We had an amazing two-night stay at this cozy cabin in Hemsedal! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the hosts put so much thought into making the space warm and inviting. The cabin is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The location is perfect—nestled in nature yet close to the heart of Hemsedal ski slopes. Whether you’re looking for outdoor adventures or just a peaceful escape, this place has it all. The views from the cabin were absolutely breathtaking, and we especially enjoyed unwinding by the fireplace after a day of skiing. The host was incredibly responsive and kind, providing us with clear instructions. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone visiting Hemsedal. We’re already looking forward to coming back! Thank you for a memorable experience!

We (family with 2 children) stayed a week in the cozy cabin on the lake and didn't want to leave. It's really a dream. We were very hospitably received and will definitely be back.

It was a wonderful holiday in Luster, the accommodation exceeded our expectations in all points. A brilliant location with great excursions. The host was always quick to reach and very helpful. Definitely we recommend this place!

We had a very nice stay with beautiful views over the fjord! The cottage is nicely furnished and equipped with everything. You will find the cottage easiest if you drive from Luster to Skjolden. There is a parking space in the grass along the road. Then with a flight of stairs to the cottage.

Absolutely stunning spot and a really charming hut. It’s not for the lazy or spoiled, but for the brave and adventurous. Jan Erik is a great guy. Highly, highly recommended

We stayed at Linda's farm over New Years and really enjoyed the place, the surrounding nature and the animals on the farm. The house is amazing, like a museum of 1920s-30s Norway but with amenities such as heated floors, hot water tank, air conditioner, very well equipped kitchen etc. There is also a very cosy fireplace where we were relaxing during very cold nights. There is also a beautiful lake nearby which was frozen and where we could go ice skating. Overall, the area is rather secluded, very quiet and dark at night. You can see a lot of stars and polar lights (if you are lucky). I would highly recommend Linda's place!

An attentive host and very quick to respond. Very comfortable house for groups of up to 10 people (not suitable if couples want intimacy, there is only one double bedroom). Quiet place with good views. In winter there is a responsible consumption of the water if you do not want to have problems. We were a group of 10 ice climbers and had no problem. When we return to the Lillehammer area we will stay at Vinh's place again

This was a beautiful spot to spend the night. And got treated to waking up with the snow covering everything which made it extra pretty. Roni was also very kind and supportive getting down the driveway in my car with the fresh snow. Great little spot. Thanks again Roni!

We were a family of 12 people with 5 children from 1-13 years old. It's a fantastic cozy and lovely cabin with a great view. We loved the spa with a steam room and sauna, it was used extensively by adults and children. The lake located right next to the cabin is beautiful and a little cold, but we bathed every day. Beautiful area for hiking with many waterfalls. Tove was sweet and easy to communicate with. Thank you for a wonderful stay in a fantastic unique cabin.

We had a great time in the cozy "old living room" at this great Mjøsgården. The host had fired up in the fireplace and welcomed us with gingerbread and Christmas snacks. Clean, neat and cozy in all rooms. Good beds are always a plus. There is the second time we play this living room and we will be happy to come back.

We found a great cottage where everything at least corresponded to the photos and descriptions! Everything well organized and communicated! We felt very comfortable in the cozy atmosphere! We'd love to come back sometime!

We have often booked cottages-this house was by far the most beautiful!!! The lakeside location was simply magical, the walk across the bridge into the city was a dream. Hege is a great landlady who helps immediately friendly with questions. You feel right at home in their beautiful house. I have also never experienced such a well-equipped cottage. Whether dishwashing tablets, toilet paper, sledges, or skates... everything is available. I hope we are coming back!

Perfect place for what I needed. It was a very comfortable place. Host was super nice and even helped me with detour directions to Oslo since there were last minute road closures along E6 due to unforeseen flooding. Would definitely stay here again!

Kristine was a great host, she took great care of us and made sure we didn't miss anything! She was also flexible, offered many activities, etc., and was always friendly and very accessible! We would come back now and highly recommend staying at Kristine's boat
