Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Washington

Great, very spacious townhouse! The metro is only a couple blocks away, which was super convenient. We could get anywhere in DC very quickly. The home was very clean, with lots of space. We were there with our kids, and they felt very comfortable. The only thing I would say is, if you have mobile kids under the age of four, bring a baby gate for the stairs — we worried about our 18 month old getting up the stairs and falling down them. There isn’t a railing on one side. But that was easily fixed by ordering a baby gate on Amazon. Colin provided us with two parking passes for our two cars. Which was very helpful. I definitely wouldn’t recommend going to DC without having access to parking passes like that. Colin was very responsive whenever we had any questions. Would definitely stay here again!

We feel at home, it is a beautiful, spacious and cozy house, close to everything, you can share with your loved ones and create very good memories here. I highly recommend it.

This was my second time staying at Rabi's place with colleagues for a work trip. The home offers lots of space in a great neighborhood for an affordable price. And the parking area is a total dream! We really appreciated the full kitchen and the in-unit laundry, as well. Responsive communication from host. We definitely hope to stay there again next time we're in town!

Had an amazing stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, stylish, and comfortable. The host was incredibly responsive and made check-in seamless. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed, yet peaceful for a good night’s sleep. The home had all the essentials and thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. Fantastic location!! Every day we walked to have breakfast in an amazing nearby restaurant and from there walked some more to get to Capitol Hill, Desiree was a great host very responsive, the place was very clean, exactly what we were looking for

This is the second time we've stayed here. It's a great place, exactly as described. It has two good sized bedrooms and full baths. It has a full kitchen with modern, full-sized appliances. We didn't do any cooking, but the kitchen seemed to be well equipped with kitchen necessities. There was a Nespresso coffee maker with an ample supply of coffee pods, as well as the automatic drip mentioned in the listing. There were filters and coffee for the drip machine. I think I saw a French press or two in a cabinet but didn't pull them out. There packets of jam, honey, soy sauce, and more in the fridge. It's in an urban, diverse neighborhood, which is perfect for us. It's a short walk to a great organic supermarket (Yes! Organic), a little longer to Safeway. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The Metro is close, too; even closer is a bus that goes downtown. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again if it's available on our next visit.

This is an awesome stay for anyone wanting time in the Capitol! Our family loves DC and this home was great for us as we enjoyed the weekend!

We loved our stay here in Washington DC. We took our two young children and felt comfortable in the neighborhood and appreciated the easy access to Union Station to get on the metro. The downstairs apartment was great for our family, clean, and comfortable to stay in. The host was very responsive when we had any questions and very friendly to work with. We would stay here again and would recommend the location to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in DC.

Street parking easy and convenient in DC. Metro station nearby. The apartment is very livable and comfortable.

Courtney’s place was the perfect spot for my visit to DC with my son. We are relocating to SC and wanted a stay in a neighborhood to give us a feel for living in the city. The neighborhood was beautiful, safe & conveniently located. We enjoyed walking to the shops nearby. The unit was spotless and very cozy. It had everything that we needed. It was private and Courtney’s family made us feel at home. I was especially grateful for the parking spot because parking is limited in that area.

Had an amazing stay at Melissa's. Everything was as described in the listing! She even gave me a parking pass for street parking. Looking forward to a future stay!

My fiancé, myself, and our two dogs loved this beautiful little apartment! The neighborhood was beautiful. Bed was comfy! Was easy to get to and from tourists spots. Loved the added comfort of a secure spot to park especially when loading and unloading the dogs.

We really enjoyed our stay - nice neighborhood, just down the street from a park, very walkable to sites near the capitol and east end of the mall, and the kitchen was well equipped. There weren’t many restaurants close by, but that was the only drawback.

This was a complete Godsend. The location was perfect- I had to go to MedStar so I didn’t want to worry about paying a ton for parking. I needed a comfortable place to sleep & a space to rest. This fit all the boxes and was just great! Definitely hope to rent again next time I’m in DC!

This is a great cozy spot for up to 3 guests. Kitchen has all the dishes, pots & pans, etc needed to cook & serve meals. The unit is quiet, private and secure. It’s in a nice walkable neighborhood. Rideshares are plentiful, with no more than a 5 min wait at any time. I highly recommend staying here and will do so myself at a later date!

This was the perfect spot to stay in DC. Walking distance and close to the metro lines that made it very convenient. Highly recommend
