Nature eco lodge holiday rentals in Guatemala

This was my second stay at Alice Guesthouse and I will never stay anywhere else in El Remate. Natalie and the rest of the caretakers and staff are all incredibly accommodating and willing to coordinate anything you may want to do in the area. We went on a stellar horseback ride that she arranged the day before, having the horses come right to the guesthouse at whatever time we wanted. The food and bar is also wonderful with plenty of selections and high quality. Truly a hidden paradise :)

My family and I had a blast !! Birthday weekend vacation.. Awesome views and peaceful surroundings.. Kayaking was fun along with the great food attentive staff.. The cabin was to perfect 🤩

Very cool Stonehouse tucked away on the side of town. Perfect hub for my time in Santiago. Would recommend to a friend.

We had an excellent stay at Mundo Maya. The entire team of staff was incredibly helpful and took great care of us. They went above and beyond to accommodate for our visit to San Jose. This is a very peaceful quiet town with public lake access. Incredibly dreamy, looking forward to my return. The host areanged transportation for us with one of their staff, and we were able to visit Flores island and catch a shuttle to Tikal easily.

it is an amazing place, with a great view. not too much people and noises. it was everything perfect. the owner helps you with every question.

A really cute, cozy place! The hosts were very attentive and helped us a lot. I will definitely stay there again, my son was lovely. As small areas for improvement, I consider that they should inform that access for all types of vehicles is difficult and that it is a little noisy because it is on the side of the road. They have external staff service to cook breakfast, which I consider should be told to leave everything used to concine clean as they do not.

It is a very nice place to enjoy with the family, you can see the animals, there is a nice pool, it has access to the La Mina cave and very delicious food. Jose Maria looked out for us and gave us a 5-star deal. We highly recommend this place to stay great for enjoying nature.

Love the place, the truth for a getaway is suuuper. The only thing is that access for people without a vehicle is sadly null but except for that detail it seemed a very nice place, simple and very nice and relaxing

tldr - book this place, it’s incredible! We don’t have enough great things to say; this was one of our favorite stays anywhere. The views are stunning, the entire property is so thoughtfully designed, the meals Nila made us were delicious, it’s super convenient to grab a tuk-tuk to San Marcos, all of the staff were wonderful, and Rocío is an amazing host. We also had the best time at the spa - truly a magical little spot.

Beautiful stay, Simone is very friendly and chill. The pool was clean, AC working, comfy beds and lots of hammocks, great place.

A beautiful place and well located to know the area. The rooms are very comfortable just like the other areas of the cabin. The common areas are very well maintained and has all the facilities. It is in front of a pier where you can take boats all over the lake without the congestion of Panajachel. It is a very quiet place to rest but it is close to Panajachel in case you want a little more activity.

Rocio’s place was a beautiful retreat right on the lake. Stunning views from the bedroom, bathroom, and rooftop area. Super private and great place for some R&R. We took full advantage of all there was to offer (kayaking, massages, private cook). This place will forever be a memorable place for us as we got engaged at the rooftop of the property. All of the staff were amazing and very helpful, especially Edgar! We had a few meals made for us which were really tasty. 10/10 experience.

Words cannot describe the view you will get if you stay at Altos del Carmen. We had an amazing one night stay - the whole place feels luxurious including the beautiful food cooked for us by Nora. Unforgettable!

What a great place! It was a wonderful stay. Thanks for the lovely dinner and breakfast! I can recommend this to place to everyone, just take in mind that some pieces of the road are unpaved but you can take the slow drive for enjoying the area!

We liked the experience. Definitely for nature lovers and adventure, we did the tour to the waterfalls. Always very helpful and kind. The place is simple and cozy. 💚
