Aneesha is one of the best Airbnb hosts I’ve ever had. She’s incredibly friendly, responsive to questions, and clearly committed to ensuring her guests have a great stay. The 6pm checkout time is the latest I’ve ever experienced, which allows for a hassle-free final day on the island. On top of that, she kindly invited me to check out even later after asking about my schedule—a very thoughtful gesture. I truly appreciated her hospitality and care during my stay.

I never actually met Julie while I was there but contacted her several times before the trip and her responses were always quick and very helpful. During my stay at the apartment I met Nita and her husband. They’re both incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were super helpful with any queries I had. I was staying on my own and it was my first time in Mauritius but they made me feel right at home. Even small touches like providing delicious fresh fruits on a couple of mornings, was very kind of them and much appreciated (a lovely surprise to wake up to!) The apartment itself is lovely and well maintained with excellent wifi. It’s in a quiet area. The bed has a very comfortable, firm mattress. The roof-top terrace is huge and a lovely spot to relax/sunbath. The kitchen has everything you need and the whole apartment was very clean. They have a shop at the end of the road (less than a minute walk), very handy for snacks and essentials :) Would happily stay here again. 10/10!

This place is located in the centre of one side of the country, so it was easy for us to travel to the north and south. a lot of places were near us. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and comes with all the essentials you'd need in an Airbnb, including a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. The owner, Jean and his wife were incredibly kind and welcoming, even preparing a dinner for us upon arrival. They were so nice throughout our stay. The apartment is separated, so you have your space completely and thwy can be reached so easily as well. The location is perfect, allowing easy access to various attractions. Jean and his wife made us feel so at home, and their hospitality truly enhanced our stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

I highly recommend you choosing Jess as your host - trust me, you won't regret that! He's really friendly and helpful. It's our second visit to Flic en Flac and this year we also decided to stay at Jess place. The apartment that we stayed for a week was really nice and clean. You will find everything that you need there even for longer stays - washing machine, a lot of towels, a lot of beddings, hair dryer, iron and fully equipped kitchen with oven and microwave. Each bedroom is also equipped with AC unit. The localization of the apartment is also great - it's just 5 minutes from the beautiful beaches and a lot of great restaurants. And it's only 7-8 minutes from JumboExpress (bigger suppermarket).

It was perfect! All we needed for a break! The house is well located with a stunning view and sunset, surroundings are quiet, the house is well-equipped, beds are comfortable, everything is clean and Amreen is an amazing host! She welcomed us and was very responsive the whole time we needed something. We loved our time at her place❤️

Our stay at Villa Douce was very good. The house is spacious and clean, the pool is great- especially for children. The location of the house is perfect to reach the main attractions in Mauritius. Also a beautiful beach is only 5 min by car. We can also especially recommend the contact (Mr. Anil) recommended and reliable by the landlady for transfer from the airport, car rental or for booking excursions.

Our stay in Sarah house was great. Location is good near to supermarket and 2 min by car to the beach. House is quiet you sleep comfortably. All what you need for your stay is available washing machine, cocker… I recommend to choose Sarah house

This is such a beautiful place to stay. The accommodation is spacious and has everything you need - Michel also listens to feedback from guests and responds eg the installation of a dishwasher. The views are wonderful and we enjoyed many evenings watching the sunset from the balcony or having a BBQ. Michel was a brilliant host as others have said and so helpful yet discreet.

My flight was at 10pm and we checked out of our other accommodation on the North of the Island in the morning. We stayed at this Airbnb for only 90 minutes to freshen up and pack our bags properly before our long haul flight. It was exactly what we needed and got a fair price. For us it was better than spending the money on the Airport lounge facilities. Tip: When using sat nav, don't click on the directions button on the Airbnb app like I did. Follow the instructions in Kersley's message for Dodo store! He did tell me but I forgot. Thank you Kersley!

House is absolutely stunning. Very well equipped kitchen, master bedroom is huge with breathtaking views. There are 4 bedrooms in the house, all with private bathrooms. The pool and deck were fantastic. It was so nice to sit there and just look at the ocean! The property is located approx. 10 min walk (2 min drive) from the main street and the beach. A shopping center with a grocery store is also super close. Athalie was very nice, super flexible and helpful. She gave us a detailed tour of the house. It was really nice to meet her. The only thing that was a problem and may be a problem in the future is the roof over the staricase. It is made of glass and unfortunately leaks when it rains. Since the leak was quite big and required a lot of work and effort from us to keep the house dry, we assume that it would probably be fixed very soon, so it may not be a problem anymore.

It was a tropical paradise, felt like home from home. You wake up hearing the ocean, incredible spot for sunset and has everything you need and more. Definitely will be staying here again, would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Christophe's place, he was extremely available and put us in touch with his on-site contacts to make us benefit from a discovery of Mauritius outside the ultra tourist paths. The villa is even more beautiful than in the photos, it is quiet and at the same time close to everything, including the beach and large accesses. It's intimate and very well maintained. Our next stay in Mauritius will be without hesitation in Christophe's villa.

Accommodation was wonderful, close to the beach and shops ! Easily accessible , great loaction and perfect for what we needed. Definitely highly recommend.

We had a pleasant stay in Ti Ziloise, everything was perfect. Very responsive quick. Extra pool to cool off, all nearby, place on private parking. We recommend this listing that has all the comforts. Thank you Pascale, we'll come back.

The place is fairly priced, clean and close to a couple restaurants and the beach. The manual parking gate is a bit of hassle but overall we enjoyed the place.

Great place...very friendly hosts..a home away from home...very clean...bathrooms very upmarket and beautiful furnishings. Great views. The kitchen is very modern..Parking is secure and safe...lovely swimming pool with gym facilties. I will definitely recommend this place to anyome coming to Mauritius.

It’s a great place, close to the beach and a small local fruits market , nice supermarket close by combined with a great host. The host was so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

I definitely recommend this place. Large spacious three-bedroom apartment, well-equipped kitchen, beautiful sea view, close to the city center, but it was quiet around the accommodation. The apartment has multiple balconies, so you can leave your laundry to dry on one and rest undisturbed on another. The apartment had an iron with an ironing board and spacious closets, not just regular shelves. Bil is very kind and attentive. When we arrived, we were very tired, and Bil immediately wondered if he needed to provide something to eat. It was really very nice of him. Even though we were late, yet Bil waited for us to personally show us how everything worked. During the stay, he was wondering if we needed anything. The big advantage is that the host lives nearby. The apartment looks exactly like the pictures. I've never met a better host than Bila. Again, thank you so much for everything.

The family was very friendly, and the apartment was really nice. There were barking dogs in the neighborhood, which might be disruptive to some. Otherwise, there is nothing to criticize, and we sincerely thank the family.

But the real highlight was the private rooftop with a jacuzzi and breathtaking views of Flic en Flac and the mountains—a perfect spot for morning coffee or evening sunsets. The apartment itself was impeccably designed, with a fantastic kitchen, a cozy sitting room, and top-notch amenities. It’s kid-friendly too, making it perfect for families—we’re already planning our return! Now, about Ian: he’s simply the best host we’ve ever had. When minor issues arose (Netflix setup and a rooftop power socket), he resolved them instantly—think electricians on speed dial and a brand-new firestick for Netflix. His attentiveness, warmth, and efficiency turned an amazing stay into a perfect one. Book this place without hesitation—you’ll thank me later!
