Holiday rentals in Großer Schachtsee

We were there for an extended weekend. The messages from Sebastian were friendly, very detailed and clearly written. Since we had no questions, the messages seemed to be pre-made. The apartment was very easy to find with Navi and the instructions for check-in were clear and detailed so we had no issues. Apartment was clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. It's a large nice house, very clean and nice fireplace. Vincent provided excellent service for us including Sunday bread delivery and local tips for all the different attractions of the area. It was our first visit to the Harz, and we were surprised by the extent of the beetle damage, many hills laid bare. But Vincent steered us to some beautiful hikes in the valleys, and of course we did the Brocken which is a must for any visit! Go Hexen! Fly!

Great, tastefully decorated and cozy home. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend the accommodation! Easy communication and many excursion tips have rounded off the stay.

We stayed as a family. The apartment is ideal for this. The place was as described. The arrival was great, it was easy to find. We were able to park right in front of the house. Checking in with a lockbox was very flexible. We were then greeted by the host in person and shown everything. Including tips regarding shopping and connection to public transport. In the accommodation there was everything we needed. From covered beds and towels to a fully equipped kitchen, to board games, and even a badminton game for the garden. In the kitchen there were also a few basic ingredients and a very well equipped spice rack. You can easily get to the tram and the city of Magdeburg or shopping by car. Without a car, the accommodation is rather not ideal. It was definitely very spacious and we felt comfortable and found everything we needed. Thanks to the Marko!

Highly recommended! We felt right at home. The apartment was even nicer than in the photos or as expected. And the view… a dream! Communication was also smooth, fast and always very helpful.

Sebastian was a very good host. He responded quickly and was always available. His house is a very well-equipped vacation home with top amenities. Everything you need, everything modern and new and chic. The property is huge and completely fenced. A few times a day the steam train runs through the valley, very idyllic. The house is on three levels, which is also described. It has entrances on the first floor by the kitchen and on the second floor to the living room. The stairs between the floors are quite steep.

Andrea is a very kind and interesting host. There are three of us, with five dogs booked their place. The high-quality furnishings, parquet flooring and absolute cleanliness are definitely noteworthy. There are a lot of curious cats in the house and garden. Our five dogs therefore slept in car boxes, were under constant supervision and leashed. The nightly starry sky is a special highlight with Andrea. Thank you for your hospitality.
