Beach apartment holiday rentals in Kitty Hawk

Fantastic location right on the sound with great views of the water and the spectacular sunsets. Condo was very comfortable from living room to the bedroom. Location just south of Duck and north of Kitty Hawk was convenient for everything we wanted to do. Meredith was quick to communicate and was flexible even when I had to make a slight adjustment to our dates of arrival/departure. Highly recommended.

We've stayed at several units in this condo complex and Amber's place was one of the nicest ones. Great location right on the beach and exactly like the listing describes. The king bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed using the beach chairs and cart provided in the downstairs storage unit. Plenty of parking at the complex and walkable to Goombays almost across the street. Amber was responsive from initial booking through checkout and was always friendly. The only thing we'd wish was different was for linens to be provided, but we knew they weren't prior to booking and accepted that. Despite that, we'd definitely stay at this place again. Just be aware the condo is on the 3rd floor and there are no elevators. A luggage elevator is provided so you don't have to drag your luggage up the steps.

We contacted last minute to stay for one night.. They were very accommodating. Our unit was comfortable, clean and the manager was on hand to help us get settled.. We had a very pleasant stay and would return.

My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at Salty Sunrise. Boon was an incredible host who was quick to respond with any questions we had. Very cozy condo with an excellent view in a great resort community that hosted several events for everyone to enjoy. We look forward to staying at your home again in the future. 5 stars!

The place was exactly what we were looking for. We were in town for the Jazz Fest which was across the street, so it was perfect. The beach was a little bit of a walk, but wasn't the primary reason for our visit so it was fine. The place is really cute and comfortable.

Fantastic condo was exactly as described and expected. Host communication was excellent. Full kitchen was provided with cookware, silverware, cookware, and even a wine opener. Property amenities and beach access were greatly appreciated. Very quiet and peaceful in the off-season. Direct access to bike path was greatly appreciated for walking, running, and cycling. Town is a little over 2 miles south, so you can choose a long walk or quick bike ride for morning coffee and the famous Duck Donuts. Building G fronts the main road and will help you wake up in the morning so you can look out over the sound and make the most of the beautiful days. We look forward to staying on this property again or any other property with the excellent host!

Katy was very responsive with communication and messaged us after we arrived to ensure all was satisfactory. The home was clean and well supplied. We found plenty of places to visit and restaurants nearby in spite of being there in the off season. Overall, a great experience and would recommend Katy's rental home.

This was my very first time reserving one of these! It was awesome… we just didn’t stay long enough due to the weather we had to go back home! We will be booking again REALLY SOON for a longer stay!

Our stay was wonderful! We were steps away from the beach and were provided a wagon to haul the chairs, umbrellas and cooler to the beach. Everything was clean and looked exactly like the photos. Great location to get to the wild horse tour and many restaurants within a 30 minute drive. Lynn always responded immediately with clear directions. Thank you

I loved staying here for a last minute trip to the Outer Banks! Lisa was very professional, proactive, and attentive throughout the duration of my stay. She didn’t hesitate to reach out and let me know she was there for any questions or needs that may arise. The place was beautiful, clean, and served every need for a weekend getaway at the beach! Adorable beach stay in a super-clean and cute 2BR, 2BA w/ amenities. Handicap accessible, outdoor shower, and a short walk to the beach in a private location at the north end of the Outer Banks, this place welcomed my wife and I from the second we walked in because it was charming, clean, comfortable, and accommodated our two girls (Yellow Labrador and Golden Retriever). Nestled in the Corolla/Corova location, it is surrounded by beaches, wild horses, 4WD beach driving, museums, lighthouse, restaurants, shopping, and a throwback view of what it was like in the 1920s at the Whalehead Club. Quaint schools and churches speckle the inshore line. I'd return in a heartbeat.

Very responsive hosts who meet our needs. We only stayed overnight but would expect this to be a great location during the summer season.

This is a great location, close to the beach, and intercoastal. It’s in a new community that was quiet and clean. I would recommend Katy’s place.

Great location. Clean and had all kitchen necessities needed. The water pressure could be better in master bath. Furniture is a little dated but worked for our needs.

This location was really terrific. Such an easy walk to the beach. House was well equipped and recently updated. Internet easy to use. It was not as clean as it could have been (long strands of hair found in various places, random sink clogs and overflowing trash outside) but we are pretty low maintenance and did not mention it (I imagine they would have addressed it if we said something). Some residents in this neighborhood aren’t particularly kind and have some very unfriendly dogs, so be aware of that if you have a dog who is scared of other dogs. Otherwise, it was a good experience, and great house.

Lovely apartment. One must walk up 4 flights of outside stairs. There is a dumb waiter to move your stuff up. When you use the key code you also have to press the “check” button. Bring your own bath towels, TP, Kleenex, bars of soap, and shampoo. The apartment is managed by Village realty so you have an absent landlord. St. mary of the Rosary Catholic Church is 10 minute walk, as is Taco Bell, KFC, and charity thrift store.

My family and I had booked a full week, and loved every minute of it. We have small kids, and everything was an ease. We look forward to booking this property in the future.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay over Thanksgiving! The condo was huge, impeccably clean, and in a fantastic location. I was looking for a place where I could relax, watch and listen to the waves, and this home delivered exactly what I needed. Connor messaged me about early arrival time and we were able to take advantage of that. Connor went above and beyond by quickly responding to my request to add an app on the Roku—even on Thanksgiving! His attentiveness and care truly made the experience special. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-maintained getaway.
