Villa Valkeainen Kuusamo

Welcome to the tranquility of the wilderness in a unique log villa by the lake. A stunning architect-designed and built of old logs, this cottage sits in the middle of silence and pine forests. The cottage is spacious (150 m2) and there is plenty of private plot. The cabin is for 1-4 people and is the perfect place to relax. The cottage has a beautiful wooden sauna, as well as stairs from the sauna to the lake to its own pier. In winter, the cottage has access to a handover and ice fishing, and you'll have access to a rowing boat in the summer.

Wooden cottage by the lake. Enjoy peace and quiet, explore the surrounding woodland, pick berry or try fishing. Woodland trails for hiking and mountain biking. Rowing boat. Lake share is shallow and suitable also for children. Electric lighting and heating. Outdoor Sauna by wooden stove. Hot and cold water (drinkable) from tap. Air conditions (living room and both of bed rooms), Fridge/freezer, coffee maker, microwave, electric oven and hobs. The nearest market in Posio 20 km from cottage.

This beautiful Villa Uuttu is located right on the lake front. It has four bedrooms, big common area with a fire place and smart tv, fully equipped kitchen and sauna area. Free use of washing machine and dryer for guests. Also for kids, there’s books and board games available. Here you can enjoy peace and quiet doing different activities depending on the time of year. In winter we offer complimentary snowshoes and ice fishing gears. Summertime a rowing boat and paddle boards are available.

Peaceful location on the shore of beautiful Upper Juumajärvi about 2 km from Juuma village, 3 km from the Little Karhunkier, next to Oulanka National Park. Cozy cottage near by Ruka (5km). Only three semi-detached houses in the same area. The nearest grocery store (Sale market) is 3 km away. Linens (sheet, duvet cover, pillowcase) and towels are not included in the rent, they must be brought to the cottage yourself. Or you can rent them from me for an extra fee €25/person. Toilet paper and paper towels are available at the cottage. Firewood is included in the rent. (in outdoor storage room and/or outside on the back terrace)
