Our stay was peaceful, a great location and a wonderful place to recharge. I was impressed to get proactive contact from Tom about other properties, directions, check in introductions and local places to go. The lodge was well equipped, clean and cosy. The beach was a lovely short walk away. I highly recommend Tom’s lodge for a family friendly, dog friendly stay.

We had such a lovely stay - the photos cannot quite do the beautiful view justice. The house was spotlessly clean, and the perfect size for five adults, a baby and two dogs. The dogs had such a fantastic time running around the garden whilst the adults enjoyed the hot tub! Andrew's instructions were perfectly clear and he was very helpful and responsive during our stay. There are so many beautiful walks in the area. The house is full of modern amenities - the showers are fantastic. Highly recommended!

My partner & I have just returned from a great break away in Richard & Cathe's beautiful cosy cottage, it's in a great spot very peaceful. on arrival at the cottage we found it to be as described on the website. Great places to visit & we had lovely weather too. Richard is a wonderful host ensuring we had a stress free stay. we would definitely recommend this cottage.

This is in a great location right in the middle of of the old part of Whitby next to the Captain Cook museum with views of the harbour. We loved it. The flat is spacious and warm and comfortable. It was particularly lovely to have biscuits and milk on our arrival and supplies of dishwasher tablets, laundry liquid and toilet paper.

Just spent a weekend here with my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday and couldn’t have asked for better accommodation, location or facilities. Although the space is small, it contains everything you’d need for a couple of nights away and was more than sufficient for us. The hut was decorated beautifully and was very clean. The setting of the hut is idyllic and so peaceful and was perfect to help us switch off for the weekend. The hot tub is a wonderful addition, keeping its warm temperature despite the (slightly) chilly English weather. Although we didn’t use them, there was also disposable BBQ’s available which was a lovely touch. Whilst there we visited nearby towns of Whitby and Sandsend, both around a 20 minute drive away. Throughout the booking process and our visit, the hosts Jay and Callum were very quick to respond and incredibly helpful and welcoming, even giving local recommendations. Thanks to you both for a wonderful weekend!

We had a great stay I this apartment. It was exactly as described, it was very clean, peaceful and comfortable a real home from home. It was within easy walking distance of the town and had restaurants nearby. Parking was easy. This was our first Airbnb stay and the bar is set high for our next one!

My adult son and I stayed for three nights in Brian’s property . The apartment is immaculate and just as described with high quality fixtures and fittings. Beds, linen and pillows particularly stand out. Plenty to see and do within walking distance, frequent bus service from Whitby to surrounding villages and towns as well as train station within walking distance- if you want a different method of transport. For those driving to Whitby the free parking is a real bonus ( residents permit provided with rental property) . If you get the chance to book this place- take it- highly recommend.

A wonderful cottage set in the most beautiful grounds. Easy access to York. Comfortable beds, and space to park outside for charging your car. Thank you being being a wonderful host 😊

Stayed with my gf for my 21st birthday unreal place. Got a beautiful location close too the castle. The flat was clean, spacious with a great garden and view. Hot tub was really nice and the provided lamp was handy. All round it was just a beautiful flat and response time from host was brill. Even saw the sunset while in the hot tub which made for a very memorable moment . Definitely recommend for other couples ✅✅
