Family-friendly holiday rentals in El Cotillo

Alfredo's place was perfect for our small family and friends. It was in an ideal location and exactly as he described. Communication was very easy and friendly. We thought the apartment was even better than it looked in the photos and were really delighted with how well-equipped it was for cooking, etc. We had an amazing stay, and look forward to visiting again before too long.

Wonderful place to friends and enjoy a private community

Fátima greeted us at the house and showed us where everything was. She also gave us a map with sightseeing and restaurant suggestions for places all over the island. The bed was so very comfortable (on the firmer side, but perfect for us), and big (super king size). The covered patio had a wonderful view of the mountains and the jacuzzi was the perfect spot to watch the stars after a day exploring the island. Fátima was also very thoughtful to provide a cooler bag and ice blocks and a picnic basket which was so useful on our days out. Puerto del Rosario was about a 10 minute drive away, and there were several supermarkets in the town (our favourite was the Mercadona). The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for preparing and cooking food, AND there was even a dishwasher for easy clean up :) It really was a perfect place for us to retreat to and we would not hesitate to visit Casa Blas again...

We had a very relaxing 10 night stay at Gilbert & Lyz’s villa; it was exceptional clean, & looked just like the photos. We particularly enjoyed the jacuzzi, the private gardens & the espresso coffee machine. Communication with Lyz was easy & responsive. A super stay!

The house is very nice inside and out. The outdoor area is private. You have a view of the volcano. Nevertheless, there are many on foot Restaurants and shops can be reached.

Carmen's house is very spacious, tastefully furnished and fully equipped as an inhabited house. The hot tub relaxed us after the day of visiting the island. Carmen was very nice and left food for breakfast and beer. The road to the house, which is in a secluded place, is dirt, but walkable. Bonus: There was a cuddly orange kitten who came to visit us every night🥰. Thanks!!

Our recent stay at Dave's Airbnb was nothing short of fantastic. The place was immaculate, and the well-stocked kitchen made cooking a breeze. Dave's excellent communication and quick responses to our questions ensured a smooth check in and an overall wonderful experience. The location was ideal, with high-quality restaurants within walking distance. The ample space easily accommodated our family of five, and the kids loved the pool and hot tub. The proximity to a fabulous hiking trail and camel rides made our stay truly memorable. Dave's attention to detail and hospitality made this Airbnb experience exceptional – we highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful 6-day stay in Lajares at Stefano's Airbnb. He was extremely friendly, always available, and very accommodating. The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was very quiet, making it a perfect place to relax. I can highly recommend this place!

The pretty Casa Elsa is perfect to shine in the north of the island. The cottage is tastefully decorated, very well equipped, and everything is available. You can even have a very affectionate little Vanilla cat, not to mention the pool! Thanks to Elsa for hosting us!

Really great location, just in front of the natural park and with the swimming pool at the doorstep. Good communication with Karine et Jeff, who were flexible with our date changes.

Wim's place is recommended - 10/10! :) We felt very comfortable, Wim is very friendly and accommodating, accommodation as described and stylishly furnished. The deck is so beautiful. We will be happy to come back!

Erwin and Valentino were absolutely fantastic hosts. The apartment was even better than I expected and it was immaculately clean and well furnished. The beds were so comfortable and although it was close to the music square the bedrooms were at the other side of the building and we were not disturbed at all by the music. The location is fantastic and the beach and a great selection of restaurants are right on the doorstep. I will definitely return and look forward to staying at this apartment again.

This is our second stay in this beautiful apartment. We were met by the friendly Alberto who allowed us an early check in and welcomed us into the accommodation carrying our cases for us. We noted that there was a huge brand new SMART TV in the living room and the fridge was new too, and we were provided with a substantial welcome pack including water and other drinks. We have stayed in Oasis Royal for many many years but this is undoubtedly the favorite apartment for us (two persons). We stayed in January 2025 for a week and had very settled weather apart from one evening, so enjoyed some relaxation and peace around the immaculately maintained gardens and pool areas. Location wise, it is so close to the shops and cafes and in-between the main street in Corralejo and the Campanario Centre and just a short stroll to the beach. Thank you Alberto for your hospitality. We will be back.

Stunning views and excellent communication. If your looking for a stunning view of the sea in a nice quiet area this is definitely the place to stay.

An excellent place with wonderful views of the mountains and very spacious

We stayed at Lara’s beautiful villa over Xmas and New Year and had a fantastic time. Lara was perfect at communicating with easy check in, directions and where to go/eat. The villa was perfect it’s located just outside Corralejo in a nice quiet area with a supermarket close by, the villa had everything we required and was very clean and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend staying there we look forward to returning to Lara’s beautiful home. Lara you were the perfect host thank you! 😊

The location of the house was perfect for us, close to local pubs, good quality restaurants and a taxi rank, with a small supermarket just around the corner. The property is well appointed, clean and secure, with friendly neighbours. We enjoyed the pool area with beautiful sunshine every day. The house is around 20 minutes walk from the beach, and a taxi to the town centre costs €5, and are available every 10 minutes at the local taxi rank, including going to the airport for around €60. Internally the house is well appointed with 3 large double bedrooms, and one with twin beds. Plenty of cupboard and draw space is available, as well as towels and linen. The kitchen is open plan with the lounge and includes a dishwasher and washing machine both working very well. The lounge can accommodate easily six persons, and has a diner table and chairs for the same number. The outside patio looks out onto the Main Street good for sundowners having an electric sun blind and a table and seats. Super

Stayed in apartments 1 & 2 with my elderly in laws for a month in February and we had the most amazing time. The apartments were light & spotlessly clean with a fantastic balcony overlooking the sea and beach which was brilliant just to sit there with a drink watching the world go by. The apartments are 1 minute from the beach and 5 minutes to the main strip with all the bars & restaurants but still very quiet at bedtime. David and his parents were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them and they helped make our time there special We have had such a great time that we rebooked for the all of February 2026 before we left.

We had a great time at Nicolas’ villa. It had everything we needed and more. Location was great for visiting the north of the island easily. Nicolas provided recommendations and information for places to visit, meals out, supermarkets etc. Nicolas was easily available by message but not intrusive. Had such a great time we’re already booking for next year!

We spent our summer vacation in Casa Brujas with our two daughters and we loved every day in this beautiful house and this marvellous island. The house is super modern but still has a lot of charme. The kitchen and two bathrooms are new and with everything we needed. The whole place felt very cozy and was just perfect. The outside area is again really nice and calm. The pool was fantastic and was cleaned twice a week. Alja was a wonderful host. Always responsive and helpful. She really cared for us and tried everything to make our stay as memorable as possible. We can wholeheartedly recommend this house and the surroundings. Larajes is a nice little town with some great shops and good restaurants (definitely check out rojo tomate, if you like pizza). Corralejo with its beautiful dunes and beaches is just 30 min away by car and cotillo with the lovely la concha beach is just 15 min away. Thank you, Alja, for this very special and wonderful time. Fiona's and Richard's house is probably the best, or one of the best, houses I've stayed in. The house itself is a gem, equipped with all the facilities you could need, and offers views you can only dream of. Positioned on the highest part of Lajares, the house is essentially nestled in the desert at the foot of a volcano, which can be reached with a mild trek. The house is extremely bright, with large windows on both sides that allow you to see both the town on one side and the volcano on the other. Waking up in the midst of the rocky desert is an incredible experience. The pool is heated and beautiful, and there's a spacious poolside area where you can organize lunches and dinners. Richard was extremely welcoming and accommodating, allowing us to check out late so we could enjoy one last lunch by the pool. What I can say more? You have to try it yourself!

just back from 12 days at danielas lovely apartment. it was a perfect stay in beautiful surroundings nice and quiet with a great pool area. Daniela was a perfect host who couldn't do enough to help and make sure I had every I needed and was always just a txt message away. Thank you Daniela I hope to stay again soon.
