Great place to stay when skiing at local ski hills. Host was extremely responsive, allowed changes before regarding pets. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking, house was very clean, bed was very comfortable, hot tub was an added bonus after a long day on the hill. Had an issue with the property that was dealt with very fast. Would recommend 100%

We had a great time! Nice location …walking distance to the hotel pub where you can get a great fish fry/ food. Family friendly. You can also use the hotel pool for a small fee. Great for kids!

Had a great time connecting with the family. Hosts were very friendly and responsive. Right on a lake which the older kids/young adults enjoyed during our winter visit.

The photos don’t do this location justice! The accommodations were top notch, and Jeanne makes you feel like family! Worth every penny! Will be back again to show more friends and family this amazing place!

Absolutely loved Harvest Moon Cabin! How peaceful it was, just a comfy place to be. We saw lots of wildlife too! Bears, deer, it was so fun! The northern lights even came out for a while. I would love to come back someday! Thanks for a great stay.

This place was amazing. We had an amazing and relaxing stay. Everything felt right at home & we felt so safe. 100% will recommend & definitely will come back! Walking by the beach was so peaceful & the yard was gorgeous.

Absolutely beautiful cabin on the lake! Great layout for those who want to go to bed early and those who want to stay up late. Bedrooms upstairs, community space downstairs. The hosts provide guests with all necessary information and then some. Great place to stay for 6 grown adults!

Beautiful place in a secluded area on Moose Lake. We were there in winter and it was so quiet and peaceful. Nice newer-built lake cabin. All the basic necessities, including internet. Small, simple kitchen (no dishwasher). No laundry. Internet. TV. Nice wood-burning fireplace! Comfortable for one or two couples and two small kids with its three sleeping areas. Would rent again.

Amazing stay! We wanted to get away from the city for a long weekend and Dylan’s family is from the Superior area. It was great being on the flowage and so private! We went to Superior and Duluth on Friday and ice fished on the flowage Saturday. Caught my first Northern and Dylan won a 6 person ice fishing shack. Check in and check out were so easy and Eric and Shelby were so flexible and responsive. We had an additional afternoon so we figured we’d ask for an extra day at the beginning of our stay and they were able to accommodate! Will definitely be back - next time in the summer. ☺️

Great location! We’ve been doing this trip for 5 years and we’re never able to bring our pup who loves the UP and the snow so we really appreciated that we could bring him this weekend. The place was clean and had plenty of space for the 10 adults we had. The kitchen was fully stocked and allowed us to do all the cooking we wanted. Would stay again!

The little cabin by the river was the perfect getaway for our weekend birding trip. We were able to easily use it as a home base to venture in to Two Harbors and Sax-Zim Bog. Perfect location!

We had a very peaceful stay, which is just what we wanted. It’s beautiful there @ Teal lake. Victoria was very, very helpful with anything we needed. We will definitely go again.

We had a great time at the copper squirrel! The outside temperature was frigid, with lows in the negative teens, but the wood stove was extremely efficient and kept us warm for our entire stay. There was a great sledding hill we had every intention of utilizing, but the cabin was so cozy and we opted to enjoy relaxing on the couch and listening to music. The bed was so comfortable!! Highly recommend to those vacationers that enjoy getting away completely and having your own space. Kristin was available by phone call and text, but didn’t stop by, leaving us to relax completely! The perfect host for me! Helpful, responsive, friendly, accommodating, and respected our need to be in complete serenity. Plus, I could bring my pup along! Major bonus!! Highly recommend this place for a couple or a single. It’s got a romantic atmosphere, eclectic and tasteful decor throughout the home and the exterior, and the epitome of feeling relaxed and at peace. ❤️

Another awesome stay at Start Line Inn for Birkie week! We look so forward to our annual visit to the beautiful Northwoods! Mike and Elizabeth are so accommodating and proactive with their responsiveness! The icing on the cake this year is Mike waxed our skis-and made them magic…for four different races through the week! Can’t wait until next year! We may bring our dog next year and have Mike wax our skis for the BarkieBirkie😃🐶 too! Colleen & Greg

Wonderful trail side place. Loved being in nature with more than your standard camping amenities. Beautiful cabins, perfectly clean bathrooms and showers, sauna, accessible firewood, quiet, right on the trails — and lots of hooks inside! Loved everything about it!

The cabin was cozy and clean. It had kitchen tool essentials (silverware, plates/bowls, salt/pepper/tea, cleaning supplies). The bathroom was clean and a short, pretty walk from the cabin. Nice for a winter getaway in the woods but within a short drive to Washburn or other points on the South Shore.

Great little cabin for 4 adults. Very comfortable and clean. Host was very quick to respond and friendly. Had everything and looked just like the pictures. Super easy to find and very peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying at Samantha's property. Communication was great, the cabin was clean and super cozy and had everything that we needed. This is a little gem up north and we would love to stay here again. The lake is beautiful and the rental comes with kayaks and other water toys. We kayaked to the local restaurant which was easy to get to and a very pretty, short paddle away. We loved sitting by the fire and they had ample firewood provided. Can't say enough about the experience!

Kevin's place was perfect in every way! The Homestead cabin had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable and the perfect size for us. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family!

Very cozy house in a beautiful setting. Location is great halfway between Bayfield and Cornucopia

As advertised. Very well maintained cabin on the lake. Amazing views of the lake through the massive wall of windows. Plenty of towels. An abundance of fire wood for the awesome wood burning stove. We had two couples stay for an extended weekend and there was plenty of space. We snowshoed out onto the lake and across to Crownhart Island. Visited various people ice fishing. Only 30 min from Superior and 35 min or so from Duluth. Highly recommend. Our group wants to come back up in the summer! A lot of attention to detail and great communication by hosts, David and Vanessa.

Great winter stay for the Birkie at Sharon's cabin. Overall it was a great experience. Cabin was better equipped and larger than the listing let on with plenty of kitchen appliances. Plus we were able to get pretty consistent cell data coverage (both AT&T and T-Mobile). Beautiful little secluded area that we would definitely come to again. Sharon was a great host and very responsive to messages.
