Clean space with easy access and very convenient to have toiletries and some kitchen basics in the house already. Would be helpful to have a list of available kitchen amenities in the house (e.g. can opener, toaster) since sometimes they were a bit hard to find- but everything was available. Responsive and flexible host, great house for a friend reunion & walkable to plenty of restaurants, bars, and convenience stores!

Grace was very polite and considerate. My family felt comfortable in area, and it was close to the Metro. The house was large, well equipped, and nicely decorated; with TV in each room.

The house was great for a 2 week family reunion. The home is extremely spacious & the layout (basement, first floor, and second floor) is perfect for a longer stay with 12+ people. Megan was very responsive during our stay and made the experience memorable. Parking was also easy to find on the street. Only con is they don’t have any TVs in the family room. There is 1 in the basement but it’s not a smart tv so you cannot stream anything. Overall my family & I really enjoyed our stay!

Very clean, upkept and communicated well. Was nice to have parking for the house in the congested DC area. Highly recommend if in the DC area and nearby.

After long days of sightseeing it was nice to come back to a nice comfy bed! We tend to take advantage of a new place and try to see as much as we can, so our days left us drained. Coming back to such a cozy space gave us the energy we needed to continue exploring the next day! Besides, the place itself I must shout out our host for being so thoughtful and considerate. Definitely made our stay ten times better! 😊

Jude and Davida are the kind of hosts you hope to get. Responsive, friendly, informative and just a pleasure to speak with. One small issue that I'm sure they weren't aware of was quickly resolved without a qualm. We've stayed in a number of Airbnb rentals over the past few years in the DC area. Theirs was the most comfortable, quietest, with a well stock kitchen, which was important for us as we stayed for 3 weeks. Parking was never an issue as we always found a spot on the street near the apartment. And Jude volunteered to get the necessary parking permit issued by DC to avoid those pesky parking tickets. We can say that we have stopped looking for accommodations in DC as this place will always be first on our list.

Stayed here for 4 night with my girlfriend and it was perfect for the occasion. It was clean pretty and very cozy. Coming from someone that looks for the best deal this is definitely worth it

For DC stays, the things that are important to me are: proximity to public transportation, comfortable night sleep, cleanliness and basic necessities including kitchen accommodations. Corbin's place was a perfect fit. The bus stop was right outside the door, and the metro was a 10 minute walk. The bed was super comfy, we were able to prepare very simple (well planned and prepped) meals. The place was homey and clean, with basic necessities covered. She was super kind and responsive to communication, including helping to navigate an arrival time and clarifying parking. And, yes, this is another bonus - parking on site. The place was perfect for our purposes of visiting museums, galleries, finding interesting food, and a night at the theater on a four day stay. Thank you, Corbin, for the great stay.

I enjoyed my time at sivenson place. It was as described and well kept. Easy to access with the direction that was given and felt just like home. A cozy place to stay during a work trip. I will definitely visit again anytime.

Nadia's place was perfect for my work week in DC. The apartment was quiet and comfortable, and the tea options were spectacular. The walk to the convention center was nice, with lots of restaurant options along the way. The kitchen had everything I needed for making some meals. Nadia was very kind in her communications.

My wife and I stayed at the Hydeaway Bed and Breakfast for our 38th Wedding anniversary. The quaint, charming, and beautifully restored home, along with the responsive hospitality Gary provided was perfect! We truly enjoyed our stay and the convenience of the location. It was just what we were looking for.

The reviews are spot on for this airbnb! The hosts were extravagant! They made sure we felt right at home, and we really did. It felt as though we had known them forever. Bruce and Vanya cooked us absolutely amazing breakfast, while accommodating my dietary restrictions. Would suggest anyone to stay with this lovely couple! Thank you so much for being an amazing part of out trip!

Phil is a fantastic person. As a 38 year owner of this home, he is an expert in DC, American University, and the neighborhood. He hosted us graciously and made any accommodation we requested. The space is perfect for the price and location. Easy and quick access to Metro (10 minutes) and close to most points of interest if using a car. Phil loaned us Metro cards to use and reload which saved us a few dollars. His cooking skills every morning exceed expectations to start the day off on a positive note. This stay was very reflective of a traditional bed and breakfast experience!

Best Airbnb experience ever. Phil cooks delicious breakfast for all guests each morning. He is super friendly, open minded, and knowledgeable. We share same interests in antiques and mechanical movements. Overall, this is the best experience in my Airbnb history.

Gary is very friendly and outgoing; he met us at the door and was there in the morning when we left (he lives on the property). His house is located about 2 blocks from the venue where we were attending a performance, so the cost was well worth the convenience.

We had a wonderful stay at the charming Swann House -- great location, very thoughtfully appointed & breakfast was lovely too!

Laura and Raymond are so charming and very gracious hosts. I can't recommend the raisin French toast highly enough! Plus the location is so close to Woodley Park Metro the beautiful home is easy to access.

The American Guesthouse is perfect for a visit to Adams Morgan, Kalorama, or Dupont Circle North especially if you are trying to avoid big chain hotels. It is in a charming historic home that provides quiet and privacy. The location is convenient to a number of neighborhoods, the National Zoo, and Rock Creek Park. The breakfast is outstanding, and Lucia is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Checking in and out is a breeze. I will return and stay again the next time I visit Washington D.C.
