Holiday rentals in El Vado Reservoir

We had a wonderful stay at Miguel’s place. A truly beautiful home in beautiful surroundings. The place was cozy and was stocked with everything we needed! We hope to come back again

The kitchen literally had everything you could possibly need... Bathroom was extremely clean and furniture was updated and clean. Hot tub was spotless. They gave us wonderful recommendations for food and dining. They also gave a specific instructions on how to take care and get into hot tub! Property was absolutely beautiful. Only bad thing I can say is not even about the property, it is about the road to get to the property. Extremely Bumpy and definitely needs some TLC But overall excellent property and stay. We will definitely stay here again.

Sometimes five stars was not enough to properly rate this place. We came for a four-day weaving workshop at Tierra Wools in Chama and this place was just 10 minutes away. It is in the quiet community of Brazos and was in such a picturesque location especially after the two snowfalls we had. The house was warm and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen. The internet worked fine (many of the other airbnbs in the area did not offer wifi). This nicely restored and decorated old adobe was the perfect escape after a long day in the weaving workshop. We also really appreciated the covered parking area when leaving in the morning after a night of snow.

My friend Maggie and I stayed here for a few nights at the end of a southwest road trip. It was a dream, we didn’t want to leave! Lauren’s casita is clean, cozy, and has everything you need for a memorable and restorative stay. We especially enjoyed the fireplace in the bedroom, the well-stocked kitchen, and the beautiful surroundings and decor. Lauren was very friendly and accommodating. We’ll definitely be back!

Our stay was peaceful and magical. Lots of walking trails from the property. Felt secluded. The sauna was a godsend to use. The only downside was that the oven makes a clicking sound whenever it’s in use, as if it keeps trying to light the pilot light. We weren’t informed about this until I called Mike to ask about it. Not the end of the world but definitely stopped us from using the oven as much.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The area was beautiful, private, and peaceful. It was a great place to get away and just relax and unwind. We will definitely be booking this place again. We highly recommend staying at this beautiful cabin.

This cute cabin was a great jumping off point for visiting Chaco. Super serene, the wood stove heats the cabin fast and keeps it cozy.

I couldn’t speak enough about this home. It was exactly what we wanted and expected for a holiday getaway. We had 4 people and you could easy have had 2-3 more without being over crowded. It was such a wonderful home feeling if you’re looking for a place to get away. We had everything plus more than we could ask for when having to remember to pack things. The neighborhood is EXACTLY what you want when you are looking for a mountain getaway. We had deer walk right up to us and eat out of our hands. The Brazos River is walking distance and that was amazing! I couldn’t say enough how wonderful it was! Don was super attentive and gave clear instructions for everything and anything around us! Definitely worth booking and staying! I wanted to rebook on the way home!!
