Loft holiday rentals in Cyprus

Marios place was really lovely, we stayed here for a month and it really felt like a home. The place is really relaxing and comfortable, the dogs downstairs are really well behaved and friendly, Mario's parents were really nice and gave us some grapes from their vines outside. There is a Lidl in protarus which was cheap and close (around a 20min cycle each way) We worked whilst we were here and WiFi was great and Mario mentioned if it wasn't good enough he would upgrade it for our visit. We love wildlife which is why we chose this location. Close to the apartment we saw 4 chameleons, Konnos bay which was really local has a beach 5 mins along the nature trail towards Cyclops cave where we saw turtles every morning before work. Cape Greco was great for spotting reptiles and the snorkeling was brilliant (Blue lagoon was great before boats turn up and if the wind is blowing from that direction, blue holes on the opposite side will be clear)

Our 2 week stay at Hugh’s was really exceptional. The studio is beautifully renovated to make it homely and spacious whilst preserving the traditional feel. It is in the heart of the charming village of Tochni, a short stroll to either of the two tavernas. Hugh is a great host, extremely welcoming and helpful with advice. We were sad to leave and wished we had booked for longer, but will surely return.

Magnificent apartment in a quiet and private place, 40 minutes by car from Girne. Everything is clean and tidy. The apartment is warm in winter, there were no problems with the hot water! Value for money is a great option for those who drive. From the comments - I would like a little more dishes for cooking, but this did not spoil our experience at all. Thanks Jacob!

First of all, the two apartments are right next to each other and are exactly the same, simply mirrored. This apartment is west-facing (evening sun), the other facing east (morning sun). We were warmly welcomed by Mario's parents and got everything we needed. The location of the place is perfect to discover the region; in 15 minutes you were (almost) everywhere. Beautiful beaches nearby, by car in no time at Cape Greco. The property is on a hilltop and has 270 degrees sea view. Beautiful.

Tochni is a very nice and quite village with a bike center where you can rent bikes. We stayed in February 2023 there were unfortunately no restaurants open in Tochni. Hugh ( the owner ) was very friendly and welcoming, even offered us to wash our laundry. Inside the apartment there is no washing machine. The apartment was spacious and sufficient but for us not super clean as we have expected. Hot water was not running after ~11pm. We enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend this place.

It was a short stay but a pleasant one. The outside area surrounding the flat is very lively in the evening and night having live mini concerts in the nearby restaurant which could be heard without having to go out. Flat is spacious with all amenities included. The only minus for me were the stairs to the bedroom, they were really big so it felt like I’m gonna trip but nothing too major if you’re taller. All in all I would recommend Maria’s place!
