Holiday rentals in High Green

We had a wonderful stay for my Dad's 70th birthday. The cottage was big enough that we didn't feel on top of each other and was well appointed with everything we needed. The location was perfect with ample parking in the Market Square and within walking distance of all the village amenities. We will definitely return for our next Peak District holiday.

Lovely location in a tree lined street. Modern stylish and quality furnishing and appliances and well equipped overall. Hepworth Gallery, The Arthouse and Yorkshire Sculpture Park all worth a visit. We felt very comfortable in this spacious light and modern apartment. Roof lights allow amazing views and spectacular sunsets. Also you feel like you are in amongst the trees being at the top of the building. The large entrance hall in the flat is a great place for Qi Gong and Yoga. There is a comfortable work area again with great views.

We had a great stay in Bakewell. A very nice setting, ideal for exploring the Peak District and surrounding area. Excellent communication from the host, and very well organised and well equipped property. We would certainly recommend.

absolutely lovely stay. Everything was perfect and clean! They had supplied us with a cleaning products which is very helpful and even had a little hot chocolate station which was a lovely add on. Would 100% recommend and plan on staying again ☺️x

We had a fabulous family stay at The Nook. The cottage is well located, cute and had lots of amenities that made it just like home. The cottage is close to the centre of town which made it nice and easy to enjoy the walks and pubs. We would definitely return. The breakfast at the original Bakewell pudding shop was lovely and had wonderful food options.

We had a great stay at Lavender cottage! It's in a lovely quiet location but only a short walk to shops and pubs. The cottage was well equipped and had everything we needed. We had a very comfortable stay! Thanks Ruth.

A great short stay at this lovely cottage. Fantastic views and a cosy feel. Location was very convenient in the village very near to the fabulous pub and lovely walks. The cottage was very well equipped with everything needed.

We enjoyed a wonderful 3 night stay and were blessed with the most beautiful weather. The location of the cottage was ideal and the lounge and garden enjoy spectacular views over the valley and hills. The accommodation makes maximum use of the space and is functional and extremely comfortable. There was plenty of room for our party of 4 adults and the convenience of shops, pubs and cafes only minutes walk away made the location ideal. Parking outside the cottage was a little tricky and we were happy to use the car park at the top of the village, only a few minutes walk away. The suggested rates are minimal and can be paid online or via an honesty box.

I have stayed in a quite a few Airbnbs and found Mereview cottage to be absolutely outstanding! The location is idyllic with amazing views of the mere and a local pub that provides great food. The cafe (a converted smithy) also deserves a shout out with top notch all day breakfasts!! Mereview cottage was beautiful and tastefully decorated with a lot of thoughtful additions including a selection of teas and a Bakewell pudding on arrival! I cannot wait to come back and spend more time in beautiful Derbyshire, especially from such a stunning base ! Thank you to such great hosts !
