Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Falmouth

We had a great stay at this lovely flat in St Ives. The flat itself is nice and spacious and was great for us and our two boys. The directions to the property were very clear. It’s very easy to miss the turn off and it is a bit scary if you are not a confident driver. Note: there are two flights on stairs up to the apartment so if you have mobility issues you might struggle. Seems like a lot of the places are a little walk from the car in St Ives and the roads are all narrow coastal roads. We had some interesting encounters. There is so much to do in the area you will not get bored !! We will be coming back.

Stunning apartment, spacious and modern . Very clean. Welcome pack provided and toiletries. Beautiful views across the bay. 5 min walk down to the sea. 10 mins back ( uphill ! ) Lovely balcony to have a glass of wine. Peaceful location. Would thoroughly recommend.

A lovely quiet place to stay in Cornwall that was still within short driving distance to plenty of options. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need for a comfortable and easy stay. The hosts were welcoming. Would recommend!

Great apartment, very clean and spacious. Everything you need is there and it’s really close to the town centre and all of the beaches. This is the second time we have stayed and we will hopefully return in 2023.

The actual apartment was brilliant very peaceful. There was not a dish washer however although that’s not a deal breaker!! No washing up liquid or cloths so take your own (sometimes they are provided). The weather was rough while we were there but we were very cosy in our apartment over looking the lake. Really enjoyed our break.

Fantastic, roomy apartment, ideally situated very near Towan beach & Newquay centre. Beautiful view and very accommodating. Would recommend highly.

We stayed at Neil's place in Newquay, Cornwall, and it was absolutely fantastic! Initially, we spoke to Neil, but Steve, the manager, took over and made the process seamless. We booked this last-minute stay on New Year’s Eve for the same night, and they were incredibly accommodating to make it happen for us. The apartment was pristine, luxurious, and in an amazing location with stunning views. Watching the NYE fireworks over the harbour from our balcony was such a special treat. It truly felt like a home away from home. We usually stay in Perranporth, but this place has now become our new favourite. It completely trumps our previous go-to! We can’t wait to come back again and highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks so much, Neil and Steve, for making this New Year’s our best in a long time! Craig

A spotlessly clean but homely flat. Easy allocated parking outside flat. Exactly as per photos and description. 1 min flat walk to sea. 10 mins walk to sandy beach with restaurant open all day.Less than 10 mins walk to quayside with numerous restaurants and shops. Looking forward to next visit as will definitely book again.

A really nice little flat, wonderfully clean and warm. I stayed for 9 nights and it was perfect. A five minute walk to the National Maritime Museum and all the restaurants and shops in Falmouth. Nicola was really easy to communicate with and was happy to sort out parking for me - I was in a large van for work, which can sometimes present difficulties so that made life a lot easier. Would definitely stay again.

This unit has amazing views in 3 directions, is very centrally located in Cornwall, and is easy for walking to town. Great accomodations, very clean & had comfy beds. Having a garage & laundry were big pluses! (Only negative is, if it's cold & windy outside, which it was for us, the apartment is very chilly due to all the gorgeous windows...a trade-off for the amazing views.)

Perfect little valentines stay Toni was very helpful allowing me to check in early to set up a surprise for the other half. Also allowed us a late checkout free of charge too. Very happy :)

We had a lovely few days over Xmas and new year the apartment was very well equipped and had everything we needed with a teenager toddler and dog . The location was fab and close to the town and beaches and my teenager and I loved popping down for a swim and gym every evening !

Following our first visit to Horizons last year, we rebooked this year and thoroughly enjoyed another week at this fabulous flat in the best location you could hope for in Newquay. The location is ideal for an easy 5/10 minute walk into the town centre. The view from the flat is breathtaking and the whole panoramic view of Newquay can be seen. The flat is ideal for couples, or a family of 4, and in the event of bad weather perfectly ok to stay in with books, games and DVDs supplied. Secure underground parking for 1 car is one of the stand out features as parking is not easy, especially in the busy period, and car park charges would be very high for all day/night parking. We will certainly be rebooking for next year, and would have no hesitation in recommending this property for anyone wanting convenience, superb position, a very comfortable and well equipped flat, and the best views of Newquay you will find anywhere!

Sarah was a wonderful host and the property was a fantastic place to stay, we really felt at home. The surrounding area is beautiful with the beach and village amenities all within walking distance. Having use of the facilities in the hotel opposite was an extra bonus. So glad that we found this place.

The house is clean, the rooms are a good size, everything you need is there, and it has a lovely outside space too

The Lodge was way above expectations despite the great reviews it already had. We were 6 adults & 2 young children- the bedrooms were perfect, roomy with ensuites- a real treat. The upstairs lounge was a kids dream with the Wendy house & sooo many toys. The Christmas tree was a fabulous bonus & made our celebrations perfect. The hot tub was brilliant & well used by us all- it was great knowing how clean & well maintained it was. The Lodge itself we could not fault. The resort itself is somewhat tired & in need of a bit of tlc. Understandably mid winter not all activities were available & we expected this but did feel that the pool facilities which we used needed maintenance. We did not expect the bar staff to be too inebriated to serve us the one evening we decided to pop up to the bar!! Other than that top marks - a long awaited family holiday that we will remember with joy. The only let down was the non-return of a left behind item that should have been easily located.

We stayed here from the 14-21st September. The accommodation was perfect, very spacious, and beautifully maintained. The resort itself is beautiful and tranquil, we would 100000% visit again! This is a pet friendly lodge so upon arrival do not expect the accommodation to be perfectly clean, we found it clean but not clean to a high standard and there were a few issues with cleanliness but with a quick 10 min clean with the other guests I was staying with it was fine! - I’d definitely return

We had a great a time in St. Agnes staying in the Lodge. It is a great cosy cottage with an exceptional location only 5 minutes from the coastal path and 15 minutes into St. Agnes. This section of the coastal path is amongst the most beautiful in Cornwall and any walk is nicely followed by a dip in the hot tub. followed by a relax in the hot tub. Kate was a brilliant host communicating proactively and throwing in a few extra treats (thanks 👍). A fabulous few days away!

Definitely recommend a stay here... there were 4 of us,, plenty of space inside.. never got to use the deck due to the weather... Bar down the road is great too Awesome hosts who made sure we had everything we need

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming place! From the moment we arrived, Jodie was an incredible host—so friendly and attentive. She was available to offer support late in the night and early in the morning, which really made us feel taken care of. She was also more than happy to provide fantastic recommendations for things to do in the area, which we loved exploring! The place itself was even better than we expected. The photos don’t do it justice—there’s so much space, comfort, and attention to detail. Everything we could possibly need was provided, from kitchen essentials to cozy touches that made it feel like home. The location couldn’t be more ideal for families. Being within Atlantic’s Reach resort was also a bonus! The free passes for the pool, soft play, and outdoor play areas were a hit with the kids. They had endless fun and it gave me some much-needed downtime, too. Overall it was an absolutely perfect base for our holiday. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house, in a great location for walking into St Ives. Plenty of space, spotlessly clean and comfy for six guests with 3 very good sized bedrooms and a large communal area downstairs. Sarah was an amazing host, very helpful and accommodating and made our stay fantastic 😊 thank you so much. We will definitely recommend this property to family and friends and hope to return ourselves

One of the best places we’ve stayed. The house was brilliantly equipped and beautifully put together. The site has loads to stuff to entertain kids and great dog walks. The hosts, Anthony and Alison, were very kind and responsive, even over Christmas. We highly recommend this property and we would love to return in the summer.
