We really enjoyed our stay In Cleveleys, the house is in a great spot, close to the beach and within reach of all of the amenities the town has to offer.

its a great place to stay which will give you homely vibes. Located at about 10 mins walk from the beach in a peaceful locality Thanks to Samantha for being responsive and accommodating.

Absolutely loved my stay; I’ve been coming to the Lakes for over 20 years and this place is the ultimate cosy retreat, just what you want to come back to after a long day out walking. The property has everything you need and is very dog friendly; I always come armed with blankets and towels but it makes it so much easier not having to worry about carpets and the coat stand came in very handy for drying things. The location is great; I arrived much later than planned in the dark and found it no problem. It feels very peaceful and private but Windermere high street is within walking distance. I will definitely be back again, thank you for a great stay!

Wonderful place in a perfect location of Keswick. A short walking distance to the shops and the lake. Certainly enjoyed taking the dog out for his walk with all the parks near by and a stroll to see beautiful views of Derwent water. The beds were comfy and the place was nice and cosy. A good variety of entertainment in games and books for the kids as well as ourselves. Having our own parking space was very convenient. We saw a lot of cars taking forever looking for one. I will definitely look at staying again when we next visit 😀

The house is in a beautiful, peaceful location. Close to Derwent water. Lots of space in the house so you don’t feel crowded. We walked along the shore of Lake Derwent and then took a boat trip from Keswick. Perfect mini break just what we needed.

We spent 5 nights here at the end of March and start of April 2025. We were really fortunate with the weather and took full advantage of the wonderful location: scaling Slight Side and Scafell on one day, riding to Coniston via the bridleway on another and 'bagging' most of the Coniston fells on another day via Wrynose Pass. We ate in on a couple of nights and also went to the Wainwright's for some pub grub, as well as Stoves for their evening menu. Simon and Belinda's place is very well situated in Great Langdale for all kinds of walks and rides, food and decent pints. The house itself is a lovely place to return to in the evening with easy parking outside for our van and once inside, everything is spotless, well equipped and cosy. We really appreciated all the helpful information on bike routes and walking routes and spent the late evenings by the fire pouring over the Wainwright books planning the next day's adventures. 100% recommended.

Stayed for 2 nights in the caravan, was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. In a lovely location close to the sea front.

Denise was extremely helpful and approachable. She took the time to send a few messages to ensure we were clear on check in. Denise welcomed us and showed us to the lodge. The lodge was super clean, well equipped and Denise even supplied the basic condiments, tea, coffee, juice, milk with some welcome biscuits thrown in! The lodge was also dog friendly. The kids loved their bed room and we were all very comfortable. We had a great stay and the lodge more than met our needs. We plan to return.

Beautiful little cabin surrounded by stunning scenery, with many great places to visit within a short driving distance. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. Andy provided lots of useful information and tips regarding the local area. We'll definitely be coming back again!

The caravan was lovely and felt like home. Found a lovely easter treat in the fridge 😋 and lots of little homly perks around the caravan which made us smile. Check in instructions were straight forward and detailed directions were given in plenty of time of arrival. Prompt responses from lisa and paul throughout the duration of our stay with useful tips to make life easier. A very enjoyable holiday in a lovely home and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Only slight downside was the shower temperature. (Not sure if its shower related or user error 🤣) However, It did not ruin our holiday or our stay in any way and would definaltly love to come back again in the future for a longer stay to explore more of the surroundings. Cottage is lovely and in a great village, a short walk from a friendly pub that serves great food. Good base for travelling to the lakes and some lovely walks locally. Cottage is very warm and welcoming and our host Liz was brilliant , clear communication and very reactive.

Great place, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. A few seconds walk to the heart of Ambleside but quiet despite the proximity of bars and restaurants. We only stayed a night but being able to park close by and walk out for dinner/ breakfast pastries was a lovely bonus when we usually stay in more remote locations. Thanks for a great stay, we’ll be back!

This is a lovely place to stay in a quiet, peaceful location. Great view from the windows with lots of greenery. Coniston is nearby and a lovely spot for exploring. Comfy beds, clean bathroom and good shower- all the essentials! Hosts were also accommodating when we had a last minute change of plans due to flight times.

This cottage was the perfect spot for our trip to the Lakes. My partner and I, and our two young children, had loads of room as well as everything we needed. We walked into the village several times - there is a decent shop, large play area and one of the best cafes I’ve ever been too (More? The Artisan Bakery). It was a great base for lots of excellent walks and day trips. We’d definitely stay again.

I highly recommend this beautiful house in a quiet and peaceful location. Jill was an excellent host, helpful and informative and the house was spotlessly clean with excellent amenities. The surrounding fields had newborn lambs and free range chickens which added to the atmosphere. if you come across this property when looking for a place to stay, look no further and book it immediately.

I stayed with my Mum and Sister for my Mums 70th birthday trip. We had a lovely stay. The Lodge is absolutely beautiful and actually nicer than even the pictures show. The location is beautiful, breath taking fews and it was a delight to see the animals. Jade and her husband were so welcoming and friendly. We couldn't have wished for a better trip. Thank you

I took my 23 year old daughter here for a couple of days hiking with her pooch.. we had a lovely time, reallt nice and quite location. Amanda gives you plenty of useful information before you arrive. The hot tub stayed nice and hot yoo. We had a reallt lovely time and will definitely visit here again.

Great host and fantastic location for both the supermarket and the hills.
