Beach house holiday rentals in Island of Ortigia

Super cool, eclectic apartment. Very well stocked/equipped and very creatively furnished and decorated, The highlight was by far the amazing rooftop deck - unlike many in Ortigia, this was very private, got plenty of sun through the day + also with great protection from sun and light rain via the bamboo pergola. Location was awesome - quiet enough to sleep at night but also super close to everything. A couple of awesome wine bars around the corner, great restaurants nearby and some great spots to grab a coffee, pastry or quick arancini! Pierpaolo was a very professional host. Excellent communication, very clear instructions (self check-in was very straightforward), great local recommendations for restaurants, boat tours etc and also helped us sort out car parking - we used Talete, which is a 10 min walk and only costs 15 euro per day. There is also a spot you can park briefly to unload and take stuff into apartment that is a 1 min walk to apartment. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Marcello’s apartment. Nice size, clean with free parking. Walking distance to all Ortigia sights. Marcello was very attentive to our needs and even offered direct support when one of us got sick.

Vittoria's apartment in Ortigia was well located to all major sites in Ortigia in comfortable walking distance. There is plenty of room in the 3 level apartment with nice beds and comfortable furniture. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies although we did not cook in the apartment. Vittoria was proactive in correspondence and was quick to answer any questions. We were met upon arrival and shown a nearby covered and attended parking garage that cost 15 euros/day. Apartment was explained to us upon arrival and there were recommendations for local restaurants, several of which we used and were happy with. The apartment is new with up to date appliances including a washer and drying rack. There is a rooftop terrace which we saw on our first day but were unable to use due to rain - in nice weather this looked like a great spot to relax with views over the town. We would highly recommend Vittoria's apartment for anyone looking to explore Ortigia.

Even nicer than we imagined- the patio is right off the bedroom making it super easy to use for breakfast and afternoon drinks. It has the best view in the city!

We had a lovely stay at Elena's accomodation in Syracuse. The house was just as advertised, really well equipped, very clean, spacious, air con in every room, very comfy bed, and the terrace was so beautiful. We absolutely loved it. Helena was a great host, very quick to respond and so helpful too.... brilliant. It's a little bit of a walk into Ortigia from the accomodation but if you don't mind the walk then it's accessible on foot! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this accomodation.

A beautiful and comfortable apartment - one of the nicest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. Lots of cool design features - and a record player to play some retro tunes! Really good location too, slightly removed from the madding crowds of Oritigia, overlooking a shady courtyard.

The villa was exactly as described and the view of the Mediterranean was 10/10, multiple days were spent reading and enjoying the view. Only negative was the roads immediately outside the property are quite potholed. The host was fantastic and very helpful and was flexible with check-out to help with timing with our flight.

We were greeted personally upon our arrival by Valeria and Giorgio with a warm welcome. The owners are very nice, helpful and discreet. The house and pool are as described in the photos and the location is very peaceful and beautiful. The house is very functional, equipped with all comforts and tastefully furnished. Ideal for a relaxing vacation amidst the estate's beautiful olive trees. There's really nothing missing. We had a wonderful week. From here, you can easily reach various beaches, the beautiful Ortigia and other famous places by car. We highly recommend this property, where we hope to return in the future. Beautiful place and beautiful, Italian family that greeted us warmly. The place was a paradise for our 2 boys (4 and 2,5 years) with a pool, trampoline and private terrace. The house was sparkling clean and was very elegantly decorated. The kitchen was very well equipped, also with spices, pasta, water in the fridge etc. We really relaxed there and would love to come back.

Respiro Greco is a little gem in Syracuse, it's down a small road and behind a secure gate; once inside you are in a stylish and modern villa with a pool and established garden. It was too cool to use the pool but nice to have a water feature. The house has everything we expected and needed and so quiet. Ramona left us a generous welcome basket, thank you, and there was a supermarket at the end of the road where we could pop in to pick up anything we needed as we came home. Ramona was very responsive, fixing the only problem we had (wifi dropped) in 10 minutes. Ortygia is full of great eating spots and good shopping, with historical sites to browse around; the Parco Archeologico is close by and so charming. We found a fabulous lunch restaurant there called Momento. Thank you for a special stay.

Our family of five had a wonderful time staying the Costanza’s Villa this June. Valeria & George were very warm and helpful on checkin and quick to reply to any questions along the way. The house and grounds are gorgeous, in fact the photos do not do it justice! The pool was a nice size, sparkling clean, and the perfect temperature. The villa is a 5 min drive from the beach, and 15 from Syracuse, and because of its location has a refreshing breeze. Highly recommend and we will book again next time we visit Sicily!

The villa was absolutely beautiful and very well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the choice of outdoor areas and the pool. Sabrina was an extremely lovely and responsive host who made sure our stay was smooth. Arriving in Catania at 8am, we were able to do an early check-in which was much appreciated. Our children also appreciated the cats who came to say hi, it reminded us of ours :) We would definitely recommend Sabrina’s place.

Everything was absolutely amazing! Would recommend this home to anyone thinking of coming to Siracusa and would definitely like to book this accommodation again next time! Perfect!

Loved our 10 day stay here! The apartment was so peaceful and comfortable. Everything was spotless and was thoroughly cleaned again during our stay. Alberto and his team were super friendly and helpful with everything we needed. The kids loved the beautiful gardens and the pool (although a bit cold in April!). You do need a car….there is not a local food shop so you need to drive about 10-15 mins into syracuse. Not many of the local restaurants were open in April as it was off season, but we went into Ortigia which is a gorgeous town. Noto is also an easy 30 min drive and a stunning town for a day trip. All in all I couldn’t think of anything bad to say! Thank you

Paolo was responsive to our last-minute request, arranging to drop off our bags before the normally scheduled check-in, good tips for restaurants. nearby activities, small beach 50m away, well-equipped accommodation perfect for a family.

This apartment was everything we needed and more for our 4 night stay in Ortigia. I can’t imagine a better location on the island. We were there on New Year’s Eve and the front door to the building was mere beyond where the authorities were holding people back for bag checks. Minutes before midnight, we breezed right into the Piazza del Duomo for the festivities

Francesca is a great host, she gave good info on neighbourhood and restaurants in Ortigia. She was so flexible for check in and check out. The place was well maintained and clean. The out door area is great: sitting space in shade, great terrace and garden (the boys loved it to football). The beach at 5 min walking is beautiful

Varco28 is very nicely and quietly located on the edge of the nature reserve. From here we have taken wonderful bike tours criss-crossing the Plemmirio peninsula, to Ortigia, to the small port of Ognina or to the beaches of Fontane Bianchi. Also the rock necropolis Pantalica, which can be cycled through on a disused railway line, is not too far away. The house is complete and well equipped, with excellent Wi-Fi and sunny and shady outdoor areas. We were received very warmly and with nice touches by Fabio and Terry and felt very comfortable for 14 days.

Dario was a great host. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The house is in the heart of Ortigia. A great area. The place is small and cozy. It has everything you need for a pleasant stay.

The appartments was beautiful and had everything we needed. We could walk everywhere and after a few days on the go it was great to be able to cook Rosella was amazingly friendly and both hosts helpful

Very well hosted, on flexible schedules, in a small secure cul-de-sac, we enjoyed a beautiful well-equipped accommodation with very nice small touches. Immersed in the daily life of Italians, we were also close to the tourist activity of Ortigia. Really, a very pleasant stay that invites us to come back. A big thank you to Maria.
