Our stay was wonderful. The price for being in the center of all the action in Edinburgh was incredible. Susie was very helpful and responsive throughout the lead up, during, and after our stay. It was the perfect home base for walking around the city. Unfortunately our schedules didn’t line up to meet in person, but Susie was unbelievably sweet and dropped off some pastries for us in the morning. I couldn’t recommend this home more - it had everything we needed and was a quaint/cozy spot to crash or recharge after all the activities Edinburgh has to offer. Will definitely be looking to book again if back in the city!

Absolutely gorgeous apartment, very central to the city, yet still had that private, home from home feel. Beds are super comfortable and the place was squeaky clean. Craig and Holly are fantastic and super accommodating! I couldn’t recommend them more!

Six of us stayed at Paul's place over the February half term & there was plenty of space for all of us without feeling cramped. The accommodation was a good size. Every room had plenty of space. The beds were comfortable and the linen was fresh and clean. The street the accommodation was on was very quiet & everyone slept well. This is accommodation close to the city centre so don't expect to be surrounded by beautiful scenery. The location is very handy as you are within walking distance to Edinburgh. We were a party ranging from 13 yrs up to 80 yrs so the walk would take us anywhere between 15 to 25 minutes to walk to the Old Town, depending on who was walking. Walking is essential to go into Edinburgh. There are clean air charges on certain cars, on street parking and car parks in the centre are extremely expensive. Paul's place comes with a parking space which is worth it's wait in gold & will save you money to spend on the fun stuff instead. Comfort and location are ideal.

Don was a brilliant host, so responsive to enquiries and met us in person for check in. He gave us some great recommendations and was really friendly. The apartment is brilliant for large groups and has everything you need for your stay!

We loved feeling like locals, having our own little basement apartment in Edinburgh. We walked all over the city from here. Everything was clean and beautifully presented. We also enjoyed the Scran and Scallie, Franco Manca pizza, Toastology (seriously best toasty ever) and Books & Cup and Lanans bakery (give coffee a miss) all nearby. Also Stockbridge markets Sunday. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in Edinburgh! The location is great and walkable, with many restaurants, pubs, and parks nearby. Eddie was responsive, friendly, and gave us local recommendations. We loved it!

great apartment, everything we needed! unfortunately most of the restaurants and bars in the village were closed for refurbishment when we were there.. Still a fantastic location with lots around it!

We had a great stay . Everything you could possibly need was in the apartment and more. Fantastic location, central to everything. Beautiful building , peaceful, you wouldn’t know you were in the middle of the city. Host was helpful and accommodating. Everything went smoothly from check in to checkout. A parking space for our car was very much appreciated as we drove from Norfolk. However apartment is so brilliantly located we didn’t need it once there as walking distance to most everything in the city. Thank you again , we highly recommend ,it exceeded expectations and was great value

Excellent in all respects. Comfortable, immaculate, tastefully decorated, clean, excellent location in a fascinating city, clear instructions, all amenities required, local information provided. I can't imagine anything better. Probably the best Airbnb accommodation I have stayed in.

Loved this spot!! Super cozy and chill, the large living room was perfect. We did forget about the 4 floors of stairs we needed to take up, and we heard some late night parties going home pretty clearly through the window facing the street. Overall a really great stay!

Excellent layout and location. Very clean and well appointed. Communication was very straightforward to access the apartment and for Wi-Fi, etc. Our family of four was very satisfied and would highly recommend. Walking distance to everything.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights during our babymoon and it was wonderful. Very spacious apartment with everything you need and the check in and our process was very smooth. The location is amazing we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go within 20 minutes max. Beautiful view of Edinburgh castle from our bedroom window (Apt 3).

Truly the ideal location! You're quite literally next door to THE BEST coffee in town and loads of restaurants. This was my first time in Edinburgh, so I was unsure of where the best spots were - and man do I feel lucky that I chose such an ideal location. While some made a comment on the noise from outside, I can't say I experienced too much of this. We stayed for a week and left Sunday morning. There was barely any ruckus from the bar across the street and even when you could hear people talking, it was all over by 11:30. The noise was not an issue at all. The biggest noise issue was hearing people coming up and down the stairs. It's very loud and echo-y so please try to be mindful if you're arriving early / leaving late. This is a phenomenal "home base" for exploring the city. The bed is comfortable, and the shower has piping hot water. Just be prepared to bring your bags up a flight or so of stairs.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We felt right at home and was lovely to come back and relax after a hard day being a tourist. There was 4 of us and so we each had our own room which was great. We asked for a late check as our flight home was going to be very late . It depended on whether there was a booking but Jing confirmed that we could and also we could leave our bags. This was amazing and we really appreciated this. He responded very quickly. We would recommend this place and would definitely stay there when we come again

Beautiful space with a panoramic view of the water, we had a lovely time, was close to everything we needed, the WiFi could be better, but it was a great stay.

What can I say, we found a gem and that was Matt! He is the perfect host, wonderful warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble, he is passionate about where he lives and local knowledge is perfect for those who are new to the area. His accommodation is stunning, his passion for renovating the property to be as authentic as possible shines through, it was beautiful. The garden is just stunning! The accommodation is near all the amenities, beautiful park nearby, quiet and extremely comfortable. I can highly recommend staying and we will definitely return!

We had a fantastic stay at Martin and Charul's apartment and would definitely stay there again! From the moment of booking to departure communication was flawless and we felt very welcome. The apartment was clean, decorated beautifully and we had everything that we could have needed. The apartment is well situated and only a short walk to princes street and Edinburgh Waverley so the perfect location to explore the city.

This will be our go-to stay in Edinburgh. Walkable from Waverly train station, Hollyrood, Royal Mile, Castle, Grassmarket, Princes St….like seriously so central. The bed is incredibly comfortable, the kitchen is perfect for travelers & the fireplace was amazing after chillier than expected weather walking around exploring all day. It’s beautifully decorated & we felt at home for 6 nights! We actually loved the daily stairs as we came home having lost weight on vaca, lol! Thank you for your hospitality Lindsey!

We had a great stay at Maggie's place. The house was very cozy, neat and clean. The bathrooms, kitchen, utensils, bed sheets, towels, etc were all very clean. There was lots of stuff for the childrens to enjoy in Maggie's place. The house was loaded with all the modern amenities. There was not a single thing in the house which was non functional. The host was very prompt in responding to any query we had. To add, the locality is very peaceful. If I happen to come again, I would love to stay in Maggie's place. Not to forget the wonderful drinks, beverages, snacks, etc Maggie kept f to welcome her guests.
