Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Dortmund

We only drive there for a short time, but had a good time at the accommodation. Ariane was a very nice and reliable host. We can recommend accommodation.

It was easy to find, instructions were clear and easy to understand and therefore easy to follow. Surroundings were quiet and good for its privacy. It was exactly as described in the pictures and therefore very pleasant. Check-in was with a nice welcome and an easier tour, highly recommend. Host very nice and was always quick to reach/contact. Everything was frictionless and no issues. I can only recommend it to anyone who wants to switch off.

Beautiful house with breathtaking views over Lake Baldeney. The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. The hosts Clemens and Mr. Siegler are very friendly, extremely hospitable and are always easily accessible. No matter what I asked, everything was always done to make you feel comfortable. We had a nice week at Marie-Luise's cottage. The "painting heating" made it wonderfully warm. - From this cottage you can be in Cologne in half an hour by train. - Furthermore, you can also quickly be in nature from the cottage for a nice walk. - We'll probably come back here sometime. It was a great stay. We really felt like at home. Everything is very nice and cozy and there is a lot of space. Very suitable for a family with 2 small children. The immediate vicinity to Nordpark is great. You look permament into the countryside, no matter what window, really beautiful. Hosts Gabrielle and Kristian are super nice and very accommodating, just like at home:-) All inquiries were answered within a few minutes, really great. We will definitely be back:-)

We needed accommodation for a wedding in the nearby Nahmer Hall and stayed with four people at Renate's. The apartment is located in a very nice old building with a lot of charm. Everything was clean and the arrival and departure straightforward. Street parking was sufficiently available. Happily again!

We felt comfortable in the apartment. Everything worked out great. I especially loved the coffee machine... with the delicious coffee ☕☕

The place was very nice and clean, hosts were very helpfull as well. When we arrived we were looking for the place to leave our bycicles, the host offered garage so we dont have to think about someone stealing it. Also we were looking for some place to eat and in notime, i got messaged with the reccomendation which was nearby. Easy communication and really felt like home.

Just great. Communication was great from booking to departure, straightforward and fast. The connection to Cologne was straightforward. Frank and his wife were very nice. Should we visit this area again, we would check in again at any time.

What says on the site about the property is completely accurate. I'm sorry the photos don't show this just as clearly. Because the house is even more beautiful in person. Well worth booking.

Beautiful house for an unforgettable weekend away with our friend group. It was our own private castle! Large rooms, comfortable beds, and kitchen and bathrooms were large, clean and well equipped. We were greeted very friendly by the house’s caretaker and contact during and after our stay was very pleasant and friendly. Two small remarks: some of the rooms didn’t have curtains or blinds to block out daylight, and in some rooms the light switches were not working properly or confusing to use. But those are just minor issues because we had an amazing time in the villa. Thank you!

Directly across the street is a large parking space, which is very helpful- i was immediately received kindly even though I arrived quite late. I felt very comfortable Thank you and we'd love to come back.

We spent a night after a long drive, I can tell you that finding the super clean house is a real luxury! Everything was nice, easy to access, spacious, very comfortable bedding a 10/10. I will return if I stay in Germany again. Thank you! It may be missing a small armchair on the ground floor to put us all down together 😄 See you soon!

For our JGA we booked this place for one night. We were 13 people, room was more than enough for everyone. Rooms were all clean, there were plenty of towels for everyone. About the location: as already described in some reviews before me, the house is located in a residential area and is a semi-detached house. Therefore, it should also be noted that you cannot/should not make noise until the end of the day. We talked to the neighbors before and were still partying around 11:30 pm. Until then, no one complained about the volume and we were certainly not quiet on the road. The garden is nice and large, the hot tub well maintained. The house itself is also in good condition, the bathrooms in the rooms are "newly" renovated. Check in / check out went smoothly, the hosts are very nice. All in all we had a great time and with the house the perfect accommodation for the JGA, thank you.

Stayed here with my company colleagues for Gamescom convention and it was spectacular. The house is beautiful and modern while retaining the charm of the German countryside. Easily accessible walking paths to the town and forest made this idea for us as we didn’t have a car.
