Boutique hotel holiday rentals in Kitaazumi District

I stayed in a private room with ensuite. My room was perfectly cosy and warm when I arrived late. Check-in process was really easy and staff were super friendly and always happy to chat/ answer questions! Perfect location close to bus stop, ski hire shop and restaurants. I will definitely stay again!

Hakuba was booked out for the Bank Holiday so we were super lucky to find The Joint. The living / dining room area had a fire place and it was a great spot to meet other guests. Other guests enjoyed the outdoor BBQ area. We stayed in a double room, which was basic, with a small and clean en-suite. Shayne was always around with some good local tips. Enjoy your visit.

One of the best locations in Hakuba for lift access and restaurants. The shared amenities and included breakfast were great. Plenty of showers and toilets. Bed was comfortable (single bunk beds with nobody below, in a 6 bed dorm). Lots of storage below each bunk. Washing machine and dryer in the lodge worked well, 300 yen per 1 x wash & dry. Ski storage was easy and the drying room was great. Staff were very obliging and the pick up and drop off to the bus stop on arrival and departure was very helpful. Clean linen and towels always available. Lodge temperature was very comfortable. Common areas very nice with big TV and hot drinks available. If staying in dorm, ear plugs recommended. All the other guests were very nice (mostly Australians when I was there).

The accommodation is very well located, clean, breakfast is very good with a baggle or a homemade muffin every morning. Hikes are a short walk away

Exceptional value, Great Location. we stayed here 2 days and it was fun. There were lots of restaurants at 5min walk. The crowd was good and we also had fun watching Netflix along with other people. Hosts were also accomodative in changing our dates to earlier due to typhoon. Overall exceptional place. Highly recommended

 beautiful family, Alan, especially that helped us  understand the snow resort, shuttle timetables etc. He speaks really good English. He was even kind enough to drop us to echo land, one of the nights that we stayed. The breakfast is beautiful. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be booking for next year. The location isn’t the best if nightlife and action is what you’re after. But for us, we enjoyed feeling as if we were in the countryside away from the action, but also close to a shuttle bus stop for the snow resorts  if you’re wanting to be amongst the snow with lots of trees, then this is a place for you
