Holiday rentals with beach access in Kaunihera a-Rohe o Ōtepoti

We loved our stay on the Otaga Peninsula! Bjorn’s place was the perfect spot to enjoy the water views and all the action around the local area; many swimmers, sailors, cyclists and runners in addition to tons of birds. We loved visiting the local beaches (Sandfly, St Clair and Allan’s) to see the wildlife, birds and surfers. We also did two very close by penguin tours and saw many ‘little blues’. We had absolutely everything we needed in the apartment and loved the beautiful views out the huge windows! We ate at The Duck twice because it was so good and used the small local grocery store for essentials. Bjorn dropped by and gave us info on how to use the European style windows as well as restaurant suggestions. We would definitely visit again and highly recommend.

Of the more than 50 Airbnbs we’ve used this was one of the best! This is perhaps the best location in Dunedin. Right on the best place overlooking the ocean. Rooftop space is beautiful. Outdoor pool 5 min walk away. Katherine was so helpful and the place has everything anyone would want.

Vicks place was lovely. Beautiful outlook ,very comfortable and stylish. The accomodation was very clean and immaculately tidy. The beds were very comfortable and a good selection of pillows. Shower and bathroom great. Just a heads up for future guests the kitchen area is only really suitable for heating up food or take always. Just a microwave for cooking and very limited work surfaces. There is a toaster, kettle and Nespresso machine for preparing breakfast. It does say this in the details but I thought it was worth underlining. There is a couple of eating places in Portobello but this is a short drive away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Well-appointed, comfortable beds and, best of all, warm! The view was fantastic and the location was excellent for exploring beaches and menus.

The perfect spot to stay in St Clair. Views of the beach from every room, walk downstairs to bars and restaurants. Highly recommend Spirit House for a Thai/Vietnamese feed! Highlight were the sea lions along the beach and watching seals swimming right out front.

We really enjoyed our stay at JPs. The location was great and we walked everywhere. JP was very thoughtful having fresh bread for us as well as offering local tips.

I can't say enough about the beautiful views from this home. Truly stunning. The home was also lovely and had everything we needed. Floor to ceiling views from living, bedroom, and bathroom were incredible. I love when an Airbnb leaves things that previous guests have left (spices, toiletries, hair products, non perishable food, etc.) so I really appreciated this. The owner was also very flexible with our check-in time which we were so appreciative of. Will surely stay here again if ever back in Dunedin.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Angela's place. The house is quiet and private, beautifully presented and had everthing you could possibly need and more. Stunning location with all day sun and easy access to the beach. It felt like home, we will be back. Tracy and Justin

Beautiful views and wonderful location. We really enjoyed our stay! Please also note; no coffee maker, furniture is a little more lacking than the photos portray, and the space feels a little older than expected. Otherwise excellent! Thanks again Tamara!

John's place was nice and cozy which is a great place to stay with family or friends. Easy checked in. Very clean & comfortable especially the bed was the best one which made us have a good rest after a long drove across the country. The host was kind and very responsive. Definitely recommend.

Lana’s Airbnb was excellent. The living room and kitchen were very spacious and well stocked with utensils, plates and cooking appliances. There were four of us and we had 3 spacious bedrooms and 1 and 1/2 bathrooms. We used the washing machine .and hung our clothes to dry. There is a parking space, but we simply parked on the street. Lana’s place was a short 12 minute walk to the beach. We decided to take the bus to downtown Dunedin. The bus step was right across the street. We thoroughly enjoy our short stay at Lana’s place from easy lockbox entry to our leaving. We were super happy with our stay at Lana’s. I would certainly recommend staying at Lana’s place

Really loved staying at Rebecca’s place. Great location, right across the road from the beach. The house is well presented and everything you need for a comfy cost stay. Considering my daughter is studying in Dunedin this will become my new getaway when I’m down visiting her.

We enjoyed our stay at Christine's place and would stay there again. Our group had four adults and two children. There was plenty of space for all of us. The nicely landscaped yard and expansive deck were much appreciated and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. On the short walk from the house to the beach we were even fortunate enough to see a baby sea lion.
