Kepler Oaks Chalet Farmstay

We had an amazing time at Helen's place for my 40th birthday. We just wish we could have stayed longer! Our toddler loved spending time with the alpacas, rabbits and horses and there was plenty of space for him to roam around in. We had a lovely BBQ in beautiful sunshine and surrounds. We definitely want to return! Thank you so much!

Lake House - Te Anau Holiday Home

RaineeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed in a few other places on the South Island and this was our favourite! Nice and private, great private access to the lake and plenty of room in the back yard for the kids! Also accommodated with kids plates etc and a well stocked pantry. Only a few mins into town, this place has been marked for future family trips for us as there’s just so much space for everyone!

Kepler Oaks Takitimu Chalet

MeganRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Cannot recommend Helen's place enough! Such a beautiful stay. Waking up to the horses in the distance was a dream. Helen provided treats to offer the animals if desired. We were welcomed with warm bread. Had a lovely ride with the horses, and couldn't get enough of Kai (the dog) and the beautiful rooster that roamed around. Quick drive into town. Wonderful to have your own peaceful retreat!

No. 85 - home away from home - 蒂阿瑙 85号院

JackieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We booked two rooms so had the whole place to ourselves. There's a open concept kitchen with a washing machine. Bedrooms came with portable heater. There is no TV and only had a swinging single big sofa in the shared living space. But our group of 4 had no issue in sitting at the dining chairs for chats. Donna had been helpful in giving us more clothes racks to sun our washed clothes. There's a friendly dog to play ball with too!

Time Out Cottage 1. A Get-Away

JoeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a ball. Kerri was great with instructions and was on hand immediately to help. We didn’t meet her legend husband he was over at the pub… lad! We heard them singing in the pub and wanted to join but it was so dark we were wondering if we would be okay getting there. We woke up early for sunrise and it was so refreshing to go out and see the beauty surrounding the cabin shack lodge. We would return and we recommend and next time we’ll check out the holy pub.

Mararoa Homestead 1921

HaraldRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The homestead is beautiful. It’s like a time travel to the 70’s until 90’s. It reminded me of my grandparents house. The space is huge every thing is very well mantained and it has a beautiful sun coming in the afternoon. The whole precinct has a big garden and a lot of curious things to appreciate. Host was very kind and helpful. Very good breakfast provision for one to cook.

Duckpond Cottage highway 97

RobertRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Duck Pond Cottage is a wonderful mixture of rural and rustic and modern. It has everything we needed and we loved how it felt to live there. Dot was delightful and always ready to help but never intrusive. A great experience and great value! The fact that we stayed here two years ago and came back this year should tell you all you need to know.

Alirra's View Manapouri

JoeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Hi Kristy -- we had a very nice stay, thanks. Kitchen was great, well equipped, easy to use. Loved the open, airy front room/kitchen space. Everything was neat and tidy. Really appreciated your extra help (or Donna's) coming by to open the small bunk room! Thanks so much -- the fjordlands region is just magnificent!

Welcome Home Cottage Manapouri

JenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This quintessential NZ ‘escape’ is a place that is the furtherest away from Greenwich meantime as you could possibly get. I felt so at home here at the end of the earth - birds, trout, eels, and a few people! It’s not overwhelmed by tourism yet so, with lakeside and riverside accessibly to explore ( Myell provides bikes and helmets as well as walking sticks) makes this natural wonderland a joy for the senses. Breath taking even and good for the soul! Then to snuggle down in front of a log fire (natures television) at the end of the day in Myell’s digs is indeed a ‘Welcome Home Cottage’ Simple Pleasure at its absolute best!

The Bivy - Manapouri Lakefont

AnnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We were very pleased with the lodging and the location for our jumping off point for our overnight Doubtful Sound cruise. Unfortunately, both the restaurant and the café were closed for the Monday evening and subsequent morning, so we ended up driving over to Te Anau for dinner and groceries. I would highly recommend that you not count on meals in the neighborhood when you visit here. Carolyn was very receptive to our needs and a great host.

Great apartment 5 mins walk to restaurants & shops. Spotlessly clean and kitchen well equipped. Parking right outside front door. Julie & Ian (and Chester the woof) really friendly and helpful. A very comfortable few days here. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Had an amazing time in Margie’s house. Great location for exploring Fiordland and just a short walk to town for a meal. We decided to prepare our own meals however because the house was so cosy to stay in and very well equiped. Would highly recommend!

A lovely, private and peaceful place to base ourselves in while holidaying in Te Anau! Dianne was a fantastic host and accommodating to our needs. Communication before and during our stay was friendly and welcoming. A short distance to the town centre. 360 degree views of the mountains. Highly recommended!
