Holiday rentals with a home cinema in Costa Rica

I would recommned this property. If I go back to the city, I'm sure I still book this Airbnb! 👌🏽

Background: I stayed for 10 days, during early April, rented a car and worked remotely during the week. Apartment: Excellent views of San Jose. Floor to ceiling windows! The entire building has a very upscale feel to it. The apartment itself is nice with a decent work area and two TVs. In the kitchen all of the essentials are there as well as in the bathroom. The balcony is really nice. Wireless internet connection was fast and reliable. All the appliances were extremely easy to use. There isn’t an A/C in the living room so just be ready for that, but I don’t think I would have used it anyways. The A/C in the bedroom worked great. Looks of closet space and the bed was comfy and clean. Host: Excellent communication. Super responsive day or night! Felt like a concierge! Surroundings: Very safe, upscale area. 4-5 min drive to parks, coffee, malls, groceries, restaurants almost anything. Very walkable area! For the money, the place is an absolute steal! BOOK IT!

I would say if you stay for a short time it’s 5 stars a long term stay would likely be 4 stars due to noise. The good Allan was great and responsive. The first day the coffee maker was broken and Allan replaced same day when I told him. It is close to Barrio Escalante and great restaurants and La Cali for nightlife. It’s a great location between San Jose Centro and San Pedro. It’s also close to Parque National that has great location. The building is great, a good gym, small pool, coworking area, laundry room and great bilingual door staff. The not so good, it will be noisy between the train and La Cali it will be loud and need to close the window. The mattress was initially a problem as the springs went directly into my body but figured out the mattress was on the wrong side and after flipping it was a lot better. Overall if you want to be in the heart of the action this is a good place to be. If you want peace and quiet would look at another location.

A nice quiet place to stay in San Pedro. Comfortable with all the amenities needs and close by to the center of the city. The host is very responsive and will help with anything you need.

My family and I had a very comfortable stay, the place is very beautiful, the view is beautiful. For someone home like me, I had the essentials 💯

We had a the best time staying at this Air B&B! When we got to the house, it was clean and organized. It had everything we would need for our stay including a binder with all the information about the house, local places to visit and eat, and contact information. The house was located about 10 minutes from a town and 3 minutes from the beach. It was very easy to find once we got to Hermosa Heights. The house is in a gated community with 24 hour security, who guarded the gate and would walk the neighborhood frequently. We felt very safe! During our stay, Sylvie was quick to respond to any questions or issues we had. She made us feel so welcome and excited for our stay. Sylvie was an amazing host. We would highly recommend staying at Sylvie’s Air B&B to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Costa Rica. We couldn’t have asked for a better host and house for our family’s first vacation in Costa Rica.

The house is large, spacious, has everything you want for large groups! We had a great time in our stay, we recommend it 100%

The views were breathtaking, the amenities were thoughtful, and the energy of the space was pure peace. The location is ideal — close to Uvita, Dominical, Bahía Ballena, and Ojochal — with hidden beaches, waterfalls, and delicious restaurants just minutes away. Whether we were relaxing in the hammock, cooking dinner with a view, or exploring the area, this home was the perfect sanctuary to return to each day. The hosts were warm, responsive, and made us feel right at home. We are leaving with full hearts and memories we’ll cherish forever. Highly, highly recommended — this place is magic. We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful short stay at Francisco’s house! The place was spotless, beautifully designed, and had a perfect balance of minimalism and functionality. As parents of a little baby, we felt completely at ease letting him explore, knowing the space was safe and well-kept. Francisco was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely love to come back!

Breathtaking views and a nice place!

Absolutely stunning place! The home itself is beautifully designed—spacious, clean, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay super comfortable. But the real showstopper? The sunset view. Every evening felt like a postcard moment. Watching the sky light up in oranges and pinks right from the pool was unforgettable. It’s the kind of view that makes you stop and just appreciate the moment. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway. Will definitely be coming back!

The apartment complex was beautiful. Included the gym, pool, theater room and the common area. Everything was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and there were so many local restaurants to walk nearby.

The apartment is small, studio type; but too comfortable and beautiful, with everything you need for a short or long stay. The bed is delicious, there is air conditioning, you feel very safe and comfortable. The place is very quiet, very close to everything, easy to get to. I was surprised by the smart parking tower that has the building and very friendly don Domingo, one of the guards of the place, explains to one everything, as a schoolteacher. We had a lovely time at Bonita’s place. The place is very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped. The air conditioners are all working well. The condominium is well maintained. There is a beach at the end of the road, takes about 15 -20 mins to walk there.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay! Andres was very responsive. He answered all questions and provided recommendations for our trip. The apartment was fantastic. We were impressed with the great use of space. The staff were excellent and the parking was great. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable place to check out San Jose and all of its peripheral areas. Thank you, Andres!
