Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Hilo Bay

Fantastic stay — definitely a location we’d love to come back to. Tulpe was an excellent host in all facets.

We had a great stay. Beds were so comfy. Best ones during our whole trip. Jenny was responsive and helpful. Location is great. 5 min drive to a lot of restaurants as well as the farmers market. Would def recommend and stay again. Mahalo Jenny!

Tony and his wife were wonderful, gracious hosts. The place was super cute, clean and quiet, with the exception of the coqui, which I didn't mind because they reminded me of spring. It was an easy walk to downtown which was convenient for dining and shopping. If you are staying in Hilo, I highly recommend this place.

everything was great. very friendly and helpful. having a washer and dryer right next to us was a plus. close to lots of food and beaches. anywhere from 15 min away to an hour away you choose!!

We had a wonderful time at the Banana Cabana. It exceeded all of our expectations. We are the types who go out and explore all day, and just want to come "home" to a comfortable haven. This was just that. It was a little paradise of birds, nature, and quiet. You couldn't even see neighbors, if there were any. Some might need night life, but we don't. In our little private lanai, we came home to a glass of wine and charcuterie to talk about the day. Morning coffee out there was wonderful too. I would rent this place again in a heartbeat. Oh, and while we really aren't beach types, we did drive down to the ocean (maybe about a mile or less) and watched the waves one evening (AMAZING). The cabana offers all the beach stuff necessary if that is your thing. All in all, we give this place a 10!!

This place was just what we needed for our stay. It was easy to get to the Volcano National Park, other sites and restaurants. I would definitely recommend.

Such an amazing place to stay! Felt extremely comfortable and welcome the entire time! Very quaint and incredible! I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to stay on the east side of Hawaii! Many mahalos!

Amazing location and great hosts! Had a great time at Kathy's place - perfect spot to explore the east side of the island. It's close to downtown Hilo, and both Volcano National park and Mauna Kea are a little over 30 minutes away. Would definitely consider again. One word of caution, sensitive sleepers should bring earplugs - the house is in a residential area with plenty of wild chickens. They can get loud in the morning.

We had a wonderful stay at the Wailuku house! The place is exactly as advertised with a very cool Japanese theme. The house is quite large! Really big for just the two of us. The yard and screened in lanai are great places to relax and enjoy the Hilo sun and gentle rain. The neighborhood is quiet and a treat to walk around. We had no issues at all and hope to come back again sometime!

Wonderful place to stay. As a family of 6, there was plenty of space for everyone. Stocked kitchen and laundry was a plus. Super close to Volcano NP. Just the gate lock gave us issues trying to shut it-a little sticky.

I believe this was my 4th stay here, which sums up how pleased I am about this Airbnb!! I really like the lanai with a view and cool breezes and the quiet of the neighborhood and the friendly geckos who joined me for breakfast and the easy 20 minute walk to beach. Ive stayed at several airbnbs in the area. Certainly you can find more luxe and more amenities, however you may not find the kind of value the Dawnna and Andy’s place offers. I am sure to be back. Mahalo for another great stay!

I love how the place was decorated of the Star Wars theme. My boys are huge fans of the franchise. The kids had lots of fun seeing all the decor, playing with toys, and adults played the board games. The house was very spacious for a group of 11 of us. The house is cool because the lava burned down the house next door and there are steam vents now in front and all around the property making it look like a land from Star Wars. There was A/C in the home which was great because it can get warm and humid sometimes. There was still hair in the shower in the main bedroom but I think it’s because the hosts maybe live there and it was booked last minute. The host greeted us and showed us the place quickly and they made sure we had everything we needed. The house was pricey but super cool for one night and worth it to see my boys nerd-out for one night and just be in awe with all the cool decor.

We had a fantastic stay at Megan’s place! She was an excellent host, always quick to respond and very helpful. The house was well-maintained. One of the highlights was the backyard balcony—the view was absolutely stunning! We loved having our meals there and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay!

Great place to stay. Easy check in and just up the road from Hilo. My family (ages 9,6,3)and I enjoyed the little hike to the beach just down the road. The place kept plenty cool even without AC. Other than a few blinds broken or missing, this place was clean and in really good shape. We would definitely stay here again.

Sabrina’s place is fully stocked up and lots of supplies for you. There was 2 pack n play, 2 booster seats and a high chair and 2 strollers. All looked brand new. Washer dryer was also new and didn’t stink like other places. The extra family room with bunk was very nice lotion for a group with kids. We had 3 kids and plenty of space for them to explore. She let us go in 15 minutes before and it was amazing since we had toddlers and elders wanting to relax from a long trip. A little far from town, but if you leave before or after main traffic it’s not a bad drive. Would stay again!!!

Our two week stay at Maricel’s place was outstanding. This was our second time using her home and we will definitely use it again when we visit Hawaii. It was very peaceful and private. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. My mother who uses a walker to get around had no problem in the home. Maricel is a great host who doesn’t bother you unless you need her for something. Maricel, thank you for hosting us and we look forward to the next time.

Great locations right next to the beach! The condo was as advertised and we had no issues during our stay. Condo was clean. Would definitely stay there again when in Hilo

Great place, literally paces from a BEAUTIFUL lagoon and beach filled with turtles and fish. Nice quiet road dotted with 4 or 5 beaches/parks, and about a 3 mile drive to the shops/grocery stores to keep the kitchen stocked. Also had a French press so we could enjoy our fresh Kona coffee every day.

I was there with my boyfriend for the week. The location was great! Within walking distance g distance to great restaurants and the best farmers market I’ve ever been to. The views are absolutely stunning. Watching the sunrise in the morning was so beautiful. We felt right at home. I would definitely stay there again! Thank you so much Carla and Joe! It was a little slice of heaven there.

Concierge service amidst a natural lagoon setting with all the amenities one can just enjoy a worthwhile experience from the two lanais!

Our guest apartment was beautifully furnished, clean and so comfortable! The view of Hilo Bay was spectacular. Loved the place especially the lanai and view.

Lovely and spacious for my 3 month stay for work. All the amenities that I needed for cooking and cleaning, communal laundry in bldg, good wifi coverage. Safe and walkable to downtown which I loved. Small amount of noise with neighbours and ants/insects which are expected to some degree being in an apt bldg, in the tropics. I would definitely stay there again:)

This place is so cute! So comfy and nice and the pool is great. A lot of amenities in the apartment and close/convenient to the airport and shops. And they’re so nice.
