Apartment holiday rentals in Iceland

The apartment was perfect. Comfortable, quiet and perfectly located in the center of the city. We were able to easily walk everywhere. It has everything you need for your stay, including a fully equipped kitchen if you decide to have dinner there (especially convenient at the end of a long day exploring all the wonders of Iceland). Regina and Olof were the perfect hosts. They gave us great recommendations and were very responsive and kind. I highly recommend this AirBnb - and hosts!

We stayed in Fridleifur's apartment for a week. The apartment was exactly as described, very comfortable, modern, and spotless. It’s located in a peaceful, yet central part of the city, making everything easily accessible. The host was very helpful and readily available throughout our stay. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time in this cozy apartment. It was a nice location to be outside the city but have easy access to main roads and shops. We chose this place as it was walking distance to our friends' house. Heba's decor is very pleasing and the kitchen had everything we needed. The space is well designed for relaxation and practicality. It was easy to park our rental car in the driveway.

I can't say enough good things about the studio: spotlessly clean, comfy bed, well-stocked kitchen, huge shower, plenty of storage, and a big TV. It's set back from the street and very quiet. The neighborhood is very safe and I was comfortable walking alone. It was the perfect base for exploring Iceland. Being so central, you can walk to the main attractions easily. It's 5 minutes max to Bus Stop #9 for tours/Flybus and one block to Laugavegur with great restaurants and shops. It could not be better situated for sightseeing. While I didn't meet Roald, I was in constant contact with Sigurthor before and during my trip. He was incredibly patient, responded to all my questions within minutes, and provided great recs. He was unfailingly kind and an absolute delight of a human being. It felt more like staying at a friend's house instead of an Airbnb. I highly recommend the Cozy Studio. We had a great stay in Selfoss. The condo is tucked into a complex of sorts. There is a playground very close which was great for our kids. The condo was very cozy, clean and comfortable. We were out sightseeing most of our time and this was a great “home base”. Not much to see right around the condo but that didn’t bother us. The condo had everything we needed and more. Thanks for a great stay!!

Place was really nice and clean! Room window had a nice view of the city and we manage to see the northern lights!!!!! Just right on the driveway! It was only our 2nd night in iceland

The location of Gunnloo's flat is perfect. You have everything on your doorstep. Great cafe's and bars all within a 5 minute walk. It's also very close to Bus numbers 14 and 6 which are the 2 main pick of points for excursions and for the airport pick-up drop. I wouldn't stay anywhere else as it was very convenient. The only room for improvement is the arrival instructions. We wondered around in circles for a while when we arrived as we couldn't locate the flat. The number system is confusing. So it would help to know that the flat is located on the corner above the tattoo shop, up the stairs on the first floor. Besides that, this is a gorgeous flat that I highly recommend. Such a cozy and welcoming stay! There were informative notes left for us and Irena was very responsive whenever we reached out to her about anything.

The apartment corresponds 100% to the description and photos. The location is brilliant, only a few meters to the port and many restaurants, pubs & bars. If you want to discover Reykjavik the apartment is really perfect. There was even water, chocolate wafers and cookies to welcome you. A clear recommendation from us if you want to explore Reykjavik, especially since you can easily find a parking space in the immediate vicinity.

Olafur lists his response time as 11 hours, but he was usually much quicker than that. His was a nice place accessible to many restaurants and not far from the downtown area. Quiet at night, lots of parking, a great home away from home.

Lovely place in the heart of town. Great to come home to something warm and welcoming after being out in the cold. We loved our stay here.

Eyrún place was perfect for our trip! It was located so well, about a 30-45 mins drive from the airport, 15-20 mins drive to Reykjavik, and close enough to drive the Golden Circle in a day. It is also close to many convenience stores and a Costco. The place was beautifully decorated and clean. Check-in/out & parking was easy. Eyrún was very responsive and nice Overall a great stay!

Hannes place was perfectly situated for us. It was easy to get to all our destinations, we had a rental car, and it was quiet and peaceful after our day’s adventures each day. Hannes was great with communication and had great suggestions on restaurants and attractions. The unit was super clean and had everything we needed for our week. We even got to see the Northern Lights right above the unit on our last night there! Amazing! Hopefully we will get a chance to return to Iceland and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

The apartment was absolutely gorgeous and the amenities made our stay super comfortable and stress free. The host was responsive and left clear instructions for everything we wanted to know about. Would love to stay again if I’m ever in Iceland again!!!

We loved this place! Stayed for 3 nights and took day trips to see many sights. It snowed a lot and we are from South Florida so it was scary driving but they kept our parking and drive out plowed and walkways clear. We very much appreciated that. The thermal pools and steam room were awesome but definitely a drive and not a walk in that weather. The horses were beautiful and the dog (Kika?) was friendly and fun. We hoped for the northern lights and only got to see a small line the last night but the trade off was that we got to experience the beautiful snow everywhere and it was stunning and peaceful. Wish we could have stayed longer!!

The apartment looked exactly as represented in the photos and was lovely and clean. The area felt very safe and was a short walk from the Hotel Lotus where tours picked us up from. The host qas very friendly and communicated well with us and was very responsive. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Absolutely the best place we stayed in Iceland. We visited 3 places while we were in Iceland, this home was the one that felt like a real home. The picture don't even do it justice. Rooms are great, heated, bathroom has everything you can need and so does the kitchen,that is so beautifully equipped.

Really enjoyed my stay at Halldór's apartment - very cosy and well decorated. 20 minute walk to anywhere in downtown Rekyjavik, and an even shorter walk to the coast. Halldór made himself available for check-in, and was helpful thereafter. Bonus points for plenty parking spaces being available on street. Would recommend!

Very spacious and cozy apartment. Great set up in the kitchen & living room. Solid 2 night stay doing the ring road. Laundry was a major plus.

Tolli’s place was clean, cozy, and had the most incredible views through the big glass windows. Watching the aurora from bed was an unforgettable experience. Tolli himself is an amazing host, full of warmth, stories, and incredible talents. The fact that he and his dad built the house themselves makes it even more special. If you’re lucky, you might get to see more of the house, and I highly recommend letting him show you around! It’s also close to many beautiful natural attractions, and the food in the area doesn’t disappoint. One of my favorite parts of the stay was meeting his happy, lovable puppy. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay with a great atmosphere, this place is definitely worth it!
