Holiday rentals with lake access in Cornwall

We had a wonderful stay, and really didn’t want to leave! What a wonderful house, and the garden is absolutely stunning. The five children were endlessly entertained by the garden and hide and seek in the house when the rain inevitably came. You are really close to all the great beaches and there is loads to do right at your doorstep. Wendy was very helpful and gave us great local recommendations. Thank you for having us!!

Great place to stay, fabulous views. Mel is a great communicator. Swimming pool 2 min walk away. Grandchildren absolutely loved it (as did we all). Wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. Bonus was the weather was amazing for April.

Amanda's place is absolutely perfect, decorated beautifully with some lovely decorative items that make it homely but thankfully not cluttered. Beds were all lovely and comfortable, all rooms laid out perfectly. Great to have a bathroom and a shower room especially with a large family, there was also plenty of everything you could need in the kitchen. The site was nice with a fab pool and friendly reception staff. So many lovely beaches within a fairly short drive. Would definitely stay here again next time we come to beautiful Cornwall. Amanda was also excellent at replying to messages, always got back to us within 30 minutes at most I think. Thank you very much Amanda....10 out of 10! ☺️

We enjoyed a short break at The Slipway , a beautifully presented, well located house. It was spotlessly clean and very quiet, yet only a short wander into town. The view from the front windows is wonderful whatever the weather . Thank you for being such responsive hosts , offering an early check in and being very accommodating from booking to check out. We would highly recommend this house.

We loved our stay! Beautiful and homely, with lovely outdoor spaces. Rooms were all comfortable, clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. Simon and Saraya were friendly, gave helpful instructions and were really responsive. Would definitely recommend!

We had a very relaxed time and Saj was super responsive and very detailed in what we needed and what was around for us to do. The house had everything we needed and was very clean and have to say lovely pillows and duvet 😁 would highly recommend

Badgers House was the perfect venue and location for a large family break. House was well equipped and comfortably furnished. The indoor pool proved a knockout with the children - especially as the weather wasn’t great! The indoor games room was a hit for the male adults, who enjoyed hours of pool, and they hit the gym too. The woodland walk was perfect, we spotted a male deer, the children loved it! Hide and seek in the house was so exciting and kept the little ones entertained for hours! Thank you to Max and Alex for being superb hosts and giving us this beautiful home and setting to enjoy. Our granddaughter broke her heart to have to leave! We will definitely be returning and may need Toad Hall next time for more family members to come along and enjoy the beauty of this peaceful place.

Adrian and his team were absolutely amazing from before we arrived! Adrian sent me a long list of all the nearest supermarkets, restaurants, attractions and adventures that are around the area. It was of huge help when trying to organise the trip. When we got there we were greeted with a card and scones which was absolutely lovely! The house included anything you could ever need and more! Especially in the kitchen which was fully kitted out. The hot tub and sauna were all set up and very easy to use. WiFi worked perfectly too. We are so grateful for them for gifting us with an amazing stay and we look forward to maybe going back. Most definitely recommend staying at the Tresillian Lodge!

Great place to stay. The welcome from the reception team was very warm and friendly. The apartment was exactly as described in the listing and was cosy and comfortable. It was a chilly day when we arrived and it was so nice to walk into a warm room! Everything was clean and fresh, the view across the lake was lovely and it was quiet and peaceful. Check out was very straightforward and quick. I would definitely recommend this place.

We had an amazing time at Ralph's flat in Cornwall. The flat was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, making it feel so welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location couldn’t have been better—it’s just a short walk to the beach, which was perfect for sunrise strolls, lazy afternoons by the water and surfing. Despite being so close to everything, the neighbourhood was incredibly quiet and peaceful. The host was also very responsive and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

I can't say enough about how amazing Cherilyn is! She went above and beyond for us. Her property is in an exquisite area, and had everything we needed. The village has lots of quaint, and interesting nooks and crannies to explore. Just the right balance between nature and a lovely, friendly village. Two fresh, local Cornish pasties were waiting for us on arrival, and they were to die for 😋 I would highly recommend staying here! Thanks again for having us in your lovely annex. We will be back!! ❤️

Hayley’s place was a great find in a lovely location with views overlooking the boating lake. The guide Hayley sent over was a lovely touch and included some great spots which we visited and were glad we did. Hayley was quick to reply to my messages and has created a tranquil space which is further benefited by a great location. We will definitely be back to stay at Hayley’s again

What a fantastic find. Only a short walk into Newquay. Great walks from the front door. Waters edge was well equipped and had everything you needed. We will be back

A wonderful stay at Pinetum Gardens. A garden lover’s paradise and a must for anyone planning to visit the Eden Project as I did. Eden is a 7 mins drive away, Tesco is a 10 mins walk, and a bakery 5 mins stroll. Charlestown harbour is a 22 mins stroll and a picturesque location for drinks and food. The house itself is wonderful. Dinky. Fantastic shower and bathroom. Plentiful hot water. A comfortable bed and clean linen. Pristine kitchen. A great house and i will come back for another visit. I had a very warm welcome. The host was on hand. The site has a tearoom, which sadly i did not get to try. Accessible carpark. Hairdryer. Free wifi and everything you could ever want. A brilliant find.

Lovely few days in half term with the kids. Unable to use the hot tub as weather was relentless and was windy and wet. Driveway is a bit ropey so careful if your car is low to the ground! Hosts were really helpful and even had a visit from one of the cats!

Karen’s and Steve’s place is in a beautiful location. Lots of beautiful scenery and animals walking around in the huge garden The animals are very friendly and extremely quiet. The property is a beautiful cottage with lovely views. Secure rear garden for our little dog to walk around talking to the chickens and ducks and geese etc. Steve and Karen were extremely helpful and made you feel very welcome. Made for a relaxing weekend stay which is exactly what we wanted.

Beautiful converted stable, warm, cosy & extremely clean. Every eventuality catered for & a lovely welcome pack with milk, cookies & crisps. Perfect if you are looking for peaceful surroundings with lovely scenery and walks. Short car journey into the nearest town. Nicola was super friendly & helpful. She greeted us when we arrived and popped by to say goodbye. Perfect host !

This was the second time we stayed here and we had such an incredible time. There’s a reasons we came back - it’s perfectly positioned with a short walk to the beautiful beach, and is a lovely property with such amazing spaces. The kids (and their mum) loved winding down in the hot tub and we enjoyed evenings around the fire pit. We can’t recommend it enough.

Had a fabulous stay at Olivia’s Orchard cottage. Lots to do with farm animals around, Games room, outdoor games and lots of walks to relax and unwind at the property. Property was in proximity to Plymouth and Looe and found it very convenient to explore by car from here.

Glad to have returned we came back to Halamaling for rare in this day solitude and peace and quiet. Liz‘s place has this in abundance spotlessly clean. Recommended. Ian & Julie

This was our second time here and we had a great stay. The house is cosy and is very well equipped. The garden space is beautiful and the animals are a delight. Patrick is very welcoming and helpful. We had some lovely walks down to the lakes. Would highly recommend and we will return again.

We had a fantastic stay. The house was great for our family and dog and the hot tub was a huge hit all round. The cinema room was great to relax in and the house was well stocked. Sophie was extremely helpful with a late check out which was much appreciated and our Grandson loved grooming the horses. We are looking to book again for later in the year. Fabulous Easter break.
