Holiday rentals in Edith Weston

The cabin was absolutely lovely. So clean and cosy. Pleasantly surprised to find things like blankets, little led candles, big fluffy towels, lots of board games. It was very comfy and homely. The location was very peaceful. Not much for children to do outside the cabin itself, but we expected that - would recommend bringing bikes for kids. We had nice sunshine to enjoy the outdoor decking & seats to see the sun go down behind the trees. Jean was very friendly and quick to respond.

We really enjoyed our stay - the flat was spotless, tastefully furnished and in a great location. The check‑in process was smooth and the host was responsive throughout. My only small gripe was the rigidity around check‑in and check‑out times. Check‑in wasn’t available until 4 PM, and check‑out strictly at 10 AM (with a hefty £35 fee to arrive earlier). Our cleaner arrived at 10:15 AM, which felt a little tight. If the host could offer even a 30‑minute buffer on either end, it would make arrivals and departures much more relaxed. Overall, highly recommended - just be aware of the fixed times!

This is a wonderful place to stay. The house is comfortable, well equipped and spotless. It had everything we needed, including good size mugs and a teapot! Marie and Ben gave clear and easy instructions on how to get into the house and further information was in the house , if you needed it. Marie was in touch to check we were ok during our stay, which was kind. The garden was a sun-trap, making a tranquil place to rest after exploring the area. It's a perfect location, quiet, easy parking, an attractive village (with walks from the front door) and a pub 2 minutes walk away. We could not think of anything we would add here - a perfect place to stay - we'll definitely back.

My Mum and I stayed for 1 night. What an amazing place. Denise showed us around and was very informative, she showed how to use the Sauna and the Hot tub safely - the hot tub even has Bluetooth so we were able to enjoy some tunes. We had a wonderful time and even enjoyed a brilliant view of the magical sunset. Enjoyed the home made wine we purchased, it was delicious. In the morning Denise gave mum a bunch of flowers that she had picked in her garden. We would thoroughly recommend a night or two here.

Amazing stay! The place was immaculate, lovely living room area, well stocked kitchen and cosy bedroom. Looks even nicer than the photos! Lots of nice little touches like milk in the fridge, tea bags, coffee, blankets and a speaker. We enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony overlooking the countryside view. Will definitely be back!

We had the best stay at this beautiful home! Amber was a great host and went above and beyond for us. The trampoline in the garden was a great extra we weren’t expecting and the kids loved the playroom too. The location is a bit out the way so need to drive to shops 10/15 mins but the village is beautiful and really couldn’t fault it. Would return & definitely recommend. Thanks again x

A beautiful cottage, with a charming layout, making the most of the fantastic views. We could have sat watching the views for hours and were only sorry we didn't have more time to enjoy the terrace! It was well appointed and felt very homely. We loved how convenient it was for walking into Matlock Bath (only 5 minutes) with its fish and chip shops, ice cream parlours, amusements and lovely riverside walk and 2 play parks. What a great location for us as a family and it was very handy to be able to leave the car at the house and walk to the cable cars for the Heights of Abraham. We appreciated the milk and tin of chocolate biscuits. One tip for anyone who visits is to park at the top of the house, and not take the car around to the front of the house to save having to reverse up the steep hill as the road at the bottom has now been cordoned off. This place is just stunning. Beautifully decorated and kitted out. Everything comfortable and homely. The hot tub was spotless and soooo lovely. Parking right outside your lodge. The setting is idyllic with the fishing lake just in front and it’s so very peaceful. You can feed the ducks as they come up to the lodges. There’s donkeys, geese, ducks, alpacas and peacock/hen. There even a games room on site with a snooker and pool table and dart board with lots of board games etc you can play. A lovely welcome package on arrival that included a bottle of Prosecco, bread, milk and biscuits. Really helpful guy on site that couldn’t do enough for us (think his name was David). Good comms with the owner Sharon. Would highly recommend.

Jake was great. This place was basically brand new. It was perfect for the bank holiday weekend if I ever find myself back in Nottingham will stay again.
