Renovated Rustic Stable set in Rolling Hills

EliseRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I had a beautiful time at the Stables! It’s a getaway from the world at a working farm. I love animals, so I asked to meet some of them, and Yvonne took me to see (and pet!) the milking cows, and explained the entire process to me! The house had traditional charm but was has been updated everywhere that it counts. They have lists of local recommendations but I was happy to get groceries and use the excellent kitchen at the property. I did not have a car and was warned about difficulty getting around but as I was only interested in nature and peace and quiet, getting to and from on public transport was easy enough. Finally, Yvonne was always prompt responding to me and was very friendly and welcoming! I’d love to come back!

Horse Gin, Castlemain Mill, Forest of Dean

MelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Wow what an amazing Air BNB find. Elaine & Tony are amazing hosts...friendly, knowledgeable about the local area & helpful with suggesting places to eat. The welcome pack of homemade Lemon Drizzle Cake & Lemon Biscuits were delicious. Horse Gin is comfy, cosy, very well equiped, had a secure garden that out 4yo retriever loved & is literally a stones throw from the forest. We will definately be back šŸ˜ŠšŸ˜Ž

we had a great stay. the area is very peaceful, but within easy distance of main roads. pubs and local walks. lots to do locally and slightly further afield. the house was exactly as pictured, and very clean. the kitchen had everything we needed, including plastic plates for little ones. hosts were easy to contact but respectful of privacy. we'd definitely book again!

Family Friendly Cotswold Cottage Tennis Walks View

mikeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The cottage was great, in beautiful gardens. We finally played tennis with the kids on the last day and it is sat in the most peaceful picturesque gardens. The holiday was about meeting up with family and all the young children; the cottage was perfect for what we wanted. Jill gave us great recommendations. We visited many of the places she told us about, the zoo, the castle and a few pubs to eat in. Overall great first visit to the Cotswolds. Thanks Mike.

The Apple Barn @ Charingworth House

RebeccaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had the most wonderful stay the night before our wedding. Stephanie was having some renovation work completed on the property and upgraded us to her larger property which was so kind and such a treat for us all. The house was stunning and our guests felt the same. Thank you so much!

The Stables, next to the Cotswolds, near Evesham

IanRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Suited us beautifully as a rabbit hole to join in a local folk festival in Evesham. Everything as promised, but did miss a teapot! But we are old school and like our tea from a pot rather than a bag like the rest of the world. History of Blackminster would be a good thing and even the history of the building. Good stay at an excellent venue

Larch Barn

NicolaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Larch Barn was perfect for myself and 2 friends. We were blown away with the location and space inside and outside the barn. It was a luxury to have our own bedrooms and bathrooms. We enjoyed relaxing in the huge garden after a day exploring the area. The only negative was that we didn’t want to leave!! Would definitely return…

Cotswolds Farm - Beautiful Hay Barn conversion

EllieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a lovely stay for a few nights. It wasn't great weather, so the little games room on site was very useful to entertain the kids. Great, quiet, countryside location but not too far from pubs etc. The barn had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.

The Byre, Stunning Barn Conversion, Nr Stroud

AnneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved our stay at the barn. The place was immaculate and very welcoming. The place itself had everything you need, it is very well though trough.Very nicely done up, there’s definitely an eye for the attention to details. We are a family of 4, 2 little ones under 8, we has some lovely bike rides and lovely teas at the Amberley inn and the Black Horse. We did the Stroud rail trail by bike, going towards Stonehouse,it wasn’t that great we ended up cycling along a dual carriageway, not great with little ones. But toward Nailsworth there’s a little cycling trail, which was really good fun, it’s not big but enough for a couple of jumps, and a few bumps. The property is facing a lovely field with Jasper and Petal the 2 local horses, and they’ll be happy to welcome you in the neighbourhood. The kids were very cosy upstairs and downstairs was great with a toasty fireplace. My hubby is quite tall so the bed unfortunate l’y was on the small side for us, nevertheless the mattress is very comfy

Cosy barn for country escapes

MattRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Such a wonderfully secluded and architecturally pleasing barn conversion, fitted out to a high spec . It has charming features and great style. It was clean and comfortable and rustic style, (just how we like), but maybe not for those wanting a sterile , smooth-walled, sealed box type accommodation. We used it as a base to walk three sections of the Cotswolds Way, walking into the barn on first day and out on second day as the path is only 1/2 a mile away. Thank you Henry and family for sharing your wonderful home.

The Fold Cottage, Hillside Farm Great Wolford

StefanieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Amazing place and the location was beautiful and peaceful! The house was decorated so nicely with lovely features. The farm was so lovely, my kids and I loved walking around each day and seeing the animals - my girls especially loved seeing the sheepdogs Brian and Ash! Beautiful walks in the area and so many nice places nearby to visit with the kids. The nearby towns were gorgeous. Sophie and Shirley were great hosts and always quick to respond when we asked for any kind of recommendation. We really loved the pubs that they recommended - The Red Lion and The Fox Inn and would definitely recommend going! Overall a perfect stay and would love to return again in the future!

Small converted barn providing cosy accommodation

LeaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What a gem of a find. Like others have said, a lot bigger than we expected. Beautiful and warm with a wood burner to make it cosy in the evenings but to be quite honest even though it was cold outside ( we even had snow showers) the accommodation is warm enough if you didn’t want to light the woodburner. Bed very comfy with the smell of lovely fresh bed linen. Stella was at hand with a small query that we had . I would highly recommend this place to stay , tucked away with walks for the dogs just outside the door . My first words when we unlocked the door and walked in were; ā€œ oh this is lovely, we always choose nice places ā€œ. Thankyou Stella

Cotswolds Romantic Getaway in Luxury Barn

StellaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Elena and Bernard were the perfect hosts. The Barn was very easy to find, a beautiful peaceful location next to St Andrews Church. Everything was spotless, one of the best equipped kitchens we've had with Air B&B. Such a comfortable bed, plenty of space to put your things away. Beautiful bathroom, lovely hot shower and fluffy towels. We had a problem with the Internet and Bernard came round straight away and sorted it out for us. We enjoyed sitting in the private courtyard as we were lucky with the weather. Would definitely recommend staying here, and hopefully we will again in the future. Thankyou Elena and Bernard Stella and Chris

The Cider Barn, Luxury for 2 with beautiful views.

PattiRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had the most amazing time at the Cider Barn. The place was very clean, very well equipped and the fridge stocked up with some basic essentials as well as some treats. The sunset views from the barn are fantastic, it is in a remote location with very little sound or light pollution. Richard and Di provided local recommendations for shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed just staying in, cooking and seating by the fire. Richard and Di are fantastic hosts and I would highly recommend their place to anyone looking for relaxation at home away from home.

We stayed for one night (sadly not longer) and had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect, super quiet and set in the most beautiful garden which we definitely would have made more use of had the weather been warmer! Angela came to meet us at check-in and check-out and she gave us some good tips on places to visit. Would definitely be back!
