Earth house holiday rentals in Europe

We had a peaceful night at Guilaine's place. Every effort has been made for a welcome and an enjoyable stay. Guilaine is available and the exchanges were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this authentic and warm little piece of heaven.

This place is completely magical. We felt so privileged to be able to find something so remote and unique to spend a few days. The garden was beautiful, we were invited to pick veggies from the garden which were delicious. The kids had a great time running around the garden up and back from the river. It is a peaceful beautiful paradise. We were very sad to leave, and hope to come back!

The house is located in a unique historic village. Definitely go for a walk through the village . The location is great to discover the Versace valley and Lago Maggiore. The historic has been nicely renovated . All the essentials were present. It is a small and cozy house and it was perfect for us as a family for 4 nights ( 2 adults , 1 toddler, 1 dog). You can have dinner outside looking out over the valley. There is a great restaurant located next to the house. It has to be noted that parking was difficult. There is no dedicated parking for the house. One night we had to park 10 minutes down the road. Also, you have to go down quite a few steps to get to the house. Which might a challenge for less mobile people. We also struggled to find the place on the day of our arrival. The location on Airbnb is a few 100 meters off and it seems like all houses are called Rustico. However, Davide was very responsive and showed us in the right direction. Overall we had a great stay.

We were passing through (at 4) during our crossing of France, so we were not able to enjoy the surroundings. But the little house is very well remodeled with taste and warmth thanks to the stove in particular. The accommodation and hospitality made us want to return to enjoy the surroundings by visiting or hiking.

It was a big pleasure to play with Urszulas dogs. We were treated like old friends, not tourists. The house is in the middle of nowhere and you are face to face with nature. Exactly what we expected.

The house has a very large and fully enclosed property. The view is fantastic. From the nearby highway you can hear a noise, but it didn't really bother us. Serena and her husband were very friendly and helped us with all questions. On slightly cooler days, the house could easily be pleasantly tempered with the air conditioning. On our arrival, the fridge was so well stocked that we could easily spend our dinners.

If you have a larger group of people like I did with 5 of my good friends, this place was beyond expectations. Perfect place to stage great group activities. Owners were more than accommodating and the place was spotless.

Our first visit to the Isle Of Skye and can wholeheartedly not of chosen anywhere better. Waking up to the sound of birdsong and the incredible view and the changing light along with the abundance of daffodils in Nicola’s garden is something I’m going to really miss (along with her friendly sheepdog) Honestly didn’t want to leave! The Bothy itself was more spacious than I had envisaged and was incredibly warm and cosy along with an extremely comfortable bed and a well stocked kitchen which had everything you could possibly need to cook a meal. Nicola and her son have crafted something really special here. I genuinely hope we could return one day!

hosts have been flexible on check-in and checkout times and understanding. They understood our need and adapted to us, it was perfect. Clean and well-equipped accommodation, parking spaces in front of the accommodation. It went very well!

Nicole's cottage is a peaceful cocoon, with a neat and warm decoration. Staying there is to treat yourself to a bubble of tranquility, apart from everything, and appreciate the authenticity of the natural setting that surrounds us.

We had an amazing time staying in the hobbit house, our daughter loved it so much and would love to visit again! The children also loved making friends with the dog!

A brilliant stay at Jody and James’ cabin. Ideal location for the walks and trips out I had planned - and a 5min walk to watch the sun come up/go down over the bay. James was super helpful with check-in and made sure I was stocked up with kindling. Much appreciated! Looking forward to staying again. Cheers!

It was a great stay. Beautiful, restorative, simple and relaxed. It is a great little place to stop and check out. We enjoyed the home, the land and all the people we met. The cats were very friendly and the family was as well. It is very peaceful and beautiful!

Beautiful home, looks even better than the pictures. Very clean, comfy, clean, and very strong attention to detail in the building. You can tell it was made with love. Hosts are very kind and responsive.

Anne was friendly and welcoming, great local knowledge and recommendations. The location is secluded and private, but just a short drive to local amenities and connections to Edinburgh. The place was clean and tidy, and had everything you could need for your trip :)

We were looking for an exceptional place to stay and found it. This earth house is something very special. The atmosphere in the house is indescribable, you have to experience it, simply unique. The house is very stylish, very clean and nothing is missing. The beds are very cozy and the view through the dome roof, into the starry sky, puts the crown on the whole. The earth house is centrally located, but the surroundings are still very quiet. All major stores are within walking distance. Around Bad Zwesten there are many excursion destinations. We particularly enjoyed Fritzlar with his old half-timbered houses. Around a perfect holiday, I'm sure we'll be back. Many thanks to the hosts Markus and Kerstin

Beautiful accommodation. Stunning views. High-end products used throughout. Lovely touches like bathrobes, slippers and dry robes. Was definitely luxury. Well appointed kitchen. We ate in as you would need to drive if you went out. We liked that though because we made good use of the facilities and hot tub. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful stay, very calm farm and extremely cosy house. It is worth mentioning the fresh fruit orchards, the friendly horses, the amenities of the different spaces of the property and the company of the two b*****s Guadiana and Mimosa. Host very available and attentive. Sunrise memorable among the fruit trees.

The stay was exceptional! My 6yr old and I were gitty and enjoying every minute we stayed. Peaceful and so cozy. We couldn't ask for more! Thank you! Definitely will see us again 🥰🧙‍♂️

Incredible place - one of the most unique places we’ve ever been! You are literally in the city walls by the sea in an ancient building. It’s amazing. And the space is HUGE and really contemporary. All in all a great find. Molfetta is a great place with so many restaurants and bars. So much fun!
