Family-friendly holiday rentals in Indonesia

We were a family of 13 including 2 young children. The staff were excellent and super helpful. Agus could arrange anything for us, including a couple of exceptional meals at very reasonable cost. The Villa is a little way from the main shopping / supermarket but again Agus could arrange transport if required. Would certainly recommend this Villa.

Before arrival Cheryl sent all regarding information and helpful hints, her response time to questions was very quick. The villa was not over sold it was exactly what it is in the photos. Pool was a good size and depth for teenage kids, and they really like the high ceilings in their rooms. The staff at the villa were attentive and flexible with our daily arrangements, making dinner and breakfast at different times was no problem. Also having the ability to have clothes taken washed and brought back made the holiday easier. common areas were cleaned daily. They were really approachable and genuinely helpful throughout the stay.

Truly, it was a wonderful stay I had with my parents in Doni's villa. Astri and Desa were so helpful and kept everything clean and organized. They also taught us a lot about Balinese culture during Nyepi. The decor is marvelous and so is the location: close enough to Ubud but far enough away to be relaxing. The villa has its own private pool along with a second pool in the common grounds, which are wonderfully landscaped. We can't wait to return for another stay soon.

The host's auntie was very nice, and we were picked up by a motorbike.The villa is also very welcoming and blessed us with the local traditional ceremony.The environment is more intentional, beautifully landscaped plant walls and sculptures, a clean pool, a pavilion and wooden loungers in the courtyard, and a variety of books and a thick few guestbooks left by previous guests.Feeling Indonesian and local culture, great experience!

stayed for family gathering and we were all very happy, lots to do at John's place. i was leaving planning to book again sometime in the future *hopefully*

Just Book it, Don’t think twice!! Looks exactly as pictured in fact even better in person. We were welcomed so warmly by our personal butler Robbie who was very responsive to any questions/requests and just a very nice, sweet person to deal with. The villa was equipped with everything we could need and the private pool was the most beautiful addition to our trip! The bathrooms are nice and clean with running hot water. They also have a water dispenser in the villa itself which is a great plus for me. Bicycles are also available at the property for rent which Robbie gave us with a rechargeable light The breakfast quantity and quality was impressive. The villa is located very close to sunset beach and about a 15 minute bike ride to the harbor. Definitely one of the best properties on the island Overall we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend. A big Thank you to Robbi and Samuel

So far the room is nice, clean and the facilities are complete, the host is communicative. Overall if the apartment is nice and comfortable. It's just that the apartment area seems to be poorly taken care of, the pool is dirty and the other pools are black like there are no officers who clean the same

Ketut's place is amazing for peaceful and relaxing. it's well hidden in small village 15 mins from Ubud centre. Ketus is really nice person and his family are welcoming. They made sure we didn't need anything. loved everything bit of it. It gets pretty dark at night and the jungle is right infrot of us. so definitely expect some mosquitos and insects, this doesn't effect the overall experience and the bed is protected by a net if needed. I would definitely recommend the experience.

We had the most wonderful stay! The place was absolutely lovely – beautifully designed, clean, and super comfortable. It’s located on a charming and quiet street, yet just a short walk from lots of cozy restaurants and cafes. There were so many fun activities nearby, and everyone we met was incredibly kind and welcoming. Everything was just perfect – we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

Villa Bukit Sari was a beautiful spot to stay, the pool was a large and deep one perfect for a morning swim, the garden had a magical feel and the room itself was nice and cool, the room was serviced every day during my stay too. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Villa Katana. It is very spacious and a beautiful garden and pool. Our son loved the water slide! Wayan and the team really went above and beyond to meet all our needs: great breakfast, laundry, arranging food delivery or pickup, drivers. It is a bit further from all restaurants and shops but with arranging a driver we could manage with our family.

Everything we needed was at arm's reach during our stay at Sukma's place. We felt so at home! we were always greeted by three very cute dogs every time we get back from a tour, and a dip in the pool is a very nice cap to end a fun day. The area itself is very clean. There's a hot and cold shower, with water pressure so good it feels like a nice massage. Daily breakfast is offered, and you can choose from a quick menu which kind you want. Very convenient! The villa is also very close to several convenience stores, a bank, a pharmacy, the seminyak shopping district and tons of good restaurants! We highly recommend staying here! truly a home away from home 🏡

This was a very comfortable and welcoming space with boats available to answer any questions and help arrange things like transportation and laundry. It was so kind and helpful of them to set up a car pickup from the airport, and they kept the space beautiful and clean with every other day cleaning. This level of service went above and beyond and made our stay so much more enjoyable. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance and impeccable hospitality from our hosts. Highly recommended!!

Made Bali Vila is a fabulous vocation spot for tourists coming to Bali. The Vila is about 20 minutes away from Canggu, 1 hour away from the city centre, Denpasar. 2 minutes away from the surfing spot Pererenan. A huge thanks to Sayu, she is very helpful during our stay. Last but not least, anyone who comes to Made Bali Vila will enjoy their time there!

For our first visit to Bali, we experienced immense joy. Villa Samasti enhanced our stay with a hearty breakfast, an outstanding pool, and spectacular views. What truly touched us was the warm welcome from Putu and Kadek. Their genuine smiles and personalized attention made us feel at home immediately. They also provided excellent recommendations for the best local restaurants, cultural sites, and authentic activities to discover a serene Bali. We highly recommend Villa Samasti to anyone seeking top-notch comfort and a true local experience. Even now, as we write this review at the airport, we have now a new friends we will certainly come again . A heartfelt “ Trimakashi “ to them!

We had a wonderful stay. The villa is just fantastic and offered everything we imagined. Kadek and Comang, as well as the entire staff were extremely helpful and we felt very comfortable and very well cared for. We had an amazing stay at this villa. The villa itself was well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and all the amenities we needed. The location was peaceful and private, providing a great escape from the city. What really made our stay special was the host Stephane. He is very hands-on and approachable, always quick to respond and offer helpful tips. We felt well taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with great hospitality.

Made the housekeeper was lovely and grace was very responsive The place is beautiful and serene, not too far from shops and restaurants, we just used grab to get around

I would recommend Utara to everyone!! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming! The villa was BEAUTIFUL! So clean, so spacious, SO WORTH IT! We stayed for our friends birthday, and the staff were amazing and helped us arrange such a special day for her! Included a flower arrangement on the bed, spelling “Happy Birthday” and a cake made from towels! As well as helping to arrange external services with a real birthday cake, silver making and a massage service! It was an unforgettable time! I cannot thank the staff enough for all their help to make it so special!

Neither the photos nor the description is enough! THE HOUSE IS SPECTACULAR! It has absolutely everything you need, it's super big, it's super well located, it's beautiful and very comfortable! It's walk to downtown and the Monkey Forest and great restaurants and cafes are all within meters! They waited for us with fruits, sweets and drinking water! He was super flexible with the check-in time and we were also able to leave our stuff after checkout! Her sister welcomed us into the house, and what to say about that woman! It's the most adorable thing we saw! the pool and park are amazing! VOLVERIAMOS WITHOUT A DOUBT!!!! THANKS MADE and KARIN!

We were a family of nine staying at this beautiful villa, and from the very first moment, everything went perfectly. The property is incredibly spacious, with thoughtful touches throughout that truly made it feel like a home away from home. One of the highlights was the large, sparkling swimming pool — perfect for both relaxing and enjoying fun family time. We also made full use of the tennis court, billiards table, and table tennis, which kept everyone happily entertained. The recreation room was another great bonus, complete with gym equipment that made staying active easy and enjoyable. The location couldn’t have been better. It’s just five minutes from a huge variety of restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and local markets — everything you could need is right at your doorstep. Some of Bali’s most beautiful beaches are also just a short drive away, making it easy to explore and enjoy the area.
