With his upstairs and number of nights in Pat's stay. We were here because of New Year's Eve for our dog, fireworks is not that much of a thing😔. There was fireworks wanted to be chipped but minimal. Further trips made to Bern-Kastel, Trier and Luxemburg. It gave a nice feeling after being away in Pat's cozy and warm cottage. It was also wonderful walking along the Mosel with the dog.

Very cozy house with excellent "feel-good atmosphere" and superbly equipped. Absolutely recommended area for nature lovers. Likeable hosts who were easily accessible. We had a wonderful time. :)

Monica has been very friendly and always easy to reach. The house is huge and was perfectly equipped for our needs. We were on site with 3 families with small children and a dog and had a very good time. The playroom was the absolute paradise for the kids. We took 2 walks to the neighboring villages and stopped there. The possibilities here are somewhat limited. If you leave by car, there is a lot more to do. Overall, we had a fantastic weekend.

We were kindly received and immediately received a lot of information about the region. There was coffee, water, tea, etc. ready for us. The cottage was bigger than expected and was very clean. The kitchen is also very well equipped. The few questions we had were also answered directly.

What a wonderful place! We received an incredibly warm welcome with all kinds of goodies, a very well cared for house, even with all kinds of attentions because we had our dog with us. Ulrike and Martin were super attentive and responded very quickly and adequately to questions. We very much enjoyed the welcome, the house and the beautiful surroundings.

The house is a real gem, very lovingly furnished, everything is thought of, there are lots of small nice details and you can just feel comfortable. We were able to relax excellently with the family, it was very quiet, you could only hear birdsong and the rooster, but it seems to be a late sleeper. The house is very spacious, the beds extremely comfortable, the air good and there are a lot of nice nooks to sit, inside and outside (it was unfortunately too cold for us). I can really only recommend the house, it is absolutely worth its price.

Very comfortable and spacious house, in a very beautiful environment. Lots of walks nearby! Ulrike was very hospitable and helpful. Offered us wood, always responded to messages, was always there for us! The house is spacious and warm. Not very new or modern, but that doesn't bother. The sauna is very good, but with a shaky bench. 2 spacious bathrooms and a rolling garden. The wood fire is in need of renewal (lower grate), but is still working properly. The kitchen is very well equipped! The only downside were the creaking beds. Had a good time!!

An ideal location for hiking. The rooms/apartment- everything sparkling clean. Super friendly welcome and hassle-free check-in/out check in. Highly recommended!

Great host / great stay

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! It is very pleasant and welcoming. Hjerke is extremely personable and communicates kindly and helpful. The location is simply fantastic, in a beautiful area with a great view. It was super relaxing to sit at the table with a cup of tea or coffee, light a few tea lights and enjoy the view. Although my husband and I were here for business reasons, we were very happy to stay in this apartment. After a long day at work we were happy to return to relax. Absolutely recommended!

We had a family vacation there. The many play opportunities, the barn, the trampoline and the chickens were great in front of all the kids. The house is well furnished and well kept. Christoph greeted us in a very friendly way and showed us everything. He was always ready to answer questions and help out. Excursions for hiking, floating and in the Eagle and Wolfspark have rounded it all off. We had a lovely time there and will certainly be back.

This was such a beautiful location to stay. We got blessed with great weather and enjoyed sunbathing and BBQs in the large open space at the rear of the property. There were nearby stores (Lidl, Aldi) available which was great for self catering. The space was clean and cosy for our stay. With plenty of utensils and facilities for our guests. The check in and check out process was stress free, and the owners were quick to reply to any enquiry’s made. Thank you so much for hosting.

Perfect house for our Christmas retreat. Although we didn’t get full snow, the area is very beautiful and quiet. The interior is just like the photos and really added to that cozy, warm vibe. The kitchen was better equipped than I’d expected; full size fridge with a freezer compartment, well stocked cutlery and accessories. It was a bit of a squeeze to get 8 of us for Christmas dinner around the dining table but thankfully it did extend to allow us to all sit when we added some extra chairs. Having a pool and sauna was a big plus. Gabi was really helpful to get us in and assist with working the stove on the first day. Perfect cozy retreat!

The kitchen is very well equipped and invites you to cook, nothing was missing. We were able to enjoy the spring sun in rural tranquility on the large terrace. The beds were cozy and invited you to sleep in.

Dear Anja, We felt very comfortable in the accommodation, small but nice. Since we didn't arrive in the dark until the evening, we had a small problem finding the house number. Otherwise, the key was in the given place. We will be happy to come back.

Beautiful apartment. Nicely decorated and very clean. Friendly host. Always and promptly responded. Gave nice tips. Quiet area. Close to Trier and Luxembourg.

We had a nice stay at Michaela's place. The house was nicely cooked on arrival. Super clean and tidy. The contact with Michaela went very smoothly and we could contact her for questions. The beds were lovely and the house is very spacious and equipped with every comfort. The area is really beautiful. Within 200 meters you are in the middle of nature with beavers, deer and boars. We hiked extensively and enjoyed very much.

Ruth offers great service. A top host. The kitchen is completely complete, even with oil, a pack of spaghetti. She had a bottle of bubbles and came to bring us eggs. Great place with our dog. You walk right into the fields to let it out and an end to walk. Recommended.

My brother and I were in the apartment for a weekend, we were both very satisfied and we lacked nothing :)

We bad a wonderfull stay. Its the perfect place for star gazing if the sky is clear. we got some nice clicks of the galaxy from the surrounding medows. There are many hiking spots near. The host was very responsive and friendly. The checkin is mentioned as self checking, but there is also a time limit (3pm - 8pm) mentioned and the host was waiting for us. So we had to rush a bit to reach on time. Other than this everything else was as explained in the description.

Great holiday home, perfect as starting point for hiking or cycling. The apartment and view even are better than the pictures suggest!

We really enjoyed our stay. The surrounding nature is beautiful and there’s a nice outdoor space to enjoy the weather.
