Nature eco lodge holiday rentals in Guatemala

This was my second stay at Alice Guesthouse and I will never stay anywhere else in El Remate. Natalie and the rest of the caretakers and staff are all incredibly accommodating and willing to coordinate anything you may want to do in the area. We went on a stellar horseback ride that she arranged the day before, having the horses come right to the guesthouse at whatever time we wanted. The food and bar is also wonderful with plenty of selections and high quality. Truly a hidden paradise :)

My family and I had a blast !! Birthday weekend vacation.. Awesome views and peaceful surroundings.. Kayaking was fun along with the great food attentive staff.. The cabin was to perfect 🤩

Very cool Stonehouse tucked away on the side of town. Perfect hub for my time in Santiago. Would recommend to a friend.

We had an excellent stay at Mundo Maya. The entire team of staff was incredibly helpful and took great care of us. They went above and beyond to accommodate for our visit to San Jose. This is a very peaceful quiet town with public lake access. Incredibly dreamy, looking forward to my return. The host areanged transportation for us with one of their staff, and we were able to visit Flores island and catch a shuttle to Tikal easily.

Geweldig! Helaas konden we maar een nacht blijven. De host Peter is ontzettend aardig en behulpzaam. Het hotel regelde een bootje vanaf Flores en vervolgens een jeep naar het hotel. De communicatie was perfect. In de tuin rust je uit tussen de bloemen, kollibries en met een geweldig uitzicht over Flores. Het is fijn om bij te komen van de drukte van Flores, terwijl als je zou willen, je binnen no-time met de boot in Flores bent. S'avonds hebben we fantastische tamales gegeten (vegetarische optie aanwezig) in het hotel. We vinden het heel jammer dat we maar één dag konden blijven en raden het hotel ten zeerste aan!

!Un lugar muy lindo y acogedor! Los anfitriones muy atentos y nos ayudaron mucho. Sin duda me volveré a alojar alli, mi hijo quedó encantando. Como pequeñas áreas de mejora, considero que deben informar que es dificil el acceso para todo tipo de vehículo y que es un poco ruidoso porque esta a la orilla de la carretera. Tienen servicio externo de personal para cocinar desayuno, al que considero les deben comentar que dejen limpio todo lo utilizado para concinar, ya que no lo hacen.

Es un lugar muy lindo para disfrutar con la familia, puedes ver a los animales, hay una linda piscina, tiene acceso a la cueva de La Mina y comida muy deliciosa. Jose María estuvo pendiente de nosotros y nos dió un trato 5 estrellas. Recomendamos ampliamente este alojamiento ideal para disfrutar de la naturaleza.

Ame el lugar, la verdad para una escapada esta suuuper lo único es que el acceso para gente sin vehículo es nula tristemente pero exceptuando ese detalle me pareció un muy bonito lugar, sencillo y muy agradable y relajante

tldr - book this place, it’s incredible! We don’t have enough great things to say; this was one of our favorite stays anywhere. The views are stunning, the entire property is so thoughtfully designed, the meals Nila made us were delicious, it’s super convenient to grab a tuk-tuk to San Marcos, all of the staff were wonderful, and Rocío is an amazing host. We also had the best time at the spa - truly a magical little spot.

La habitación es cómoda y tiene un baño agradable, limpio y bonito. El aire acondicionado funciona bien y la piscina está bien para refrescarse. La playa, los restaurantes y locales del área están a 5-10 minutos caminando. Cuenta con estacionamiento.

Un lugar hermoso y bien ubicado para conocer la zona. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas al igual que las demás áreas de la cabaña. Las áreas comunes están muy bien cuidadas y cuenta con todas las facilidades. Queda frente a un muelle de donde se pueden tomar botes a todo el lago sin el congestionamiento de Panajachel. Es un lugar muy tranquilo para descansar pero está cerca de Panajachel por si se quiere un poco más de actividad.

Rocio’s place was a beautiful retreat right on the lake. Stunning views from the bedroom, bathroom, and rooftop area. Super private and great place for some R&R. We took full advantage of all there was to offer (kayaking, massages, private cook). This place will forever be a memorable place for us as we got engaged at the rooftop of the property. All of the staff were amazing and very helpful, especially Edgar! We had a few meals made for us which were really tasty. 10/10 experience.

La casa es demasiado linda las fotos no le hacen justicia es más linda en persona tiene una vista 360 se ven todos los volcanes y el lago increíble es un sitio tranquilo sin ruido excelente limpio lo único malo tomar en cuenta que la carretera para llegar no tiene asfalto son como 15 minutos con carretera en piedra , la señora nora fue tan amable nos atendió demasiado bien en verdad vale la pena volvería a ir sin pensarlo.

excelente lugar para alojarse hay mucha privacidad, instalaciones muy bonitas los anfitriones amables y comida muy deliciosa y bien atendida si volveria muchas gracias recomendaciones; llevar focos recargables y muy buena carga ave es se va luz, cuando llueve aunque es momento de hacer coctaco con la naturaleza

Nos gustó la experiencia. Definitivamente para amantes de la naturaleza y aventura, hicimos el tour a las cataratas. Siempre muy atentos y amables. El lugar es sencillo y acogedor. 💚

Las chicas de recepción de lo mejor. Siempre estuvieron atentas y me hicieron sentir como en casa. Me ayudaron mucho a trasladarme y con recomendaciones locales.
