Waterfront holiday rentals in Lake Placid

My fiance and I came up to spend Christmas here with our dog. It wad important to us to have a place with outdoor access and this was perfect because it led right down to the frozen lake and our dog LOVEs the snow. The house was clean and the beds super comfortable. I would say that if you come in the winter make sure to bring house shoes because even though the apartment gets warm from the heat the floor is freezing so come prepared. Also parking is not included and you will need to pay for street parking on the main street or at the big lot down the street. We got lucky because it snowed heavy one night and was xmas the next day so we only had to pay for a few hours the morning we left. But you cant beat the location and lake access. And they were amenable to us having a later check out.

Nice, clean place that is close to downtown and has a great view of Mirror Lake. Great shower and overall pretty spacious. Door locks were a little confusing at first but we figured it out

This was my second time staying there. Right on main ,street and easy to access. LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! The apartment was large roomy and furniture was comfortable. Kitchen cooking area was small but everything worked . pots and pans were there to be used, basic condiments were there... The River walk is a favorite spot to sit and have morning coffee or morning walks to the lake 1/2 a block away! I will definitely go back there!!!!

Staying at LeeAnne’s place was like staying with family. The space was very comfortable and spacious, with lots of room for my partner and I to spread out. The front screened in porch with the views of the valley and Ausable River were a perfect place to have our morning coffee. But the place was extra special because of LeeAnne herself. She was probably the most gracious and accommodating Airbnb host I’ve ever encountered in my many years of using the platform. LeeAnne was extremely flexible and accommodating with our needs and provided us with whatever household items we asked for to make our stay more comfortable, including a window air conditioning unit she put in our bedroom on one particular warm summer evening. Her hospitality and warmth reminded me of my childhood stays with loved aunts and cousins. If you’re looking for a peaceful place for some rest and relaxation, this is it!

My wife and I loved our weeklong stay here. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay, with a full kitchen, 2 beds, a propane grill, and a comfortable living room. It's right in the middle of some of the best places in the Adirondacks but quiet enough that you feel secluded. We loved being able to hear the Ausable River roar right behind the apartment. The whole town lost power from a storm on our last night, and the hosts were sure to check on us to make sure we had what we needed - we really appreciated that. Looking forward to our next stay!

Betsy is a super host! Let us know about the local area, places to eat and visit, where we can go stargazing which honestly is a must if you come to stay here! She is flexible and accommodating, just communicate with her and she will respond. The airbnb was clean, private, and very cozy! The local area is great with beautiful surroundings. Can't wait to come back to get some more hikes under our belts.

The unit is on the smaller side but is VERY cozy and warm in the winter. The kitchen are lets you prepare some basic meals which is really nice. Everything is really new and the location next to White Face is fantastic.

This Adirondack camp was an absolute blast in an amazing location! The direct access to the lake made our vacation unforgettable, especially with the provided kayaks for exploring the beautiful lake and connecting waterways. Our dogs had the time of their lives running around the spacious yard, and the pizza stone was fantastic for making delicious homemade pizzas to enjoy in the front room while while enjoying the stunning views of the sun setting over the lake. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect lakefront retreat!

We had a family vacation and enjoyed our stay at the house. The house is spacious and clean. The driveway is steep. We enjoyed the screened porches overlooking the lake.....beautiful sunsets. There is a small private and shallow water area between the dock and the boathouse. The grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed playing in the area.

Absolutely gorgeous and felt right at home from the minute we stepped on the porch. Ona made us feel so welcome with thoughtful touches. Incredible place for some badly need R&R. Thank you for sharing.

Ewa and Edward's place was wonderful! It was perfectly laid out for my family. The kitchen was spacious and enjoyable to cook in. Beds comfortable and the space was very clean. Would definitely stay again!

Our group has stayed at Todd & Amy's multiple times for our hiking trips and always have been happy with the property as well as the responsiveness of the hosts.

Shauna’s home was well maintained, clean, and well stocked with the essentials. We had a large party, and everyone was able to hang out together but also find smaller spaces for quiet time. It is very close to town, while also being an easy 20 minute drive from Whiteface. We would love to stay again!

I was very happy with the location and how easy it was for me to bring my kids on the lake and learn to fish. Beautiful views and a pleasant place to stay.

It is my pleasure to recommend Brad's house in Lake Placid / Saranac. I travel there every year with a group of friends for hiking and skiing, and this was the perfect spot for us to stay. The house was easy to find and more than large enough to fit us all. Brad's instructions were very clear and he was responsive to all messages I sent over the course of the stay.

My family and I had an awesome time. Great location. Love the sauna. Will definitely come back.

The condo was great! We stayed for a ski weekend and enjoyed the beautiful view of mirror lake, access to the indoor pool and hot tub and easy walk to shops.

It's a beautiful location with plenty of things to do in the area. You do get your money's worth. It's also close to many shopping amenities for those who prefer not to travel by car to buy groceries or medicine. Overall, a great experience!

Angela was incredibly helpful. She provided quick responses and the property was exactly what it was listed as there were no surprises and everything was beautifully kept.

Condo matches the pictures, but the view is far better than the pictures. Very comfortable space and open floor plan. Kitchen was well stocked, we cooked in a couple nights and had everything we needed to prep meals. Having three full bathrooms was great (we had 4 adults and two kids). Easy walk to the middle of town and all the restaurants/shops, but far enough away that it didn’t feel busy. Coffee on the balcony was an amazing way to start the day. We’ve been going to lake placid for 20+ years and have stayed many places - this is one of the best views we’ve had while still being right in the village. Highly recommended.

Our friend group was looking for a place to stay close to the whiteface mountain and we got super lucky to find Jo’s house! Beautiful house, stylish & super cozy - we felt like at home right away! All this in addition to beautiful surroundings made our trip an unforgettable experience! Each bedroom had a private bathroom and a common bathroom on the first floor which was amazing for a group of 6 people. Showers deserve an additional mention - it was definitely a calming and relaxing experience! Jo is an amazing host. Communication was great, we were given a lot of recommendations about local “must-visit” places. The host is super responsive, kind and understanding! Overall, it was an unforgettable experience at Jo’s place and hopefully we can go there again in the future! we highly recommend it!!

We had a great stay and the location was peaceful and quiet. Access to both lake Placid and mirror lake was easy with paddle boards. It was an easy walk to town as well. The condo was spacious with more than enough space for our group of 7. The kitchen cabinets and appliances as well as bathrooms are dated but all in perfect working order. We would definitely book with Diane in the future.

Second time staying here for a family rendezvous weekend. Would recommend to anyone! Condo was very clean. It is in a great location near shopping, skiing, and restaurants. We had a great weekend!
