This location is absolutely spectacular! The rooms were impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed, and radiated a calming wellness vibe. The highlight for me was the private deck overlooking a serene babbling brook – the perfect spot to unwind. The natural wood hot tub was a dream, with no chemical smell, making it even more enjoyable. This stay felt like a true retreat, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Lovely place! Such a great getaway among the trees. I really enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend. A couple things to note: The market just down the street is great for snacks, essentials you may have forgotten and firewood. The internet was not the best - fine for watching a bit of streaming but I would not recommend planning to do a bunch of zoom meetings. There are neighbors, but the way the house is set up, it feels very private.

Daphne was an amazing host! the location is beautiful among redwoods and the hot tub on the deck of the main house is always available for use. the fairy ring of redwoods made for a unique and special outdoorbreakfast nook. There were a few unforeseen issues on arrival (mistakes happen) and Daphne went above and beyond to make things right! including not one but TWO complimentary delicious breakfasts and homemade juice. One thing I wish I knew was that the cottage is 20ft away from the main house. it's still very private, but you will probably see people going in and out if you step out the front door and sit outside. regardless , it's still very private and worth a visit. Loved my stay!

Where to start. Lindsay's pace was idyllic and the peaceful vibe theremade for such a special anniversary getaway with my guy! I can't even express how relaxed we felt, both indoors and out. The fully-stocked kitchen was so helpful as we are big home cooks who like to make 3 meals a day, she also had a pour over for great coffee on site. And THE VIEW wowowowow...you feel like you're literally a part of the redwood forest, with the only sound of birds chirping, then the fog lifts and you can see the ocean. Downstairs has a very modern look and is well furnished. Upstairs could use a bit of an update. Stairs are very steep. No curtains downstairs kind of lessens privacy. Other than that, very nice in good area.

Exceeded my expectations...perfect cozy private getaway...was visited by tuxedo kitty..loved the animals...will visit again soon.

This is hands-down the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. From the get-go, Renee was proactive with her communications, flexible, and responsive. After booking, I had a concern that the space might not get warm enough with only a wood-burning stove (boy was I wrong!). When I expressed this concern, She was willing to work with me. When I got there, it was absolutely stunning, private, nestled in the redwoods in one of the most beautiful places in northern California! It was not too far a drive to the coastline or into town to Mendocino. The space feels somehow both cozy and totally spacious. It feels much less like a cabin and more like a fully stocked, fully furnished apartment with comfortable and beautiful furniture. And yet it’s still nestled in the comfort of the woods and has a rustic feel about it. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, and am sending the listing to all of my friends.

This was our second time staying and loved it every bit as the first. The ability to slow down, relax, disconnect, and recharge is made possible by the Serenity of Juliette’s place. Even my teenage boys enjoyed their time away, commenting often about how much they like coming here, which speaks volumes. The soaking tub is my personal favorite! Bring some bubbles or salts and prepare to relax. Until next time!

Zendo was a dream. Cabin/glamping at its best. Large house and I woke up in the midst of the forest with lushes greenery. Also that bed was so comfortable!!!!! WiFi worked well, the host had the sweetest gift basket for us when we arrived. It truly was a house of Zen. We drank coffee, made smores by the fireplace (they include the wood and all), read, relaxed and admired all the windows 🪟 and the greenery. Amazing this was real life and not a green screen. The hospitality, the host helped us with parking and we arrived late in the rain. Thank you ZENDO for an incredible weekend!

Great place, felt right at home, comfortable, with a well built kitchen with lots of equipment and a retro feel & excellent quality appliances. For a winter stay it was peaceful, private and comfortable, a great quick getaway from the Bay Area; in the summer there would be a lot of closeby activities. Judy is a very responsive host and answered questions right away. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful romantic weekend away. The space is cozy, beautifully decorated, and the view of the lake is gorgeous. Very well-appointed and had everything we needed. Paulette was very responsive. We would definitely come back again.

We loved staying at Noah and Joe's place! The place was beautiful and surrounded by nature. The cabin was very clean and it included all the services listed in the description. It is pet friendly and we were able to bring our cats with us. They loved it as well, chasing birds and playing in the trees. The place also has public pools that are very clean with clear water. Joe was very friendly and always willing to help. I highly recommend this place if you want to spend some time relaxing and in contact with nature.

This is a very nice, and well organized house right on the lake with it's own private dock. Loved the carport and quiet setting. Easy access to town and the surrounding area. A perfect place for a country get-a-way.

Bass fisherman perspective. Host was flexible on where I could park my truck and boat. Getting back out was a little tricky in the morning so I recommend turning around when you get there so departing in the morning in the dark is easy. Host also has outlets available for charging boat batteries. Now onto the actual place. Simple and clean one bed room unit with clean bathroom and warm water. Internet available along with smart tv with fireTV installed. No complaints at all.

Probably the most well stocked kitchen I have ever experienced at an Airbnb. This place truly has everything you need to be a home away from home and more. My kids loved the sea ranch kids park near shell beach. The hosts we're extremely kind and responsive, even on Christmas day for our arrival. We would definitely stay here again.

We are so glad we found Heather and her rustic cabins, it’s the only place to stay when visiting Lake Pillsbury. Such a unique location with a fascinating history, a much needed break from the city life. Our cabin had plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children, was spotless with very comfortable beds! The shared kitchen had everything you could possibly need We spent 4 days relaxing at the private pound, taking bike rides down the winding roads, stargazing, and exploring the trails. Heather checked in with us daily and was able to share the history of her land and the cabins. A beautiful location that everyone needs to visit!

Our stay at Andiron was unbelievably magical! My only wish is that we had discovered this gem sooner. Madeline was such a warm and welcoming host, and the place was not only impeccably maintained but also absolutely adorable. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Madeline!

This was a perfect hideaway spot for our family of 2 adults and 4 teens! Irish beach is a lot of fun and worth either the walk or drive down. Make sure you bring layers for both inside and out - it's coastal and there was a lot of fog when we were there in July. Hamid has plenty of heaters etc. in the house so you won't be cold. The kitchen has everything needed to cook and dine well. The washer and dryer were great amenities to have. Hamid is a very friendly and pleasant host. I would recommend this home.

We couldn’t recommend Richard & Diane’s place more highly! Truly one of the most cozy, charming, and beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. We were blown away by all of the handmade and thoughtful pieces/touches that Richard created in the cabin - the cabin itself is a work of art, let alone his sculptures on the property! The outdoor shower is better than we could have pictured. And those robes! Diane was the perfect host - she was incredibly warm and made the home extra special for us for Valentine’s Day. Thank you!! The home had everything we needed - it was hard to leave! Though it’s worth mentioning that we came to the area to go mountain biking, forage for mushrooms in Jackson, and explore Mendocino. Such a great spot to do all of these things, as well!
