Coll Cottage - a charming rural private studio

A two acre property adjacent to Devil's Backbone Trail Head and surrounded by public county open space on three sides. The rock formation behind the cottage surrounds the property with privacy. The host, a nationally known western landscape artist, has his studio in the barn on the property. The main house is an historic structure built in 1920's. The Cottage has all of the amenities for a luxurious stay in the Colorado foothills, 26 miles from Rocky Mountain National Park.

The apartment is a pleasant walk to restaurants, coffee shops, movie theatre and museum. Cruiser or road bikes can be provided allowing access to more than 25 miles of bike path. The apartment has its own patio surrounded by fruit trees. This is a space efficient, stand-alone unit suitable for a maximum of two guests. One well behaved, small dog is welcome with a $80 pet fee. The owner lives next door and is happy to help with activity planning and trip suggestions.
