Holiday rentals in Rutland

This is a wonderful place to stay. The house is comfortable, well equipped and spotless. It had everything we needed, including good size mugs and a teapot! Marie and Ben gave clear and easy instructions on how to get into the house and further information was in the house , if you needed it. Marie was in touch to check we were ok during our stay, which was kind. The garden was a sun-trap, making a tranquil place to rest after exploring the area. It's a perfect location, quiet, easy parking, an attractive village (with walks from the front door) and a pub 2 minutes walk away. We could not think of anything we would add here - a perfect place to stay - we'll definitely back.

We had a lovely stay at the Hobbit. The hut is lovely, cozy, well looked after and clean. Amy is very responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed our experience at the Hobbit and will definitely be back in the future. Recommended

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Andy’s cottage, it is picture postcard beautiful and larger than the photographs depict. There is so much to do and such wonderful walks we need to return. Everyone we met was so friendly and hospitable. We visited rutland farm park which my two year old grand daughter adored and ate at the blue ball at Braunston which i can highly recommend. We also popped to Stamford to get takeaway pizzas which were so good. Thank you so much Andy for letting us check in early and check out later this really made our stay all the more special. We can’t wait to come and stay again.

We were after somewhere for a short stay with beautiful surroundings, and that's exactly what we got. We had such a lovely comfortable stay, the cottage had everything you could need. I absolutely loved the bath and how the place had been put together it was just stunning! Thank you for having us! We can't wait to return.

Puddle Cottage - what a beautiful, cosy place to stay, within walking distance to Rutland Water. On arrival communication from Anna was excellent, and we were able to check in early, and there was a lovely welcome gift of Wine, cakes and milk too. The cottage is just great, Anna has made it feel like it is your own home, with so many home comforts, comfy furniture and bed, decent TV, a fully stocked kitchen, with lots of pots, pans, utensils and crockery, no skimping at all. Everything stands out a good quality - which is so nice when you are away from home. We stayed with our black Labrador and he was also happy, with a secure garden for him (and some doggy treats from Anna). We did lots of walks around the lovely friendly village, and around Rutland Water, and also had a fab dinner one evening at The Fox, North Luffenham. We would come back again and would thoroughly recommend Puddle Cottage.

A beautiful house to stay in in many ways, fabulous walks and gardens , very clean and warm and well stocked with pans and equipment (but no scissors) as well as some good games. Disappointing that there were no coffee pods when we arrived, although some were delivered the next day, I believe we should have plenty of them provided, Another disappointment was we hired the hot tub but no extra towels were provided so we had to use the same towel , hard to dry unless we had the heating on at all times There was also no towel provided for the downstairs toilet and definitely not enough toilet paper ! Overall a fine place that could do with some tuning. I definitely go again

Myself, my partner and our dog stayed for 1 night and loved every moment! It was easy to find and in a lovely peaceful village. We visited the Blueball in Braunston from Charles’ recommendation and the food was lovely. The place was clean and tidy and dog friendly which is great. Would definitely recommend staying here and would love to go back. Thank you.

Our first experience using Air BnB and Topiary Barn did not disappoint!! It was everything and more that we needed for our stay. The private garden area was a bonus and perfect for our morning coffee. We are already planning to stay again!
