Villa holiday rentals in La Jolla, San Diego

Our family recently stayed at this waterfront home, and it was incredible! The place was spotlessly clean, had a full kitchen, and has a great location right on the water. We loved being right on the strand in Oceanside and hope to come back next year!

Our family of 7 (aged teenage to adult) stayed here. The view was spectacular! We thoroughly enjoyed the front spacious balcony with ocean views and abundant seating. We also liked that it was a bit setback from the road (over the garage entrance). The living room with sectional & large coffee table was perfect for game night. We also utilized the kitchen and grill, which had everything we needed for a delicious home cooked dinner. We walked a whole bunch along the strand, which is so much fun. It’s close to the pier and lots of great restaurants. We were able to use the beach gear and quickly realized that we hadn’t needed to bring anything from home. The beach locker had multiple beach chairs and just about everything you would need for a fun day at the beach. The rental had a good stock of beach towels and regular towels as well. Overall, an amazing experience. We would absolutely rent here again!

Truly awesome home and location. Well kept and lots of space for our party. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. David was a great host and very accommodating, we will be staying here again on our next Oceanside visit.

Eyasu was responsive at all times. He was flexible and accommodating to our requests. The space was perfect for our large family. We enjoyed sitting outside bbqing, playing games and pool. As we had plans for Legoland and the Safari Park the location worked great for us as close to the highway.

This is a large older home, from another era with all you need. It is quirky and old school Chula in the best way possible. SUPER close to 3rd street, 7 min walk to downtown, 10-15 min to LaBella's. The main entrance lets you into a large sun room, the living room is spacious, plenty of room to hang out and watch TV. Full size dining room, leading to the back washroom and a separate door to the kitchen. Lot of doors! The main bedroom downstairs was spacious with the en suite bathroom that has a large skylight. Bedrooms upstairs were well appointed with nice bedding and comfy beds. I am a city girl, background noise isfine. However this is off a busy main street with markets, businesses and you are surrounded by two (quiet apt buildings). If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs (& eye mask). The backyard gazebo is cute and a nice place to chill. Would love to go back when the fruit trees are in bloom and giving fruit. Overall chill place to stay with an old school family vibe.

This place is so great! We stayed with a couple of small children and even though it is very close to the beach it is also super safe with gates on every exit and codes to each gate. They have a locker full of beach toys and a wagon so you don’t need to bring your own! We loved this place and will definitely be coming back when in Oceanside. The location is so perfect as it is so walkable to everything!! And there is a playground on the sand!!

This home was perfect for our vacation! very kid/family friendly- he has cribs, baby gates, utensils and plates for kids, lots of books. View was amazing, and is about 15 from everything!

Ciaras place is spectacular! The decor, the linens, the outside space was amazing. Great views. The listing doesn't do it justice! There are so many little extras that made this vacation one of the best. Great location, easy access to the freeway and all these great beach towns. I will definitely be back. Thanks Ciara.

Would definitely recommend this Airbnb for a large group! We had a total of 14 in our group for a joint Bach weekend. Josh was a very responsive and helpful host. We loved all of the community space (large kitchen, living room space, and private outdoor patio area) to all hang out. The kitchen was SO nice for cooking for our large group; truly don't think I've ever been in airbnb with as many kitchen utensils available as this one, we had everything we could possibly need and more. There are only 3 bathrooms, so at times it was a fight for the bathrooms and showers with our group, but we made it through lol. The location isn't necessarily walkable to anything (as mentioned in the listing), but very conveniently located to be a quick drive to just about anything in San Diego. Also really appreciated that the checkout duties were quick and minimal.

Jamal's home is beautiful with a 360 view, comfortable and spacious. Great location! Would recommend anyone staying in SD to visit this home! The neighbors were friendly. I especially appreciated the parking and safety!

We had a family gathering for the weekend and enjoyed our stay. It’s a very lovely property and we loved it. Bryan suggested a few restaurants we loved and some activities close by that made the trip interesting. We would come back again.

This Airbnb was truly one of the best experiences I've ever had. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how impeccably clean and well-organized everything was. It was clear that a lot of thought and care went into every detail. The space felt like a perfect blend of comfort and style, with each item carefully chosen to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Jacqueline, the host, was absolutely wonderful. She was so warm and thoughtful, always quick to respond to any questions and went out of her way to ensure I had everything I needed. Her kindness really made the stay feel personal and special. The location of the property couldn’t have been better, offering easy access to everything I wanted to explore, yet still offering a peaceful retreat when I returned. I honestly can’t wait to come back. This place exceeded all expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, thoughtfully curated stay with an amazing host.

The location was excellent and allowed us to walk to several shops and restaurants. The manager, Ellie was always available and friendly while responsive with anything We needed or requested. My family of 4 and 2 small dogs stayed at Ocean Villas and we enjoyed our stay. The space was cute with an open common area and a great outdoor seating overlooking the beach and ocean. You are steps from the sand and onto the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal. However, if you do plan to cook, bring oil, seasonings, etc and if you’re a coffee drinker, bring coffee. :) The only thing to consider is that the villas bedroom windows face the grand walkway to the beach, so unless you don’t mind the sound of people, you can’t open the bedroom windows to get the cross breeze. There are high speed ceiling fans so this didn’t affect our sleep. Lastly every morning around 9ish workers pressure wash the sand from the grand walkway stairs, so if your an early riser, this may not be an issue but my teenagers didn’t appreciate this. We would definitely stay here again! Loved that we were on the ocean!

We were very happy with the place! Bigger than expected and very comfortable! We loved the location because we could pretty much be anywhere in 15 min. The kids loved the game closet (so many!!!) and the treehouse. We enjoyed the Viking stove and spacious kitchen. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were fine. Grill wasn't working but we let the management company know. Parking was easy. Washer/Dryer was new and easy to use. Single cup coffee machine was a little tedious. Neighborhood is very quiet and calm. There is a great view of the bay from the house. Liberty station is notorious for airplane noise so be ready for plane noise starting at 6:30am sharp as they are creating their new runway at SAN. The planes stop at around 10pm so its very quiet for sleeping. Most days the planes were taking off right overhead. One day they were landing instead because of the fog and that was a little quieter. It was exciting watching them take off from the upper balcony. We all got used to it.

This is the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. The house is beautiful and kept very clean. The back yard was awesome and the view was unbelievable. We only had 3 people in our group but this would be an awesome house for a family. Lisa was amazing also, checked in with us everyday and was super sweet and responsive. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Such a beautiful place and with three rooms, we will definitely bring our whole family back. The space is beautiful and everyone there is so kind. It’s so nice to have a shared space and meet nice people.

Great place! Loved the pool, pool table, and patio seating. Very cozy and I felt right at home. I would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to doing so in the future.

We had a lovely long weekend. The pool, deck and jacuzzi are an amazing add-on to the our stay. Tabita is a great host.

I booked my stay here for a birthday trip with friends! 11 of us stayed here and had more than enough space and felt comfortable. The home was beautiful and we felt like we were at our own little private resort. Especially the pool area! Such a great setup. The hosts were amazing, friendly, and extremely communicative! Made everything easy for us and we can’t wait to take another trip to stay at another property of theirs again.

This was a beautiful home for a girls getaway staycation. The pool was clean and so was all of the home. Super cool set up! There’s a little game area space upstairs so also fun for a guys trip. The beds were comfortable and I appreciated that they have black out curtains! Will definitely be booking again when I stay in SD. It’s like a 25 minute drive to gaslamp district and all of the restaurants in that area like Javier’s and Red O. Also, we felt comfortable cooking in the kitchen. Mostly all of the essentials are provided, including great coffee! Don’t hesitate and book!

Sonia & Hugh are gems. I appreciated how accomodating they were to my requests and needs in particular to extending an extra day and Sonia and I even went to take a Zumba class together. The property is beautiful, well managed, clean and has all of the amenities needed. As a busy profrssional, it was a perfect reprieve to rest and gather myself.
