Don’s beautiful VanHoevenberg Ridge has become our home base in the ADK, and a “home away from home” where we return several times a year to relax and enjoy the beauty of the mountains and lakes in all seasons. This is by far the best place we have stayed since we have been coming to the ADK for over 30 years. If you are lucky enough to stay here, you’ll be back! Don’s place has everything you’ll need, and is near to everywhere you’ll want to go. The views of the High Peaks are stellar, and the hot tub is relaxing after an active day outdoors. Don is a welcoming host who truly cares that his guests have the best experience, whether avid hikers or simply wanderers seeking serenity and renewal in the woods and waters near his home. He respects your privacy, but is happy to provide his knowledge of the area to find the best hike or paddle for you. This place is our North Star in the ADK: bright, constant, and a place we’ll always look to return to. We recommend it highly to everyone!

We had a wonderful stay. We’re a group of 4 mostly retired couples. Linda’s place was perfect for our needs. We used 4 bedrooms each with its own bathroom, comfortable communal space, a dining room that accommodated all of us, and a great kitchen with lots of counter space, utensils, serving dishes, etc. The main bedroom upstairs also had an adjoining suite perfect for families with young children. Linda’s instructions were clear and she was very responsive to all messages. Linda had towels for the hot tub which we loved using after a day of outdoor activity. We highly recommend Linda’s place and look forward to returning next year.

Beautiful home that was very comfortable and spacious for our large group. The outdoor spaces were great. The hosts were very responsive as we had questions come up both before and during our trip. Would definitely book again!

beautiful place right on the river! Lake Champlain and the ferry are a 5-10 minute drive, and you are able to bring your pup with!

We had a very great vacation at this place. Near to the WhiteFace mountain, the house has many accommodations (dishwasher, washer and dryer…). It was perfect for our family.

Doe-A-Deer was absolutely beautiful, we had a group of 11 that visited for our yearly ski trip for an extended weekend. The house was peaceful, clean, and modern. Only 20 minutes from whiteface mountain. Nice amenities and we loved the fireplace! Would love to stay here again, thanks again!

My family stayed for Easter/spring break to catch the last run at Whiteface and hike. Everything about our stay was great. The house was clean, comfortable and located minutes from everything we were looking to do. Judi was a great host from start to finish. We will definitely be booking with Adirondack vacations and Judi in the future.

As a first booking of my own to celebrate an anniversary with my partner, I was very happy with the experience. The cabin was very warm and welcoming both in look and feel, and right away we noticed the host had thought of everything for a smooth stay. Cookware, cocktail bar (even ice molds for the rocks glasses!), games, recommendations, clear instructions , first aid, hiking gear, bikes and more. Assuming because the ADK is still experiencing winter weather, the Kayaks seemed to be unavailable, however, having use of the bikes and taking the popular “rail trail” made our favorite experience of the trip! I would hope all of my future AirBnB experiences were just as good as this one. Would definitely book with Calli again in the future.

Was our first time renting an Airbnb and was such a great experience would do it again! Corey’s place is exactly as described, comfortable,clean and accessible. She communicated very quickly on all of my questions! Beds were very comfortable and had all amenities we needed and more. Hopefully it is available next year for us!
