House holiday rentals in Kópavogur

We had an absolutely perfect stay. Karl Davor told us several times that we just needed his things, so we were fine using, for example, spices, some flour, garbage bags, etc. We also had to use his hot tub at no extra cost, but of course you have to be aware that there is a smell of sulfur from the hot water, but Karl Davor has no influence on that. The beds were very comfortable and the house modern and nicely decorated. We were able to use the washer, dryer and dishwasher as well as Disney +. We had rented a car, so the distances to the sights were no problem. There is a small shop along with the gas station, where you can buy the essentials. The surroundings were a good fit for us. There are a lot of green areas/park with a playground. There is a very short distance to the beach, here you can find rocks and throws away. We didn't get to try the local swimming pool, but it's also within a short distance. We stayed here for 12 days and enjoyed every day the view of the mountain Esja.

Fantastic family accommodation. Beautiful views & stylish but practical interior. Lots for kids to do inside the house (for bad weather days!). Would highly recommend and we hope to stay there again if we come back to Iceland in the future!

Great location that’s outside the hustle of downtown Reykjavik. Sweet neighborhood and extremely well-kept home with beautiful backyard. Highly recommend.

Great communication, beautiful home. We had everything we needed. Views were amazing. Close to lots of stores and restaurants. Klara was a gracious host, very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We plan to come back in the summer next year and will stay here again. Thank you for everything!

Great place to stop and explore the surrounding area. Mikael was very kind and always fast to respond. Instructions were clear. The only problem we ran into was that it was tough to lock the front door. Everything was great otherwise and I highly recommend Mikael's listing. 😊

What an amazing place to stay. This was our first family trip with all kids as adults. Everyone loved the house and surroundings We are already talking about when we can come back. Thank you so much for everything.

We had such a great stay at Vive’s. Firstly, the house is exactly as described. All the rooms, and more Importantly the beds were super clean and very comfortable. The house is spacious and located in a very beautiful and serene neighborhood which is like a 5 to 7 min drive to downtown Reykjavik. We walked along the beautiful bay that’s literally right behind the house, and kids enjoyed playing at a cute playground right next to the bay. Vive had several nice toys which kept the kids entertained at home. The hot tub was great to spend late evenings with friends with a few drinks. Vive was super responsive and helped with any questions we had! I would definitely recommend her place and would stay here again when I come back again to Iceland!

The location is very good. Finding the house is fairly easy, the entrance was actually at the back of the house, if you arrive late at night like me make sure to get ur torch ready. All amenities are there, not that complete for me to cook but just enough and no complaint. The kitchen is small n super cute, i like it. The only downside is the pillow needs to be replaced , it’s horrible. Other than that, I would stay here again. My family love it. Worth the penny.

This place was perfect! 4 adult and 4 kids. It was absolutely beautiful home and the owners were so responsive and helpful. The house is walking distance to food markets and some restaurants and only 20 min drive from downtown Reykjavik. Walking trails all along the area. We could not have picked a better place to stay for our visit to Iceland, highly recommend this place!

The house is large, and the host introduced me the house very warmly and fully equipped.The house is in a nice location, there are parking lots.We had a nice stay.

Sara’s place felt at home. We were comfortable. With 5 of us, 2 living spaces really helped. We are able to have our own spaces within the house. A relatively new home, fast internet and while it’s was super freezing out there, we were snug as a bug! Would happily return. Great communication too. 👍🏼

Fantastic place to stay in a beautiful home. Bjarni had the hot tub warmed up ready for us, was very friendly and left a lovely welcome gift which was very much appreciated. The beds were very comfortable, especially after a busy day of travelling/touring. Easy to find and easy to park hire car. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again when we next visit.

This home is beautiful, and the host is very responsive. The house has everything you need for a lovely stay. It is easy to travel towards Keflavik, Vik, or Reykjavík from the home. We were able to fit nine people comfortably.

The environment is very good, the house is very cozy, everything is very complete, the communication with the host was very smooth, I will come again next time

Nice, spacious house matching perfectly matching the description and photos. Worked perfectly for four adults and four kids. Football pitch and playground by the school just a few metres from the house. And a trampoline in the garden. Easy and quick communication with David. Thanks for a great stay!

Kari’s place made us feel right at home especially with little kids. The location is perfectly close to the city to easily get downtown for dinner or sightseeing but is also in a quiet part of town. Kari as a host was very responsive and provided some great recommendations.

Lovely house and great hosts, what more could you want? Communication was mostly with Andri who was very helpful and responded quickly. The house was fantastic for us (family of 5) and in a great location to either go into town or out to see other parts of Iceland. I would definitely recommend to others.

A beautiful home near Reykjavik (10 min drive) & conveniently located near highways for easy travel. Extremely clean and comfortable, amenities as described, amazing back porch and hot tub — felt right at home! Guðjón and his family were incredible hosts and made our first trip to Iceland a VERY special one! Shout out to Tommy & Tia, the house cats — we fell in love! Thank you again for everything; we cannot wait to return!

Nice house in in good area, a lot of space and light. Many games and toys for kids! 10 min by walk to the bus terminal.
