Skate Ramp!

Little Nollie has been purpose built to give you cosy stay. We have themed the cabin with little nods to skateboarding. It is beautifully crafted using reclaimed materials and locally sourced and milled timber.
The cabin is unique as you will find a skate ramp on site for your use (We do ask that people adhere to the ramp rules and sign a waiver)
The skate ramp was built during the summer of '24. It is a three foot mini ramp with a top grade birch ply surface. The mini ramp is located just outside of the enclosed garden area and may be used by others during your stay, namely, our eldest daughter. Guests will always take priority however.

Little Nollie can sleep 3 comfortably with the double bed and sofa bed. The bathroom is beautifully appointed offering a hot shower after your day skating, sightseeing or wandering one of the many local beaches. Towels and bed linen are supplied.

Your kitchen gives you that connection to the outdoors you can sizzle your fresh eggs from our hens whilst you listen to the morning bird song! You will be supplied with basic cooking utensils, feel free to ask for anything extra that you require and we will do our best to help.
The living area offers an indoor log burner which is plenty to heat the whole cabin on the chilly nights. You have a sofa to relax on and a window seat with dining table for meals or if you need to plug in the laptop and catch up on some video editing from the days activities.

We welcome up to 2 small/medium dogs. The garden is fully enclosed with a wire mesh fence up to 4ft at the least. Please do not leave dogs alone in the cabin and please pick up after them.

You can relax knowing your pet is safe while enjoying the flames from the firepit. Bats can be seen most nights during the warmer months. You will enjoy watching them flit around while you toast some marshmallows and treat yourself to a glass or two around the fire.

Little Nollie is close to the Historic Cinque Port of Rye, the perfect town for a saunter. The many antique shops, art galleries, cobbled streets will keep you busy, which will then lead you to need one (or more) of the many special restaurants, bistros and cafes.

Camber sands is about 20 minutes from here, with its 5 miles of sandy beach and unique dune system, it is somewhere to not be missed. You can take a dip or opt for something more thrilling and book yourself a kitesurfing lesson at The Kitesurf Centre or some windsurfing at Rye Watersports.

You are spoilt for choice of things to do and places to eat close by. Many beautiful national trust properties, Bodiam castle is just 10 minutes drive! Kent and East Sussex Railway can take you by steam train to Tenterden where you can visit the many independent quaint shops. Hastings is nearby with its seaside attractions and unique old town.

It would be rude to not mention the local skateparks. Little Nollie is half an hour from Source Park, an hour from F51 and 1 and 1/2 hours from Revolution in Broadstairs. We also have the numerous outdoor parks that are well worth a visit.

Guest access
The enclosed garden is all yours during your stay. The woodland opposite your cabin is free for you to walk your dog, however you may find other people walking their dogs or children playing. If you wish to leave the property on foot you can exit via our woodland driveway to walk along the lanes and explore the footpaths.
You have shared use of the mini ramp during your stay.

Other things to note
You will be staying next to our own home but in your own private detached cabin with enclosed garden overlooking the skate ramp and woodland.

We do have chickens and ducks and our own dogs and children. They all make some noise at times. We do put the cockerals to bed at night to try and keep them quieter in the mornings. We are also close to farmland and as such harvest time can cause some tractor noise.

Little Nollie is accessed via a very small camping and caravanning site. This is not affiliated to Little Nollie. This can at peak times, such as bank holiday weekends and school summer holidays attract some extra happy people that may want to share the woodland with you.
