Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ilmenau

We felt very comfortable in the Sweden house. There was everything you needed to make yourself comfortable. Amenities are very good and nothing was missing. We particularly liked the peace and the view. There is a lot to do and the location is optimal. We will definitely come back.

Clean and spacious apartment in a small village close to Hainich National Park, with full equipped kitchen, nice living room with toys for the children.

We stayed there with 4 adults and 2 small children and had a very nice and relaxing stay. Everything we needed was there. Also crib and chair. There was enough space for everyone and the equipment was of a very high standard. Also it was very clean and the garden is totally beautiful. We will be happy to come back. 😊

We stayed two nights with dog in the beautiful bungalow and it was great! The private location and the opportunity to spend the whole day in the forest were wonderful. The sauna is of course another plus as well as the fireplace in the living room. Fully equipped kitchen,very nice bathroom and the great living area complete the stay. Attention: the stairs to the upper floor are very very steep - our dog did not go up. Otherwise everything is fenced and flawless. We will be happy to come back - thank you!

We spent a week of New Year's Eve vacation with 6 adults and 6 children in this beautiful house. The quiet location, with plenty of room to play, romp and walk convinced us. The premises offered opportunities for playing, resting, maintaining community - at the same time. The hosts were super friendly and always available. We felt completely comfortable in this very well-equipped, quaint old house. With a toddler's sleep, the creaky floorboards and doors took some getting used to - but you'll be rewarded with a historic coziness.

The place was very clean and just right for all the people. Nearby are various restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. If you feel the wanderlust, you also have a good starting point here. The huge couch and fireplace invite you to chat and the kitchen is super equipped. There are enough beds available even if the ascent to the top is a bit of getting used to. But all in all very cozy and modern. We really enjoyed the time together and highly recommend Nicole's place.

We stayed at the forest cottage with our two dogs between Christmas and New Year's Eve. The communication with Wolfgang worked out well before and during the stay. The forest cottage is quietly located in a holiday village, in the middle of the forest and with numerous hiking trails all around - absolutely idyllic! The cottage itself met our expectations. The size is very pleasant and due to the two bedrooms on the upper floor, 4 people have enough space without any problems. The amenities were also absolutely sufficient to enjoy a relaxing stay. Here and there, if you look very closely, a small renovation or renewal of the inventory would be necessary. But the bathroom and bedrooms were great. All in all, we felt very comfortable, especially when the fireplace rattled in the evening. We definitely recommend it and have already made friends curious.

We stayed with Simone for a weekend to join the biathlon in Oberhof. We immediately liked the apartment: very nicely furnished, clean, everything necessary available and much more. The contact with Simone was excellent – thank you! We didn't see much of the surroundings because our focus was on Oberhof. Our stay at Hiltrud's was very nice. We stayed in Erfurt for a weekend and felt very comfortable in the apartment. Hiltrud greeted us in a very friendly way and showed us the apartment. This was not only very cozy, but also very clean. We'd come back in a heartbeat!

We stayed 2 nights in this beautiful place. It's even nicer than the pictures. Our expectations were more than exceeded and we immediately felt at home. The fireplace and roof terrace are a dream. It has everything you need, even candles for a nice extra ambiance in the evening by the fireplace. The bathroom is also top notch! Kerstin gave an incredible amount of tips on what else to do. Unfortunately, we didn't have that much time due to business events! But we have set out to come here again, exclusively privately and then continue to explore the beauty of Erfurt and then stay with Kerstin again in this fantastic accommodation. Hidden gem for Erfurt definitely!!!

Great apartment that is superbly equipped and clean. Communication with Alex was super easy. The apartment is located just outside the city center, shopping facilities such as butchers, bakers and Rewe as well as Aldi are within walking distance.

We enjoyed staying at the small apartment very much. There was everything you needed to make yourself comfortable and the contact and communication with Kerstin was very pleasant. She was friendly and accommodating and had even provided a small sparkling wine for the first evening. Shopping is right around the corner, within walking distance, and the train station is also not far, so excursions to Weimar and the surrounding area are also possible.

We stayed in this great apartment for a month, but time flew by too fast! Stefan was very responsive, we also met his father and sister! This is a wonderful, helpful family When we come to Germany next year, we really want to come back to this place! The apartment is in a quiet place, 10 minutes to the nearest town called Coburg and another supermarket is near the house, within walking distance

This was the perfect venue for a visit with friends in Gehren. The home was cozy, comfortable and well-provisioned. It was a perfect home base for all of the walking we did while visiting. Highly recommend!

A perfect retreat in the Thuringian Forest We had the pleasure of spending a few days in this beautiful cottage and it was just amazing. The location is incredibly quiet, ideal for those looking for relaxation and recreation. The spacious garden invites you to linger and offers plenty of space for outdoor activities. The modern decor of the house is stylish and comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Particularly noteworthy is the proximity to an excellent restaurant serving delicious local specialties. For families with children, the nearby playground is a big plus. Overall a wonderful place to get away from it all and enjoy the beauty of the Thuringian Forest. We will definitely be back!

We booked Villa Steinsburg for a round birthday with my family, with six adults and six children aged three to eleven. Everything worked out great: the family liked it, the beds were comfortable, the piano gave the little students a lot of joy and the small Gleichberg was a very nice excursion destination for a hike that also delighted the children through the climbing stones.

we spent New Year's Eve in a group of four families and numerous children in Susann and Sebastian's house. The villa is really well renovated and excellently suited for a cozy and private experience on the large Gleichberg. The communication with Susann was always very direct and friendly, we were even allowed to put a sauna in the driveway. We can really recommend the villa of the two for vacations of groups! Always happy to stay again.

A beautiful place with a quiet area. Everything was very clean and everything you needed was there. The hosts are very friendly and available for any question and very helpful. The house is furnished with a lot of love and invites you to relax. We will definitely return.

Incredibly beautiful villa, huge garden and amenities such as sauna, pool and many leisure things. Billiards, projector, basketball hoop, foosball, games. Everything there. Really perfect for a family getaway or a quiet get-away. The wifi was super fast - we were able to work well there. There was hardly any cell phone reception, but it didn't bother us much, because we wanted a break. Kathrin was always available quickly and reliably, responded kindly and with lots of tips. Great! Just a quick note: there were lots of big spiders. This was absolutely to be expected and is due to the location on the field - but for city dwellers a maybe unfamiliar thing. But it is still absolutely worth vacationing there. We will definitely be back.
