Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in East Sussex

A lovely birthday weekend destination. 10/10 location and amenities, 12/10 host who went above and beyond to make sure we were alright. Very much looking forward to coming back again!

We had a great long weekend here with all the family. The house is beautiful decorated and feels luxurious, with lots of fun details to explore. All the beds are large and very comfortable and every floor has bathrooms which was very convenient. We also loved the dining table with the lazy Susan at the centre. It's also a stone's throw from the shops, pubs etc of the old town.

We were looking for a special home to celebrate the festive period with friends and this house surpassed all our expectations. From the easy check in to the stunning views and the incredible interiors, everything has been considered for guest comfort and this is a truly luxurious experience. Spotlessly clean, high quality linens, extremely comfortable beds, we felt like we were in a 5 star hotel but with so much more privacy. We were also so impressed by all the useful kitchen utensils and furnishings. We didn’t need to bring anything ourselves other than food. The only small suggestion would be to add shampoo and shower gel. They have hand wash all supplied and lots of towels for beach and home. We loved it so much and created very special memories despite staying in the middle of a storm - the house was our haven of warmth, fun and laughter. We cannot recommend this home enough! We had a fantastic stay at the barn this November. Michelle was a great communicator for any questions I had which made the whole process effortless. The owners are lovely and the barn exactly as described. Hoping to return in the Summer to be able to take advantage of the pool.

A tremendous place to stay and a very good host. We really enjoyed staying at this very nice and well equipped house. Good location and the parking space is really helpful. I would Recommend this place to anyone and would be keen to stay here again myself!

What a beautiful house - even better than the pictures. Everything was perfect for our girls weekend away. We had a bedroom each which was a luxury. Tracy met us at the property to let us in but left us to our own devices. She’d been very responsive so know that we would have been able to contact her if we’d needed to, but everything was as described so we had no issues whatsoever. We enjoyed the fires in both the lounge and dining room which had been set up by Mark and Tracy in advance. Comfy beds, lovely neutral uncluttered spaces. All in all just a fab place. 15 min walk into the heart of St Leonard’s which has some great shops and restaurants.

Wonderful stay. Steve and Diane were very responsive and even provided a nice welcome basket. Well kept home and has all facilities that you need.

Madelaine and Peter are exceptional Hosts and we had a very relaxing Christmas Break at their Lovely Apartment by the Sea! Everything we needed was at hand both indoors ,the kitchen is well equipped and then locally in Town,with its Great Butchers,Bakeries and FIshmongers. Thank you Madelaine….Like Arnie say,s “We will be Back”😉

Thank You, June - it was the second time we have stayed with you this year and it really feels like a "home from home". Quiet and private but close enough to the Marina or the City when we needed to be out and about. For a long weekend away with lots to do, it was the perfect "retreat" when we needed to recharge the batteries between events Everything was perfect ! Thanks again and see you soon Chris & Alison

The place was so scenic and beautiful. We stayed in most of the time as it was so comfy as well. The terrace balcony was so beautiful as well and probably our favorite part. The hotub was so wonderful as well. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay, this is the best getaway :) Jo was so efficient and helped us in every way. She made sure everything was ready for us :) We loved chatting to her and she seems like such a positive light. We loved meeting her cute cat as well haha!

Beautiful two story flat in excellent Kemptown location. Close to amenities. Perfect for family visiting. Easy to find, get in and smooth communication with host. Would recommend.

We love the location. everything is walkable. The size is perfect for the 5 of us (adults). The place is clean with pretty much everything we needed for our stay. I love the fact that it's on the first floor and very quiet. John allowed us to check in a couple of hours early and for that I'm grateful being that I took the red eye flight from the US. I was able to take a nap before going around town. Check in instructions are very clear. John and Allison are pretty quick to responds to all my questions/concerns.

We loved our stay at Caroline’s place, perfect for our girls trip! The flat was beautifully appointed and very comfortable, we felt right at home. It was easy to get there by train. It was a charming character place, nicely renovated, and being an older place noise does tend to travel a bit from the above flat (I think we had a particularly noisy group staying at the same time as us as didn’t see any other mention of this with previous guests). We appreciated Caroline being really responsive about this to resolve things! Particular highlights - cooking in the well supplied kitchen, waking up to the view of the sea, lovely linen on the beds, great water pressure in the shower! Would love to return in summer.

We had a great time staying at this Airbnb for the weekend. The place was comfortable, well-maintained, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!

A great flat well situated. It’s less than 10mins walk to Hastings train station and 5 mins walk to the sea. Local surroundings include ‘The American Grounds’ a great collection of cool independent cafes, bars and shops. The flat is great; within a row of terrace houses with lots of old charm. Packed with tech gadgets to make the stay easy and fun! My girls enjoyed asking Alexa to raise the blinds, play music and more. Lots of character too. A great little garden which was perfect for our dog to use - but too cold for us I’m afraid. Dan was wonderful and very accommodating considering our last minute booking. He was very generous with food and drinks in the flat - we did help ourselves to a bottle of Prosecco! (Thanks Dan!). He was also very flexible with check in and out times - greatly appreciated! A great stay - can’t beat the location!

Staying at David's place was so easy with lots of hi quality amenities . What stood out for us was how comfortable the beds are. My wife slept better than she has for ages.

Lovely homely and cosy property and we felt right at home. There was lots of little extras to help us, especially as we got there late. Paul is very welcoming and down to earth. He has a wealth of knowledge of the area and is very helpful. We hope to come back soon . We highly recommend and you will not be disappointed.

Myself and a friend stayed here for 3 days and it was the perfect getaway- everything we needed was within walking distance and overall the flat was in a nice, quiet area. The flat itself was cozy and clean, lots of finishing touches that made it feel like a home away from home- would stay here again and recommend to anyone else needing a place to stay in Brighton!

Such a lovely home, right by the beach and had such a Brighton feel to it! Thank you Chris for having us it was a pleasure to stay.

We needed a temporary home for a month while we were in between places and Nicky’s was just the place! Well equipped, very spacious and comfortable bed - a perfect stay! Nicky helped with everything we needed and was so responsive. Was sparkling clean and we felt right at home and the outside patio is a real bonus! Would recommend
