Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Kitaazumi District

Beautiful home that provided a perfect place to relax after a day of winter sports. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. The host left thoughtful instructions that made using any of the appliances throughout the house very easy. The home is in an excellent location; a short drive to all of the ski resorts Hakuba has to offer and a 10 minute walk to an abundance of great restaurants, bars and ski/board shops. The host was very friendly, responsive and detailed with all instructions. Hakuba Shelter is a great place to stay. Thank you, Kanako!

One of the best AirBnB’s we’ve stayed in! It really was a home away from home. Plenty of room for 5 of us, meticulously clean and nicely appointed. Comfy furniture, coffee machine, fantastic water pressure for showers, Netflix and PlayStation for kids and little personal touches here and there made it feel like home rather than a rental. Hiroko was extremely welcoming, took us grocery shopping on our first day and drove us to ski fields every day and went over and above to make our stay very comfortable. Thanks Pete and Hiroko for opening up your lovely home to us.

We had an incredible time at Yuri’s place! The location is perfect not only for those planning to ski in Hakuba but also for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with friends or family. Yuri was an exceptional host who went above and beyond to help us. Even assisting us in getting our car unstuck from the snow and arranging a new rental. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We had an amazing stay at Vega Chalet. David was super responsive and helpful before, during, and after our trip. The house is in a great location with Echoland Main Street just 3-5 minutes walk up the road. Well placed between Goryu/Habkuba 47 and Happo One for skiing. The chalet itself is incredibly comfortable and spacious. We especially appreciated the pellet stove on cold nights! Definitely won’t hesitate to stay here again on future trips. Highly recommended!

Thanking James and his team for the great stay in Hakuba. Well thought out use of the space with drying room below, kerosene heating throughout keeping you as snug as you desire. Probably one of the best options in echoland, hakuba for a large group. Walkable to shuttles, restaurants and a car rental place. Would come back here again for sure with a large group

Fantastic place to stay if you have a car. Wonderful view, very clean and modern. Large space and bedroom. Everything you need is there. Even went out of the way to provide a humidifier! 5 star triple A plus! Would come back.

The apartment is perfectly clean & comfy and located about 50 metres from the closest chair lift. The lounge room & bedroom have huge windows looking out over the ski fields so you can sit in the warmth & watch the action before and after getting out there yourself. Iwatake is a great area to ski at with a brand new fast gondola and plenty of chair lifts. The host Daniel & his staff are really friendly and helpful so we really loved staying here & highly recommend to do so too if you get the chance! It’s the kind of place you don’t want to leave!!

We stayed in apartment C1 for 10 days. It was comfortable and had plenty of room. Kitchen was clean and good And everything in the apartment worked perfectly We had a car which made things easier as it’s almost impossible to get a cab anywhere

Peter was a fantastic host. He went above and beyond to look after us, including booking all our restaurant dinners, and detailed information on how to navigate all our transportation ahead of time. The accomodation is centrally located, modern, and comfortable. I highly recommend staying at Hakuba Downtown Apartments.

What a fantastic place and a wonderful host! Traveling from the US to Japan can be daunting. But Daniel gave us plenty of options and directions for getting from Tokyo to his place in Iwatake. He even arranged for a driver to pick us up from the bus station. During our trip he was always available for questions and recommendations. Also, his place is literally ski in/ski out. The closest lift was about 25 yards from the front door. The apartment was clean, modern, and well appointed. Overall, the apartment (along with the excellent hospitality from Daniel and his staff) made our trip easy and memorable. We’ll definitely go back!

It was a very beautiful hostel. The view from the window was also good and the atmosphere was calm. However, the owner was not available when I checked in, and even if I asked the employee, I waited for a moment. It is a bit disappointing that we had to wait about 30 minutes for check-in.

Dan is an excellent host and the place is as advertised. They went above and beyond for our stay by helping us with various things that enhanced our experience. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend this place. It's a great location, lovely setting in the woods, we were there in winter and with the snow its incredibly beautiful and also walkable to the gondala or chair lift. This Airbnb is a seperate apartment attached to the Mojo lodge, so you get all that's listed, 2 bedrooms + living room/kitchen/bathroom etc etc but also in Winter season you can use the communal area of the lodge as well which is great, plus you get an excellent cooked breakfast and a morning lift to the gondala. Plus all the staff at the lodge are super friendly and very approachable for advise on the area whether that's where to eat or the best onsen or other local knowledge. We really felt welcomed and at home for the whole week we were here and we'd definitely stay again.
