Windmill holiday rentals in Europe

Amazing!! The photos don’t do this place justice. It is so quirky and unique staying in a real windmill and we loved it. The spiral stairs, the round beds, the views… the location is fantastic, you can walk to the beautiful town of glaxidi which we loved and also the beach - both on paths through pine trees and also while we were there we had the swimming pool all to ourselves! A wonderful, magical place in a unique setting. We enjoyed the time and felt comfortable at all times and found the relaxation we were looking for. The Farver Mühle is in our list of reunion places. Great unique stay. lots of room in the suite as well as the common area. The history and education factor is great as well. The only thing I found strange is that bedding is not included in the rental and must be paid separately. If you like staying in interesting locations, this is definitely one to stay in.

Wonderful place to stay with family, children especially would find the place delightful, with old parts of the mill decorating the front yard and providing an interesting diversion for the kids. Place is thoughtfully constructed and furnished by superb hosts Nuno and Cristiana. Would recommend without hesitation.

we have enjoyed the wood-fired hot tub and sauna very much. Bed sheets and towels are included. Joan is a super sweet and friendly hostess, we felt completely at home !

Such a fun place to stay. It was very peaceful and had great outdoor area to relax and enjoy the sunset.

Unique accommodation in a 100 + year old mill with mill decor partially preserved. Beautifully located with great views. Sandra received us with great warmth and generosity. We had wishes to see more mills and Clotilde was very helpful. A home we are happy to recommend.

I had such a nice experience at the Windmill! It is really well designed and very unique. The hot tub was great and I liked having the outdoor terrace space. The property is just a short walk from the main street in Oia. The manager, Jason, is excellent! He was very attentive and helped me with any questions I had. The provided breakfast was also very good. Also, I didn’t experience any tremors from earthquakes.

A beautiful windmill, a beautiful space, and a very friendly host. She invited us for dinner and made us galettes. I've never had them before, and they were so good! She made us feel right at home, and it was a very authentic experience. The space was perfect and worked well. Can't wait to come back! Thank you again!

A beautiful location - peaceful and with wonderful views. A stunning windmill rennovation, with a delightful terrace overlooking the sea. Spotlessly clean. Aris was helpful and friendly and informative.A great spot from which to explore Tinos town and island.

We spent 5 wonderful days in the Christos windmill, furnished with care and elegance despite the small spaces. The windmill is unique as a location, great for relaxing and enjoying a breathtaking view, outside the downtown casino, but at the same time 5 minutes from the restaurants and the most beautiful beaches. The host was very kind and thoughtful. I hope to go back!

My Husband and I stayed in the Windmill for our honeymoon and it was absolutely magical. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. the home itself is super well equipped with everything you need. It is decorated so lovely, makes you feel right at home. Michel who greeted us at check in was lovely and very informative. Julie was also extremely polite to communicate with. A great place for a family holiday. Perfect for teenagers & adults. Elderly guests can stay on the lower floors. Very well kitted out with everything you might need. Would recommend it for 12 people. Also accommodates dogs.

This place is so cute and we were so excited to stay here! We were here in February and failed to miss the note that there is no heat. That was OUR fault and not Sabrina's. We were still comfortable and charmed by her place. She put plenty of warm bedding out for use and we both slept very well there. I would love to spend more time there in the warmer months. Sabrina was great and went out of her way to make it possible for us to stay there.

You can only say woooowww to the place and Petra and Dietmar. The warm late reception, the cleanliness....yes the cleanliness and that must be mentioned *****+. The mill is as described and shown in the pictures. Everything is available and "thank God" not overdecorated... just right to be able to feel comfortable. The whole mill and grounds are great. The kitchen lacks nothing. The bedroom is really cozy and spacious. The beds are great (except for the bright lamp by the bed, but that's a matter of taste). Not too soft mattresses (especially two single mattresses), 2 pillows for everyone and overall perfect. The bathroom is really good, especially the shower. Also the possibility to wash laundry: in the machine, Petra starts it and later takes it out herself, all in order. We would keep coming back....stay as you are and please stay healthy. Conclusion: we enjoyed it and felt at home.....Thank you*****

The Indigo Windmill was an experience to remember. Andrea is an extremely generous and gracious host. The accommodations were incredibly well thought out and had every convenience I could have asked for. The outdoor area is incredible and well equipped so I didn't have to carry things down to it. A couple of my friends from Lisbon joined for a day and we had more that enough room to enjoy. They were beside themselves when they saw it. The spa was hot and clean. The bike rental is convenient and the lit path to the beach is a gem. The town itself boasts convenient markets, great food, and a quiet easy attitude that made me feel right at home right away. Andrea checked in with me, offered suggestions, and had a great personable way about him. It is easy to make memories in such a wonderful space and I am grateful that Andrea chose to share it with me.

this location is a great tip for adventure holidays. It is around, very quiet and you live in a historically elaborately renovated yet fully functional and well preserved mill, which is over 100 years old. This has a special adventure and experience factor. Nevertheless, you don't have to miss any comfort in this apartment. The complex is my secret for North Sea vacation

A true gem, the mill of the Post family! If you want the special accommodation, this is the destination! Wonderful vacation spot!! Enchanting mill located on the outskirts of the village, right by the river Harle. Romantic and very quiet. Lovingly furnished. Everything you need and more. Bright and friendly. Fabulous views all around. Ideal for cycling through East Frisia and the sea. Jever, Esens and Oldenburg invite you to stroll. Even in quite fresh April, we were able to heat the apartment well with the numerous electric radiators. In the village shop on Camingplatz there are rolls and delicious cakes. We will be back!
