Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ingramport

We chose this place because it was close by and it is Winter. We had a big snow storm the day of our arrival. Fortunately we only had a 20 min drive and yet it felt like we were in the woods. Robert greeted us and showed us around his lovely home. It was a place where the whole family could spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day together. All eight of us declared it was the best family Christmas we had in a long time. The beauty could be seen from every window. We were provided with everything we needed to have meals together and to play games and the young adults loved the hot tub. Robert had a beautiful Christmas tree set up and there was lots of little cozy spots to have one on one chats with each other. We realized after meeting Robert that he would be so cool to hang out with but he had other family plans. We are seriously considering making it a new Christmas Tradition.

This was our third time staying at this awesome place. The place is always clean and well stocked with the things we need. The updating and improvements to the kitchen and the bathroom were well done and a nice surprise!

A great place with plenty of space, character and charm. All the amenities were at hand and everything was well thought out. Definitely a super location for larger groups.

Zack and Yifei are great hosts! We chose their location for proximity to family we were visiting nearby. It’s definitely convenient if visiting the Bedford area. They have excellent taste and we appreciated the thoughtful decor touches and the clean, comfortable space. It’s a great space if you’re travelling with kids and our toddler loved his “special bed.” They were highly responsive, acting immediately to salt the driveway when we arrived and it was slippery from the night before. We only had a few issues, namely a bad wifi connection and the inability to access data from our phones inside due to poor LTE connection in the area. Zack was responsive in offering to help and, although we didn’t get it sorted, we appreciated their responsiveness regardless. The only other issue was that we did hear a fair amount of noise from upstairs on our first evening, but it didn’t appear to be an issue at any other time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mary's place. It had everything we needed, including a nice big kitchen with a lovely view; it felt like I was cooking in a treehouse :-) Mary was very easy to communicate with. We would be happy to stay here again.

We stayed for two nights. 5 girls from Halifax just looking for a girls weekend! The house was amazing! So clean, so big, so well stocked, so close to amenities! We were welcomed by the host as soon as we made the reservation. The host communicated well and answered all of our questions in advance. We had a minor inconvenience with the hottub and the host was able to trouble shoot and make it better! I will definitely book this place again! For a small group looking for an amazing place to stay - I highly recommend staying here!

Can’t say enough about how beautiful this space is! The house is even better than the photos (which are also very good). Our group loved the space, the gorgeous view, and its walkability to Peggy’s cove and various restaurants and shops. We even loved the bed linens so much we tried to figure out where they were from lol! Absolutely recommend this home for visitors to NS or locals looking for a weekend getaway:)

I was able to use this beautiful location, to get ready for my wedding. Hosts were very lovely. The location is breathing taking, watching the sunrise was also beautiful. I would definitely recommend. It’s so cozy! Thank you for allowing me to use your space for my special day. I will never forget it.

Barry was very responsive and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome! Help out with several things I needed (not related to the property) and made sure I've settled in. I will most certainly book again!

A getaway for Valentines in Lunenburg for two nights. Weather was not the best, however, having a cozy fire made it fine for staying in after we checked in the first day. A lot of shops are not open this time of year anyway. We enjoyed going out for dinner the second night.

Shelley and Julian are fantastic hosts. They really helped make our stay enjoyable. They are very responsive and friendly. The place was in a great spot and we were able to walk to all our destinations.

Kevin and Alanna's place was absolutely beautiful it was a cozy spot to stay very close to the city and local stores it had everything you needed to feel right at home

Great 4 night stay at Tee's, the place is as described and shown in the pictures, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Pride of ownership is clear. The place was spotless and located on a quiet street. Thanks for a great stay would definitely return.

Very clean and quaint spot to stay at. The theatre room was fantastic. Made my weeks stay a great time!

Interior is modern and very comfortable and the swim spa and patio area are private, with great views of the bay during the day and the stars at night. Easy access to Hailfax and the surrounding area.

Amazing spot for our family get together. A very well equipped kitchen with all the gadgets and spices that you’d need. Beds were extremely comfy with lovely linens.

The location is absolutely beautiful and more spacious than the photos show. We enjoyed watching the wildlife and rolling fog from the bright open windows throughout the house. The host is very excited to share the experience with guests by providing kayaks and local food/ activity recommendations. The property is well looked after by a neighbor / property manager who has great recommendations as well! The property is remote but still within reasonable driving distance of Halifax and other tourist destinations. We recommend you get groceries on your way in though as there are limited grocery options in immediate area. Farmers markets are easily found and have best of NS. Highly recommend for a beautiful and relaxing vacation!

Jordan's place was absolutely spectacular. Comfortably fit our large group with room to spare. Anything you could think of was available! Theatre room was incredible, and we spent most of our time in there. Using the provided services or hooking o our own game console, it was all a breeze. Our only issue was that it was too cold outside for the hot tub to warm up enough to use; thats on the winter, not Jordan! Something to keep in mind when booking.

This was our second stay and there was a reason for that, it’s beautiful! And we would stay again. It’s so peaceful, place is very clean, the fireplace this time of year is so lovely . Everything you could want for utensils, pots and pans , it’s all there. The communication with Jordan was prompt, 100% recommend this place. Just an FYI the driveway was very slippery due to recent freezing rain storm , would recommend some sand , it was like a skating rink… We will be back! Thanks so much for making our stay enjoyable!

Amazing views, beautiful country

This is a wonderful place by the lake. It has a great location. There’s a large mall and many small shops nearby. There’s also a sports complex not far away. The hospitable host is always ready to help with anything. I will always stay here and highly recommend this place to everyone. Thank you very much for your hospitality!
