Holiday rentals with a sauna in Iceland

This is the perfect location in Reykjavik’s West side. Central to everything in that neighborhood yet peaceful. Linda is a great host and responded to all my inquiries right away. Really loved the place. Perfect for one person and enjoyed the guitar and piano. Would stay here again.

Staying at NORR Apartment was absolutely outstanding. The apartment is located in the charming area of the old harbor in Reykjavik, so we could enjoy a quiet atmosphere and a beautiful view every day. The location was also ideal for whale watching tours – the harbor from which the cruises departed was literally a few steps from the apartment. The interior of the apartment delights from the first sight – modern but cozy, decorated with a great sense of style and attention to detail, was perfectly developed – the living room was conducive to relaxation after a day of sightseeing, and the private sauna was a wonderful addition, especially after colder Icelandic evenings. The bedroom with the king size bed was very comfortable and the spacious balcony is a great spot for morning coffee. Very convenient location for exploring the Snæfellsness Peninsula. Since you can park right outside the front door, moving in is easy. The host responded quickly to any concerns. The only drawback is that the shower wall doesn’t extend far enough, resulting in a wet bathroom floor.

Had a quick 2 night stay and this was a perfect location. Minutes from the airport, restaurants and grocery. House had thoughtful items that made the trip easier (lots of charging converters, gaming for the kids, etc). Great stay.

We stayed in a cottage. Elsa is very friendly and personable. We were interested in a sheepskin rug so she showed us her workshop and described the process. It was very interesting

Folks should quit complaining about the smell of the water. Get over it, that is the natural smell of the minerals in the water. The spa was marvelous and gorgeous. Reminded me of Gaudy.

This is the perfect place to stay. Beautiful views, quiet setting - just what we were looking for after long days of hiking.

It is exactly the peaceful escape we were looking for! Wished we had time to spend one more night to truly immerse into the surroundings. Wished our night had a clear sky for the northern light. The sauna was to our rescue under a windy Icelandic night. Hope to visit again in the future.

Asta was so helpful with local recommendations, and her house was clean welcoming. We had everything we needed right at our fingertips. The sauna and hot tub were great for relaxing. The location was perfectly central for exploring the Reykjavik peninsula.

We absolutely loved Nadia’s house! Perfectly situated on the peninsula with epic views of the mountains and breathtaking Icelandic landscape. The house is perfect for families with plenty of space, comfortable and homely. All topped off with a sauna that is perfect for the end of the day. Would thoroughly recommend a stay.

Had a great time despite we were only for one night. Beautiful accommodation and Anita is a very friendly host. The animals around the farm made it great. To top it off the two dogs had two puppies which was very cute. Definitely a recommendation to stay!

Great spot in a very calm area of Selfoss.

This place is great! Very cozy and close to the golden circle and Selfoss, which has great restaurants! We especially enjoyed the cozy vibe of the interior furniture and kitchen. We also really enjoyed the hot tub and cold plunge combo. Magnús was really responsive when we had questions, and even got on the phone to walk us through how to fill the hot tub and turn off the lights so we could better view the aurora!

We chose this home because it was affordable and minutes from family that we were visiting for the first time. We were concerned it was too good to be true; however, it exceeded our expectations! The views from the driveway were stunning, mountains and Northern lights. We were traveling with 5 adults and 3 children. Had plenty of space and the kids enjoyed the toys!!! Enjoyed the walking trails and playground close to the home.
