Waterfront holiday rentals in Kailua

We had a great stay here. The location worked well and the pool was great and never over-crowded. (We visited in January). Close walk to many restraints, shops, beach, etc. Great value!

Awesome stay at Makai side’s place for the second leg of my trip. Location’s perfect for everything, not to mention it’s at the 27th floor so the sunset’s within the view! Biggest perks for me were the free parking and laundry. The place was clean and had nice modern ammenities. Makai Side VR provided with detailed instructions from getting your parking fob to your check out. Will def consider staying again if I’m in Oahu!

Angie was a very responsive, clear and very good host.The location of the room is fantastic, very close to Ala Moana Shopping Center, and easy to get around Oahu by bus. Towels, soap, and hangers were provided, and there was plenty of toilet paper and tissue paper. There was a toaster, microwave, oven, electric kettle, and cutlery, which was convenient. Thank you Carren for sharing your beautiful penthouse with us! It was exactly as pictured. The quality and attention to detail at every corner. Everything you need to know is listed for you! Proximity to it all whether your preference of walking or driving. Pack light in luggage for the additional flight of stairs but overall worth it! My family and I plan on returning soon.

Elina was a very good host and the condo was lovely. Great communication, flexibility on timing, and responsive to questions. The condo was very clean, which I appreciated (not a single stray hair seen👍🏻), the view was great and we saw fireworks in multiple directions on New Years Eve. A few things I wish I would have known: the condo is on the harbor, which is a nice view but it is a little trek to the actual beach. While the condo is near to Ala Moana shopping center, it is about a mile or so off the main Waikiki strip with most of the main hotels and restaurants. This could be good or bad depending on what you are looking for. Overall, had everything we needed and was peaceful and problem-free. Thank you!

Brian's place was amazing! Brian and Jenna are super nice and very responsive. The place was very convinient, 15-20 min walk to the main Waikiki area as well as to Ala Moana shopping mall. There are food trucks right by the corner if you need to get food. Close to the beach as well. Brian was really flexible with the check in time and they kindly let me know when it was ready. The area can get a bit loud but they do have ear plugs ready for you, so if you're sensitive to sound, it would be good to use it! I would definitely come back again when I'm in Honolulu!

Perfect location near beach and all the attractions yet at the end near a huge park with great views of Diamond Head.

Cute and comfortable studio for a girl traveling the island solo. The surrounding nature was incredible. Make sure you check out the pathway that leads to the cliff side ocean look out sunsets are 10/10!!

Look no further, this is the place you want to be at! I can’t say enough good things about Vijay, his home, and the location. He is very generous with amenities and his time. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. We instantly felt right at home. The pictures of the home are accurate, and more spacious than I imagined. The beds were comfy and my family of five adults slept very well with room to spare. This home is kid friendly as well. We were greeted every morning with a gorgeous sunrise peeking over the oceans edge that you can see through the front windows or take a few steps to the quiet beach for a breathtaking view. One of our favorite things was having so much beach to ourselves. You have convenient access to the main highway that takes you around the island. All island activities are easily accessible from this location, so though it’s away from the hustle and bustle, you can easily get out for activities all over the island, then come back to rest and relax.

This home was perfect for our family of 8. The location was nestled in the little countryside of punaluu right across from the beach where we were able to go swimming everyday! It was a beautiful home that was well equipped for a nice long trip. Not too far from local restaurants and grocery stores with a little country living vibe type community. We would definitely stay here again.

The location can not be beat. On the other side of the island from Waikiki which is perfect for some peace and quiet. Beach near the house is great for snorkeling as well as not crowded at all. Host was great leaving very clear instructions as well as a nice welcome basket with local treats. Will definitely be returning to this house if we come back to Oahu. Thank you so much Amanda for letting us enjoy your home during our vacation.

This property is a Hidden gem, If you want luxury view with a laid back family style feel- look no further this property is EVERYTHING & so much more. Truly incredible place & even better host. Our family felt at home and we feel like Alex is our new family member we dubbed him uncle Alex cheeeeee!!!! We will be back for more Ohana adventures 🫶🏾 aloha

Great view from property. Short drive to nearby town. Clean with access to washer and dryer which is great when you’re at the beach. Beach chairs were available to use. Overall nice stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in Hauula. The location is perfect to visit the Polynesian Cultural Center and other activities on the North Shore. We really appreciated the neighborhood during New Year’s Eve. They are so friendly and welcoming. The fireworks in the neighborhood were fantastic. While the house is not on a beach it is right on the water with a cool sea wall. The morning breeze was refreshing as the waves crashed throughout the night and each morning. We would recommend the house to anyone who is looking for a convenient stay in a quiet neighborhood away from the busyness elsewhere on the island.

Great place can wait to get back next year

The Ko Olina condo was spacious, peaceful and located in the most beautiful beachfront setting. You had views of the ocean from every room including both bedrooms. The kitchen was very functional with upgraded appliances, dishes and appurtenances. The grounds of the condo were wonderful with swimming pools, hot tubs, barbecues, and a large koi pond. Outside the gated facility was a walkway leading in both directions to other beachfront hotels and restaurants or to the private lagoon straight ahead. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer condo on the island of Oahu!

Best Airbnb I’ve ever been to in terms of condos. Kitchen was fantastic. I’m a health professional and being able to use the cookware free from scratches was great. Very clean home, lots of condiments in the kitchen with tea’s. Excellent view, quiet and close to grocery store. A gym in the building would have made it a perfect score. Lots of beach towels and wagon for carrying groceries and beach clothes was super convenient. Comfortable bed. Top notch!

This place was fabulous, and with a fabulous view. A very short walk to the beach. Walkable to many locations around the area. A plus was the free parking. Had a full kitchen so if you wanted to prepare your own food you could do so, also has a microwave. A lot of towels and beach chairs to take with you if needed. I highly recommend this place. If I come back I am definitely staying here.

This is a great place to stay! The location is very walkable to many attractions, and was very clean. The host is very responsive and gave great recommendations on what to do in the area. I would stay here again next time I am in Hawaii.

We highly recommend this Airbnb! It was beautifully decorated, very clean, had a lovely view and a multitude of other extras! In the evening you can relax on the spacious balcony and enjoy the beautiful sunset. The beds were comfortable and the property was spacious. This Airbnb was worth every dollar spent.
