Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Fruita

Quaint little house, we had a great stay, no issues. Great communication.

This was our second stay at this house. It was just as great a stay as the first time we stayed there, a couple years ago. The beds and pillows are comfy, and with the blackout blinds and a quiet neighborhood, it's a great night's sleep. The kitchen is the most well equipped kitchen we've encountered in a short term rental. Tons of spices, condiments and other cooking items, along with tons of cooking tools, pans and other useful items that make the place feel homey and easy to make meals in. There are even really sharp kitchen knives. The house is convenient for walking to downtown GJ. And having the secured area, in the house area, to park our bikes was super handy. The big, fenced, backyard is a nice private retreat also. It's a lovely rental, and we'd definitely stay there again in the future.

My friends and I absolutely loved this house. Everything was so accessible and great area. Had lots of fun, definitely will consider staying there again!

We’ve been coming to Grand Junction for a long time. The Rood House was in a great location, very central and just blocks from our local friends. The house is nicely renovated but keeps all the old GJ quirks we’re fond of. The place was spotless. The kitchen was easy to use, and the beds were very comfy. All the bedrooms were a nice size and the bunk room had some great play space. Also, we were traveling with small kids and really appreciated the childproofing touches. We will definitely recommend to friends!

It is clearly evident that Mark and Robin have put a lot of thought and energy into their home. It’s also clear that they have responded very positively to feedback judging by the wide array of needs that are met with every little thing possible thought of and considered

Great place. Location was perfect for our needs. Close to the airport. Quiet. Clean and the garage entrance was a bonus. Nigel was wonderful.

We've stayed at a lot of short term rentals with our kids over the years, with some being more child friendly than others. This house though was the best by far, not just providing the standard baby items like a high chair and baby bed but going above and beyond with baby gates, kid dishes, dark curtains in every room for nap time, stools for every sink, potty seat, kid books in every room, tons of toys and a wonderful outdoor play space with a fenced yard and outdoor toys. It was so easy to stay there with our children and they didn't want to leave! Overall highly recommend, especially for anyone with little kids!

This house is beautiful. This place is exactly what is described in the listing. It’s even better than the pictures if that’s even possible! They were so welcoming. The bed is very comfortable and I love how soft the couches were. I wish we were able to stay longer. We would love to stay here again!

Great little apartment in walking distance to downtown. As other reviewers have stated it's a bit difficult to find using maps but if you follow the owner's directions it's easy. Apartment is comfortable and clean and Bayley and Jeff are super easy to deal with. Would definitely recommend!

Easy ride to downtown! Karen always responded quickly to any questions and I loved the area! I’ll be back!

The idyllic setting and beautiful accommodations of this Airbnb exceeded our expectations, and the special touches throughout the living spaces made our out of town guests feel right at home. The hospitality shown to us by the host was exceptional, making the stay truly memorable. We cannot recommend this Airbnb enough and look forward to utilizing it again in the future!

Great place!!!

The place was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was equipped with nice amenities. The kitchen was a bit small if you’re cooking for more than two people. Coffee bar was equipped far better than the rest of the kitchen. Very limited utensils and no can opener. The unit is next to the building exit so you will hear people going in and out in the second bedroom.

Another wonderful weekend at Kelly's really cool loft ! We'll be returning soon !

The place is very comfortable feels right at home it’s a quiet little neighborhood the AC was shut down for the season but thankfully the weather isn’t bad during this time of year any question I had they responded quickly and friendly would recommend this place to anyone visiting Grand Junction it’s in a nice little area as well.

Deann’s place was perfect for us! It is right across the street from CMU where my son is going to college, so it couldn’t have been more convenient for us. We also visited the Colorado national monument which was only 15 minutes away. The place was clean and cozy. It had everything we needed!

Great place to stay. Getting in and out of the condo was super easy with the deadbolt code. I enjoyed using the hot tub multiple nights. Really helped me relax while I was moving. The neighbors were all friendly and the location is quiet.
