Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Eastern Algarve

Clean and very nicely decorated spacious country house. We spent two beautiful days here. Thanks to the electric radiators, it was also tolerable in mid-December. We could have used a fireplace in theory. Thank you for the hospitality and excellent communication.

Great location right on Faro beach. The check in instructions were clear and Monika was responsive to our questions. We spent two nights to take a break from our road trip and catch up on work and have some beach time. The home was spotless, beds were comfortable, and hot water was plentiful for showers. If there was a quibble, it’s that the kitchen did not have some basic cooking ingredients. While it did have salt, we had to drive back to the grocery store to pick up other basic spices. We wish the kitchen was better stocked, which is the attraction for airbnbs over staying at a hotel. The beach itself was amazing. We went for long walks and even enjoyed the storm that hit the coast for a few hours while we are there. Definitely recommended and I hope the hosts add more amenities to the kitchen (or don’t forget to pick up everything you need on the way in)

Fabulous house for a group or large family. Everything is so beautifully done and Melina is obviously an interior decorator because the small things mattered. Same single problem as every other reviewer is "the bells" {of the church, Igrela de Mexilhoeira} but Melina cannot do anything about that. Great accommodation, great location, great hostess.

Our stay in Casa Alegre was absolutely wonderful! Our two children (2 and 5) loved the swimming pool and all the toys. The house was well equipped and very clean. The neighborhood was quiet and the view from the patio was very nice. Plenty of nice things to see and do in the area too! We can understand why so many people return here! Highly recommended.

Amazing beach getaway for a individual or couple - particularly for surfers!! We had a fabulous stay, getting some much needed winter sunshine. The place was clean and very peaceful. The location was great, we were able to walk over with our surfboards and jump straight in to the waves.

Exceptionally clean and well equipped home. Rafael is responsive and very helpful. Although out of season we found several restaurants close by open. Beaches nearby also lots of places to walk. The weather was good so a great escape from UK for this time of year.

We really enjoyed staying in this small but perfectly formed traditional apartment. The location is excellent, right in the middle of the old town, but on a very quiet street. Teresa was a great host and responded very quickly to any questions we had. The terrace was particularly nice, even in January!

Check-in is very easy and the hosts are very accommodating. Fatiti was very responsive to the messages sent. The accommodation is very bright and spacious, we felt very good there. I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful time staying in this apartment in Sagres as a small family. It’s spacious, and although the furniture is a bit dated, it adds charm, and you can see the effort the owners put into maintaining it. Check-in was easy, and Liz and Virgilio, who live on the same property, were lovely hosts. They checked in regularly, brought fresh towels, cleaned the apartment after a week, and even arranged a playpen for our daughter. The outdoor space was perfect for our daughter to play in the shade, and she enjoyed watching the kittens explore the grounds. The location is excellent—most restaurants and beaches (Mareta and Tonel) are within walking distance or a short drive. A small note: one of the two adjacent rental rooms shares a wall with the bedroom, so you might hear neighbors. It didn’t bother us, but light sleepers might need earplugs. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would love to come back.

We had the most amazing month-long stay at this peaceful gem. The location is incredibly serene, perfect for anyone looking to relax and unwind, yet everything is easily accessible by car. Lagos is just a 13-minute drive away, which made exploring the area so convenient. And Luz.. It’s the coziest and most beautiful little town we’ve visited in Portugal. The home itself was perfect and had everything we needed for a long stay. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals at home. Our house was cleaned every week, which was such a nice touch, and there was plenty of storage space throughout, so we always felt organized and comfortable. The beds are huge and pretty comfy, making it easy to rest after a day of exploring. Wifi was good, so a big plus for remote workers like us. One of the highlights was the outdoor space and swimming poool. The terrace is fantastic for lounging, and we used the grill several times for BBQs. Peaceful atmosphere, combined with friendly dog

Tanja was a wonderful host. We enjoyed her place as it is close to the beach and marina. Tanja was ver helpful and friendly. We hope to come back and use her place again.

It’s hard to say just a few words. we love the apartment so much we could see ourselves living in it. wonderfully laid out, wonderfuly decorated, artistic. Two small terraces are a wonderful addition. And for a chilly January they found wonderful ways to help us warm up the apartment. Also, it’s a great location for exploring all of Lagos from the old town to the beaches and the Cliffs overlooking them.

Great apartment, had everything we needed traveling with a baby and a dog. Thanks for the cot! The dehumidifier was also useful. We could park easily 20 metres from the door, although in December I suppose it's easier than in summer. Everything was within 5 minutes walking, beach, restaurants, supermarket. Great value.

Wonderful place to relax and unwind. A real "Retreat"!

This place was even better than expected, such a beautiful spacious apartment with everything you need. The view of the sunset was my favourite! Susana was a wonderful host, she went above & beyond to help from arranging transfers to allowing for a later checkout. The complex is on a hill which is walkable giving a good workout or use an Uber which was very cheap, less than €5 from the Old Town. A perfect place to stay!

We, a family of four, had a great time at Carolina‘s apartment. The apartment is very comfortable and we got everything we needed. We loved hanging out on the large balcony and enjoy the gorgeous view over the beach and coastline. The beach is very close and it was easy and quick to get there with the Kids and Play in the Sand. Carolina was always helpful, Kind and easy to communicate with. We can definitely recommend staying there and would love to come back one day.

First time abroad as a family of four with young children. Location was fantastic great views of the beach and town. Everything in a walkable distance but still felt very private. Lisa was a great host and the commination was fantastic. Already planning our next trip, can't wait to come back. Matt

Rui is a wonderful, proactive SUPERHOST. Already at the airport, he had arranged a taxi driver (for our costs, of course). Rui was present when entering, fruit was ready for us, as was water, wine and beer in the fridge. So satisfied that we have booked before 2025. GREAT

Excellent apartment, equipped with absolutely everything you could need, very well located (4 minutes from the beach) and 10 minutes from the street. Quiet and nice area. Very clean. Large TV. The person in charge of the apartment who welcomed us and attended us at all times was JESSICA. EXCELLENT. Very punctual, professional, friendly and I answer our calls immediately and I solve any questions. I would definitely rent it again. Thank you
