Holiday rentals in Lake Whitney

My husband and I truly enjoyed our time! I appreciated the listing being very detailed and also very upfront about what Frank and Linda preferred at their place. It made me feel comfortable that it would definitely be the quiet and peaceful weekend we needed. The many windows were my favorite part of the cottage and the decor was very thoughtful.

Enjoyed the quiet and peaceful stay. Rodney was very hospitable and friendly. For some reason, I thought it was waterview on the lake. It is not water view but it was a comfortable place. Bed was comfortable and the place was clean and cozy. Nice large tv with good options.

Pamela’s cottage was perfect! I’m often in the Grandview/Maypearl/Covington area for short little trips. Now that I bring my Golden Retriever with me, it has been difficult to find places that are convenient and affordable. Pamela’s is everything and then some! If anything, Pamela undersells how amazing the place is. The cottage itself is super clean and had everything I needed. The bed was comfy, the hot water worked great, and I could let my dog sniff around without fear of her picking something up off the ground because of how clean it was. The directions and instructions to get there and enter were very clearly communicated. And the surrounding land they have is beautiful. Sadie and I loved our stay and will definitely book again soon!

Angela and Teresa are just wonderful! The cottage is very comfortable, welcoming and situated in a beautiful location. I feel the pictures do not do it justice and for me, the bed is so comfortable. The cottage is equipped with just about anything you need. The little touches they add make it even better. This is my second stay at their location and I feel so safe and comfortable with them, I've aleady booked a 3rd stay.

What an incredible place! Peaceful, gorgeous, clean, quiet, and everything we needed to enjoy a lovely weekend in Waco. The bed was super comfy, and we loved the shower products. Fishing in the fully stocked pond was so much fun; we caught and released five bass fish! I would definitely book this beautiful, rustic cabin again and again in a heartbeat! Thank you to Curtis, Amanda, and team for an unforgettable stay!

Sarah's Cottage in Glen Rose was a perfect getaway for my family! We walked to so many great restaurants and shops. It was decorated so well to represent the history of the town, while also being quite child friendly for my young girls! She had everything we needed to cook, shower, and even run a load of post-dino valley hike laundry! We recommend this home highly. Sarah was a wonderful host! Super responsive and accommodating!

My husband and I enjoyed staying here. It was cute, clean, and cozy. We had dinner at homestead heritage cafe and enjoyed visiting magnolia. we would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at Villa 101. Frances was super responsive to my questions throughout. We were also allowed a flexible check-in, which we appreciated. The home is walking distance or just a short drive from literally everything Glen Rose has to offer—20ish min from Dinosaur Valley state Park and Fossil Rim Safari, 3 min from GR’s historic downtown, and 5-8 min from any restaurants or shops outside of GR’s Historic Downtown. Additionally, we brought our 70 lb pup and had no issues whatsoever. There was ample space for him to walk around inside (follow the house rules of course!) and enough space for his kennel. There was enough room outside for him to do his business too!! Highly recommend this place. We will definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

A nice romantic place to spend the weekend. Out of the city but near enough to still drive to do things during the day if you want to. A great view of the trees through all the windows and out on the deck. Woke up each morning to beautiful rain storms passing through. A hassle free check in and out made it a great experience.
